Surprisingly fresh trendy night
spot for a Mediterranean dining experience. Friendly staff who can help you select food, drink that will make your night memorable and special for those with you."

It was out first time trying the
restaurant and we were all thrilled with our dining experience. I would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant and will most definitely be dining there again!"

Best Greek food I have had in
toronto. Very authentic. Fresh and tasty and different."

Second time to restuarant in two
weeks and I love it..cant wait for summer to sit outside :)"
Dined on 2/22/2014
This was my 3rd time at Trinity. I
can say the atmosphere is casual yet slightly upscale and the service decent, but what I wish they'd pay more attention to is giving value for the higher prices that they demand. No one in the city of TO charges $7.00 for a bread basket (3 pcs cut in half). Nor $15.00 for micro mini lamb shish kebob sticks on pita bread. For sure since our last visit, (2 mos. ago), their portions sizes on salads, octopus and lamb sticks has gotten noticeably smaller. As a regular restaurant goer in Toronto for 20+years I appreciate when an establishment gives good service, (beginning to end) and has professionals in the kitchen knowing when a dish is just too skimpy to send out Note: indigenous Greek wine was nice"

Totally enjoyed our evening!
Service of the upstairs dinning room was perfect. Lights were dimmed, candles and impeccable service. Very well put together menu for the occasion of Valentines, the Restaurant Manager came to introduce himself and took care of a concern we had promptly. Tried some new wines and loved that we never felt rushed and left to enjoy the seafood and lamb at our own pace. Presentations were nice, food cooked with flavour and to our liking. Will deff return this summer, the location by the lake will be perfect for a long afternoon of lazy lunch and drinks on the back patio. Do give this place a try!"
Dined on 2/14/2014
Very cool place, but not enough
for the price. The food was like all the Greek food I've tryed so far in Toronto, just not Greek. We had seafood and fish wich was ok but the basic like french fries was like super heated in microwaves. I can't really find a reason to eat again there. Maybe for a drink at the bar and no fries..."

From our first moments with our
server, Sandra, we were greatly impressed by The ambience and attitude of this new, dynamic restaurant on Lakeshore Ave., East. Being new to authentic Greek cuisine, we were somewhat clueless as to how to rightly interpret the menu. Sensing that, our server intuited our needs and recommended some excellent choices, from appetizer to mean course to desert, for which she spoke candidly about the better choice. The entire experience was delightful, a lovely Valentines day outing with my wife, who also was mightily impressed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone."

The food was fantastic and the
service was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to going back again."

Only think i dont like its the
same music over over again"
Dined on 2/7/2014
This was our third time dining at
Trinity & we found the service much improved. The waiter was timely in taking our order, his service was attentive & inobtrusive & the sommelier was excellent in his knowledge & recommendation of the wine. I still find the noise level too loud & "techno" for an evening of fine dining. Is it meant to be a "disco" or a fine restaurant? If it is to be a Greek Taverna - the music doesn't quite match that definition either. As a woman I found the extremely short skirts & tights that the female wait staff were wearing a little too inappropriate. The men are wearing blue jeans & the women have to wear sexually suggestive uniforms - not appropriate!"
Dined on 1/31/2014
All personal were friendly, and
professional and contributed to great dining experience, but the waiter Mr. Constandinos (The Greek guy) was impressively, fast, kind, and enthusiastic about his job. All other personnel were also ten out of 10. One remark though, while all food was delicous, we have expected little bit more meat and less bones in the lamb. Maybe next time you will offer a little bit better on this issue. This is not a criticism, just an honest opinion about our expectations from the place of your standard."
Dined on 1/31/2014
Service was too personal, too
intrusive, not on point and unskilled...The restaurant is beautifully Greek-inspired but the female uniforms need to go now (white cocktail-like dresses covered in lace and white hosiery...looks like my grandmothers doylie collection). Food was very good for Greek in the city. Notable, all-Greek wine list. Cocktails need work. Cafe's are from a Nespresso machine rather than a traditional one...its very noticeable. I would go back but just not often."

This place is unique and has great
potential, just did not seem like anyone was running the operations. The designers have done an awesome job and it's a great product in an amazing location, waiting to be managed right."
Dined on 1/19/2014
Excellent!! I will recommend this
place to everyone. Truly amazing décor and delicious wide range of cuisine."
Dined on 1/19/2014
I made a reso 2 weeks prior to our
visit & we were sat at a table right by the door. I said nothing because I assumed the restaurant would soon fill but I remained less then half full. I feel the food was grossly overpriced and although the portions were large it would have been nice to have been told and as a result we would have ordered half the amount. Although our waitress was attentive she did forget my husbands meal and he had to waive her down to ask her where it was. No apology not acknowledge just a simple oh yes, it's coming. And it did, 25 minutes after we had all already started eating."
Dined on 1/17/2014
As for a seat away from windows if
there in the winter otherwise you and your meal will cool off real quick! Good for special occasion as the prices warrant that."
Dined on 1/18/2014
We ordered dips which were
delicious, but were very surprised that we were charged for the bread that accompanied the dips. When asked for more bread to finish our dips, we were charged again!! Also surprised that they don't serve "greek" coffee in a greek restaurant Pricey, given the casual atmosphere and rushed service....need to slow it down..."
Dined on 1/11/2014
The appetizers were good, the fish
was fresh. In my opinion the dishes are way overpriced. We were a group of seven. Shared the appetizers and ordered only three fish ( 2 sea bass and 1 red snapper). Had one bottle of wine ( 40 $) and we paid $ 125.00 each. We will probably not go back there. Toronto has other very good fish restaurants, which are not as expensive."
Dined on 1/4/2014
Beautiful atmosphere, great modern
Greek! I recommend the beef checks moussaka and the dumplings!"
Dined on 12/29/2013
For sure one of the best
restaurant experiences I've had in a LONG time! Excellent food and service, great ambience, and pure surprise of a gem. The menu has taken traditional greek food and placed a modern twist onto it. Great job, innovative and definitely will go back!"

We had heard good things about
Trinity Taverna so booked dinner for four to entertain friends visiting from out of town. While the food was fabulous and the service second to none, the decibel level of the pounding music was overwhelming. Conversation was not remotely possible without shouting. When asked, the waiter did turn the volume down somewhat, but as soon as we asked for the check, the music was booming again. And this was at 6pm - an early dinner so that we could attend a concert downtown - at 9 or 10pm, I could understand the volume being cranked, but not at this early hour."
Dined on 12/21/2013
A restaurant that people will
travel for. The Beach is not well known for gastronomic experimentation. Trinity puts this area of the city on the map. Healthy Mediterranean diet at its freshest and tastiest. Yum!.( You won't find overdone fish or greasy lamb chops here - you do get what you're paying for). Contemporary, vibrant. setting, At times the music a tad too energetic, but hey this is a Greek restaurant and it's not bazooka. At first happy to order the house white but found it rather bland. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff."
Dined on 12/16/2013
The restaurant is beautiful, the
ambiance is great, but frankly, the service ruined the whole experience. It was slow, even though the restaurant wasn't that busy, and our waiter was completely unpleasant. When you are spending that amount of money, you expect to be treated civilly and perhaps, maybe even get a smile from your waiter. Neither happened for us. It was very disappointing."
Dined on 12/15/2013
Great food, impressive decor,
friendly service, but...the noise level!!! Turn the "music" down!"
Dined on 12/13/2013
Beautiful spot, great food,
excellent, very knowledgeable waiter who was proud to share his culture and food."

Dined on 12/10/2013
Had been for lunch & dinner… Was
hoping for an exceptional Friday evening with out-of-town guests… unfortunately, even with a reservation, we were put at a noisy, high-traffic table beside the bar… when we asked to be moved the hostess never came… we were left standing… so we moved ourselves to an empty corner… I was appalled at that kind of treatment… The music was so loud we couldn't hear across the table and had to ask twice to turn it down… The food was great (too salty for me personally), but still exceptional… although my friend (with an ulcer) who wanted grilled fish was confused & upset that it came swimming in oil… the service was hit & miss… If we weren't in conversation the wait time between courses would have been a joke…"

We were at trinity when they just
opened and loved it and came back about 3 weekends in a row but after a long break we booked this reservation and it was really disappointing food wise. Service was great. Hope they'll get back on track!"

Restaurant lacks high chairs which
we requested. But there are plenty of banquettes where you can place a car seat bucket if you have an infant. We didn't bring a stroller and I think it may be a bit hard to navigate it inside. Decor is lovely. There is plenty of seating room for large groups. Restaurant is kid friendly in the early hours (we arrived at 4:30 and stayed till 6:30), but as we were leaving music level went up a few notches. Staff was very friendly and welcoming."
Dined on 11/30/2013
excellent fresh fish very well
prepared and served by knowledgeable staff. Not cheap, but why would it be."
Dined on 11/26/2013
The decor is authentic looking
Greek..... Classy side. Food was cooked creatively. The Greek salad was delicious with a different /interesting presentation. Snapper was cooked to perfection. Pork soufla was moist and delicious. Portion sizes are very good. You are able to pick whether you want a smaller or larger size for some of the entrees which is great. Of course, its reflected in the price. Waiter was a little over the top in his enthusiasm but service was very good in spite of this. Greek music would have enhanced the ambiance. Surprisingly, no Greek coffee on the menu."
Dined on 11/24/2013
Loved the restaurant. Delicious
mezze to start and amazing fresh fish. Would definitely visit again."
Dined on 11/23/2013
I booked a table online for a
birthday dinner and had notes for the host on their computer system. I called twice before arriving to confirm that I was coming for a birthday even and would like a birthday dessert with our dinner. When I arrived, I they really rushed our seating and didn't even take the time to listen when I mentioned the reservation name, nor check the computer about my reservation. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years as a server, and I understand that communication can get lost. But if I did my due diligence to call twice before my reservation, spoke to the host upon arrival AND then went back to the manager to mention that I was here for a birthday and dessert, this is poor service."
Dined on 11/22/2013
Visited twice. Service and food
quality better on the slower of the two nights I went on. Fun spot for those who like lively, loud restaurants. Would go again, but not on a Saturday night."
Dined on 11/9/2013
Where do I begin? We were at
Trinity celebrating my parent's 40th Anniversary and it was a great experience for them. It was their first time and Peter and the staff made it a beautiful evening for them. My parents were raving not only about the food, but the amazing service and exceptional hospitality. Keep up the outstanding customer service! We will all definitely be back!"
Dined on 11/10/2013
We went for a friend's bday. It
was four of us. It felt like out waiter was just standing beside our table all the time. He was rushed. Hendce, we were rushed. He kept taking our half empty plates away and brough the bill right away. It felt like they're just trying to get rid of us. Half of the restaurant was empty so i can't even say there were people waiting. Our entire dining took less than an hr."
Dined on 11/8/2013
loved this restaurant. the food
was so authentic for greece and the islands, setting perfect!"
Dined on 11/3/2013
Trinity is an absolutely beautiful
and very spacious restaurant, with one of the best summer patios in the city. A lot of work and money have been invested in this restaurant and it shows. This is a great place for a large group or party. The atmosphere is great and service was very attentive. As for the food, all the dishes we ordered were quite good, however, we were not blown away. The Greek food and seafood were no better than other Greek restaurants in the city, and we found the price point to be quite high for what you get. Although it probably won't make my list of regular restaurants to visit, it is still worth trying it out, especially in the summertime."
Dined on 10/31/2013
Went for my birthday last week,
with a group of six. The food was excellent. Our waiter was very energetic at first, but once we let him know we weren't in a hurry, he was great and we had a lot of fun. We had lots of great, well prepared appetizers. The spit roasted lamb was really good. All over, a great night!"
