A word from Trinity Place
A True NYC Gem

Trinity Place is a New Breed of a bar and restaurant in Manhattan’s Financial district. The bar itself is fitted within an historical Wall Street bank vault dating from 1904, showing off the true wealth and power of its day. If even to visit our two 35 ton vault doors it will be worth the trip.

Old world indulgence is married perfectly with new world contemporary elements to create a warm comfortable vibe welcoming to all who peer through its doors.

Over size red silk lamp shades give delicate light to the 40 feet of mahogany bar anchored by Italian made beer towers.

Brown leather banquette’s hand crafted in Ireland fit perfectly between pillar of 5’ thick steel, and the mahogany wood clad dining room with chandelier compliments the menu to please even the most refined palette.

Diner Reviews
  • "We ate at Trinity Place. When you read about the vault, I guess we didn't comprehend how big this vault was. The building was an old ban vault and when you walk through the door, you don't realize how spacious this place is. No constraints, no low ceilings etc. Food was very good and "interesting". I had a yellow tomato gazpacho-excellent and one of my associates had a Lobster BLT again excellent. No disappointment here."

  • "This has been a great place for business meals. It is located in the financial district and is always a favorite for lunch. Highly recommend it."

  • "I come to Trinity often for lunch, being that I work across the street and it is very convenient and reasonable. This was the first time I've had a 3 course dinner there, and it was better than I expected. The spicy chicken fingers may have been the only disappointing item we ordered. The spinach salad with roasted tomato and goat cheese was incredibly flavorful, and my steak was actually cooked to the medium rare that I ordered, then covered with an umami rich mushroom sauce. The seared tuna was definitely sushi grade, and even though the fish was a standard (somewhat boring) fillet, the sesame seed crust added a much needed hit of flavor and texture. The cocktails were a bit too sweet, but not in a way that ruined the overall meal."

  • "I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance in the back room. It was totally different than the bar scene in the front and gives patrons a nice chocie depending on what the night might bring! Food was good, fresh, nice chocies, slightly limited menu. Service was very good."

  • "Trinity is a great spot for a quick lunch with colleagues, especially if you want to catch a sporting event (ie World Cup). The ambience is energetic but professional, they have decent beers on tap and an easy drinking selection of wines. The food was excellent, much better than nearby Pound and Pence fare. Duo of tartare included salmon and tuna, seasoned with sesame oil and accompanied by cucumber and seaweed. Tomato bisque was perfectly seasoned and not too rich, while the burger was cooked exactly as ordered. Only disappointment was the side dish of potato cubes instead of French fries with the sandwiches. We plan to continue to patronize this restaurant regularly."

  • "I was looking for somewhere close by the Hilton Millennium to eat, the Wall St area can be a bit baron late in the evening, Trinity was great. I loved the ex-bank vault doors, I was seated promptly and the waiter came quickly. I ordered the Lobster bisque, plus a Turkey Burger, and fries, simply food that was delivered quickly, hot, well presented."

  • "This former bank is lots of fun and the food was good. But the service at lunchtime, kind of awful. We were forgotten about for about ten minutes. No one ever asked us if we wanted drinks. Then we were asked if we wanted bread and we did. We never saw the bread! Finally, someone took our order and we thought it best to do it all at once:drinks, starter, and entree. After we ate our starters a different person came and asked if we wanted coffee and dessert. Nope, because we were getting entrees! Then it took us forever to get our check, too. Once again, the food was quite good. The setting was fun. The service, when we got it, was friendly. But I do have to wonder who got our bread..."

  • "Loved it! Delicious food for all taste. Very interesting history of the building. Ask the friendly hostess. Great service and food came quick if you are short on time. A must try for sure."

  • "Walking distance from the memorial. Nice neighborhood. Converted bank vault. Sat in the bar area, due to last minute reservations. Bar area nice but extremely noisy. The portions are very small so I would recommend having an appetizer or salad as well as an entree. It took a a long time to get our check, it was an early Monday evening so that was surprising. Food was very good."

  • "Bar was a great scene. Bartender quick with noticing when you want a drink. Beer cold, cocktails mixed well. Moved to dinner in the back and it was quite and chill. Lamb shank was amazing I wanted to order another one."

  • "Great place to meet friends for lunch and actually be able to hear each other talk. Food is always excellent. Menu had some great options like a Kobe burger and salads but for me its the Lobster BLT! Enough said. "

  • "I have visited the restaurant before and it continues to be a great place for locals and visitors. The unique history of the bank vault and the decor continue to transform your mindset while your dine. The menu has great variety and the ambiance is inviting, private and condusive to conversation unlike many other places where the music choice is inappropriate or too loud for the setting. You can actually have a conversation without raising your voice. The service is timed appropriately and I never had to ask the staff for their attention during the meal. I will continue to recommend and visit this wonderful place adjacent to the now famous Stuccotti Park."

  • "The setting is grand. Beautiful building and rooms. Unique and well designed. The menu won't knock you out, but it is well executed. Server was very nice and no complaints on that end. Was glad we went."

  • "I no longer work in the Wall St. area, but I love to come back to Trinity Place. Besides getting a kick out of eating in a converted bank vault, the food is consistently good and the wait staff are lovely. If you want to be able to hear yourself, stick with the back dining room and not the bar area, which I prefer during lunch. Great ceasar salad and soba noodle entrees. Love their burgers, as well."

  • "it is ocnvenient to my office and various subway lines if you want to meet someone - the Kobe beef burgers are delicious - the wine is reasonable - the welcome is warm, the waiters attentive without overdoing it - and very cozy, warm atmosphere - have taken people from all over there - tourists in town and everyone has enjoyed it"

  • "Food was delicious, nice lunch ambiance, busy but good service. Only complaint was that the rolls before lunch weren't warmed. I live in Newport RI and eat seafood all the time. The salmon I had was some of the best I've ever tried!"

  • "Pretty cool place, had a romantic bite there. seems nice for a date depending on the hours; I went around noon. Not loud, not quiet. Good not overly friendly service, right amount of light. It seems like the kind of place that's perfect for any outing, out with friends, your partner, yourself. While there are probably places that do each of those things best, Trinity seems to be a fairly decent accommodation in all those categories."

  • "We were a party of three, all agreed we would return for the food despite the inattentive service. The waiter struggled to remember orders, refresh drinks and check on the table. Good selection of appetizers and salads, variety in the main course selection made us agree we would return with the hope that the service was just having an off night. Loved the decor, perfect for the financial district."

  • "we really appreciated our dinner at trinity place, so we decided to go there three times. the menu as u can see on the site has not many plates but sometimes this means quality and this is one of those times. The food was all very good and well cooked. we were 6 people and in our 3 visit we have tried almost everything. Even the location, and ancient bank caveau, is very peculiar. raccomended"

  • "We decided to go there for our New Year's Eve dinner since it was in our neighborhood. It was our first time there and we were happy we made the choice to try this place. I had Pan Seared Cod and my b-friend had Filet Mignon. The filet was very good but the cod dish was one of the best I've had. Staff were friendly and prompt (Val, the restaurant manager and Hakim, our sever). We are planning on going back for happy hour. Will recommend to my friends and colleagues."

  • "Was looking for a place with nice atmosphere and good food yet not too pricy to bring my team to dinner after visiting the 9/11 memorial. Cool place inside an old bank vault. The bar was noisy but the dining room was perfect. Nice selecton of draft beers. Something for everyone without "breaking the bank". Everyone raved about the meal. Definately will come back with visitors."

  • "Great food, great service and the historic bank vault setting makes it a one of a kind dining experience for lunch or dinner. Its a bit noisy, but has a fantstic, vibrant atmosphere."

  • "Firstly, let me say we were seated in the dining room, thru the vault. The bar was crazy noisy but people were having a good time. I had my son in from San Francisco and was having a dinner with family so I did want it a bit quieter. We were given the dinner menu. I would have wanted to see the bar menu too but based on where we were, dinner was fine. Wine and atmosphere super. We opted to go a bit casual with Kobe burgers for some. I got the onion tart as an appetizer which I loved and then the tuna which was very tender. Would go again."

  • "After a few sub-par lunches (service and food) at Capital Grille, and not wanting to go to one of the pubs, we opted for Trinity for a business lunch. Service was very good, attentive but not overly aggressive. Food was quick and delicious. Not as stuffy as Capital Grille but still professional. We would go there again in a heartbeat."
