Locally known Chef Ted Buetow of Theo's Cream City Chophouse in Fond du lac says, "Let the food speak for itself." And what the food says is that Trinity delivers the comfort-food, Americana experience while offering an ideal place to drink, dine and gather.

Trinity holds high expectations to become the social hub of downtown - from an extraordinary menu, a gentleman's aura that is palpable upon arrival, to the hands-down best outdoor patio in Fond du lac; it already has surpassed many other local eateries in such a short time.

Trinity functions as a unique banquet facility but also as an upcoming entertainment venue for live music - naturally as it's located in the heart of the developing Arts and Entertainment District downtown.

  • "Both the interior and outdoor patio are beautiful. Downhill from there. 15 min before we could flag someone down (not our sever, I asked). Our server arrived as we were finishing our drinks and contemplating whether or not we should go elsewhere. I had to ask if she was waiting on us as she did not welcome us nor introduce herself. Specials? She pointed at the menu and said, "That salad, we just added it". Ok, for an ala carte menu with 35$ steaks and 30$ seafood risotto I guess we had higher expectations for the service. Got that aspect underway, received our apps and 30 min later received our entrees.... But not our soup/ salad course. Our server was new, I get it, but she should have had more support from her teammates... Won't be back."

  • "Drew, our server was great. My wife and I were there for our Ann. The place was OK, the food was good. Unfortunately my wife's Med. Well Filet was very pink and bloody, but it was a nice thick cut, the staff was quick to remedy the problem. I came initially with a very negative outlook, because previously we were shooed away with open tables, no reservation and no cell phone to use the app. to book an online res. Punished I would say since I was ready to spend for the high prices. I also saw that the majority of the reviews are negative. We will stop again and try something else. Thank your staff for a pleasant ann. evening."

  • "We got here and there were few others actually in the restraint, maybe 1/5 or 1/6 of the tables had people as it was early for supper. We were seated quickly in a quiet alcove by the hostess and left. It was over 20 mins with out anything to drink, before our waitress showed up. She was young and as we were waiting I watched her clear a table at a snails pace and stand at the bar talking to 4 other members of the staff not even glancing over to see if we were ready. After she finally showed up at the table I asked about the menu as it was more bar like then the one online. She said it was do to a special event. We were also having a special event and ended up leaving as extremely poor service and a lack of nice food were not what we wanted"

  • "We arrived and were seated at 6:30. At 6:45, after the "manager" introduced herself to the table next to ours then started to walk away, I called her over and told her no one had been to wait on our table yet. She took our drink order and sent over a waiter. Waiter took our appetizer and dinner orders. Appetizers came fairly quickly and the waiter mentioned the soup that two of us had ordered was "on its way". Never saw him again. At 7:30, I finally spotted the manager, asked for our bill, paid and left. As we were leaving, we noticed a table that no one was sitting at when we arrived, had eaten, finished, and were paying their bill....in the time it took us to get an order of drinks and an appetizer. Extraordinarily disappointing. "

  • "I stopped here for dinner while traveling for work. The location is beautiful and the service and food did not disappoint. I tried the hazelnut crusted chicken and the blue moon martini - both were great. If I had any feedback, it would be that the hazelnut crust needs to be in the food processor a little longer as the nut pieces were too large. Overall a great experience!"

  • "We were VERY happy with the Mothers Day Brunch, will certainly come back. My wife received a Rose, which was very nice. The food was so good, we didn't feel the lines were a problem, they went fast, great food choices. We were there a few days before that for Anniversary and Birthday Dinner and enjoyed it very much, so we wanted to bring our family there for this special occasion. Thank you for such a great day."

  • "We were there to celebrate a birthday and I had asked for a quiet booth - we were seated right next to the bar and the route to the kitchen - hardly a quiet booth. It was very busy so perhaps that was the only booth available, however it would have been nice to have been told that. The food was very good and service was fine. I would not highly recommend this place because it is very pricey."

  • "We've been to this restaurant many times when it first opened and loved it. This time my daughter's went long periods without soda that the server took to refill but never brought back and the prices have gone up so much that we will probably not return. What a shame for a place that looks so great and was comparable in price to other local restaurants. "

  • "Ambiance is awesome and the food is fantastic, but the service is terrible!!! In there and Good Friday and it wasn't terribly busy, but the waiters sure acted like it. Our drinks sat empty forever (including our waters after sucking those down too). What looked like a manager and a host or two managers spent more time setting empty tables for nobody than going around and filling people up! Our guy never asked how things were as we were eating, and 10 minutes after we ordered, he came back and said he lost our ticket. So then it took another 15 to get our soups/salads ... 25 minutes after placing our original order. Need to get your act together b/c it's a great place! Get some waterboys and food servers or something!! Terrible!!"

  • "If you want a unique historical spot with a great menu and excellent food and service, Trinity is the restaurant for you. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu and the tastes of all the different beers they had available. It was a great dining experience and the AHI Tuna dish was fantastic! We had a party of 5 ranging in ages from 59 to 84 all choosing different dishes and all were great!"

  • "Bad service. Food temp was barely warm. Very disorganized wait staff. Wait time for food is terrible. Salmon wasn't grilled like stated In the menu also said it came with asparagus and got green beans instead. Beer soup tasted like think flour soup with some cheese and no flavor. Checks were figured out wrong. Waitress didn't realize she didn't give us soup and she delivered the entree first."

There were literally bells on the table to get wait staff attention. That's completely acknowledging you have poor service. $120 for 3 people the service better be top knotch."

  • "On Friday, March 21 at 6:00 we were pleased to sit near a husband and wife duo doing great renditions of songs from the 60s and 70s, in a beautiful harmonic style that welcomed us to sing along in our booth. We hope they will return. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food, our friendly server and the ambience in the tastefully reused church. The noise level was a tad high in between the songs, probably because of the voices bouncing off the ceiling, and the food prices were a bit high, but expected with the probable high overhead. But my highball was surprisingly generous and less expensive than expected. The clam chowder and vegetables were excellent and the hazelnut encrusted chicken, while not especially savory, was well-prepared."

  • "We had a party of 9 going but thank goodness only 5 could make it. We were seated right away and were all impressed by the atmosphere. We waited a little bit for our waitress and she brought the first round of drinks fairly quick. Went downhill from there. Everyone ordered and all who got soup it was lukewarm and the salads were small. We didn't have any silverware and waitress claimed she had to find some. All the drinks came in different glasses because she said they were running out. It took an hour to recieve our food and we did not order anything special. She said it was because of the seafood risotto which my friend did not care for at all. Everyone else's food was good. I will go back to try it again just to see if it improves."

  • "The concept is a 10: Convert a church into a restaurant/pub. Beautiful. The execution: 8.75. The right music is paramount to creating environment. However, Bach or Vivaldi are no where to be heard. Instead, live music that was too loud--I often had difficulty hearing my guests, and did not match the environment. Also, My booth for 4 was cramped as I touched my guests let from across the table often. I am 5' 11". Also, the food prices seemed to sore since my last visit 10 months ago. For dinner, my wife and I ordered the same dish, pork, with a side of mashed potatoes, three drinks total (brandy old fashioned) and shared a desert (no coffee) came to 86 dollars with tip. That said the food was excellent--no complaints."

  • "We've been there four time now and each time I can say it has progressively gotten worse. First time was great, ambience is beautiful and food was outstanding! The following two times was nice but nothing to write home about. Our fourth time my beer batter fish was over done and my wife's favorite chicken dish increased in price by $5. I don't mind a moderate price increase but $5 is just gouging. This restaurant started with a great reputation and we told many friends about it but I will no longer be referring friends after our last dinner. Prices and food quality have gotten out of hand."

  • "Sadly, what could be a unique dining experience due to this being a renovated church has been a disappointment every time I've dined; and I've tried it 5 times. The most glaring issue is the extremely poor service. After being seated we waited over 10 minutes for a server and that was after going back to the hostess and informing her. Then, no apology and very poor service throughout the meal. The poor service has been a constant at every visit. While the menu is varied and enticing, the prices are higher than the quality. Every time I've dined here I tell myself I won't be back but I keep trying because I WANT it to be good. There is so much potential in such an interesting setting. It's very sad. Wish management would take note."

The setting is in a tastefully and creatively converted large, beautiful church. Staff was friendly and some live background music was welcome yet not obtrusive.   • "Was recommended by a friend for its ambience and great food. Ambience, yes. Great food, questionable. Started with the bartender getting drink order wrong. There were four of us dining. The waitress was very nice and patient while we decided on what to get. Two of the four ordered wood fired pizzas, Chicken dish entrees for the other two which came with salads. Salads very small with maybe a leaf or two and definitely not fresh. Chicken entrees came and were told pizzas would be right out. Ten minutes later, one pizza was served. Finally five minutes later the other pizza came. Bill was wrong, no in person apology from management. Very disappointed."

  • "Celebrated 20 yr anniversary with party of six. We each ordered different drinks and menu items ranging from filet to Reuben's. The waitress was attentive and quick with drinks. Food was served delicious and hot. In addition the atmosphere was incredible! This refurbished Catholic Church has retained its beauty while providing a quiet romantic and intriguing place to enjoy dinner! What a great place to visit!!!"
