Trinitifabulous mealthe food was extraordinary - the plating was exceptional - I thought the chicken was a bit salty ( they may brine it ) - the asparagus starter was the best. They have different foams that really make the meal interesting - so you can wander from one to the next and really enjoy tasting.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Incredible Dining ExperienceTriniti was definitely NOT noisy and the service was incredible! As my date and I walked in the Executive Chef Jeff was dutifully at the front of the restaurant and greeted us with charm and a sincere welcoming attitude. He set the tone from the minute we walked in and we left the restaurants pleasantly full, thoroughly happy and talking about coming back. I will be sure to let my friends know who had given mixed reviews that this is now one of my top eateries in Montrose and will refer our clients who come to Montrose Realty (our Brokerage) to definitely be sure to go to Triniti.
What an incredible dining experience!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat placeWe went for my boyfriend's birthday. We had a wonderful time. The staff was excellent, the food was wonderful. The portions were just right. Not too small and not crazy large. The wine was served at the correct temperature and the restaurant had a good vibe to it.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome LunchGreat Lunch. Very impressed with everything. Solid Service6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMImpressiveThe vegetables are phenomenal and that's not a word I typically use in my culinary vernacular. Every dish was superbly prepared with some very appealing plating. Very good wine list and more importantly items are priced competitively. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I may have found a new regular spot.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMEpic MealChef Ryan and his team reveal more verve & genius with each visit. Culinary perfection abounds. Not to be missed!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding serviceWe were seated right away although restaurant was very full. Staff very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Atmosphere very pleasant. It was very loud but thankfully no music to compete with. "Amuse bouche" was a nice surprise. Presentation very attractive and food excellent and well prepared. Valet parking is free. A nice touch were chocolate truffles and the beautifully wrapped muffins which we were given as gift when we left. Would recommend and would definitely return.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Dining Experience in Houstondining at Triniti was a wonderful experience. The food was expensive but it was worth it because of the quality. The cocktails are delicious. The staff would check on us often and bring us bites of other foods to try. At the end of the evening we were too full for dessert so we received free pastries to take home. The valets were also very friendly.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEXCELLENTIncredible drink menu. Excellent food, cool interior, great size on the portions. The only thing I could knock is that I spent a little more than I wanted.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Service Needs WorkI have been twice; both times, the food is outstanding. Our appetizers arrived very timely and were much appreciated. We then waited nearly an hour between servings. That's just not acceptable for Houston. I'll probably give Triniti a rest for awhile so they can work out the kinks.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, unique combinationsVery unique food pairings. Don't be fooled by the descriptions. The chefs at Triniti do a wonderful job of creating truly delicious meals using uncommon pairings.
Highly reccomend.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyable restaurant experienceWe dined at Trinity early on a Friday evening. Our son was accommodated with a delicious looking burger and fantastic fries. Highlights were the cool ambiance, the perfectly salty olive bread, and the very helpful newbie sommelier who helped us choose a delicious blend. Lowlights were the hard bench seats and lukewarm salmon.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMVery enjoyable meal!Everything about Triniti is special. The atmosphere, the food and the service.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMBest steak ever! The absolute best filet I have ever eaten! Service was great, food fabulous and the muffin they sent for breakfast the next day was unbelievable. Perfect night.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMMost improved hot spotthe rumors are true, the kitchen has gotten its act together. My first meals there were poor when they first opened, bad timing, fussy and tiny meals that looked great but were nothing special to the tongue. Happy to report while keeping its basic sensibility intact, there are now memorable tastes on the plate. and the staff that once seemed overwhelmed and unprepared now usher the public through the evening with a sense of joy. There was an overly long gap between starters and main courses but the staff was aware and made sure we were taken care of during the slow period.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDined for lunch. Went to catchDined for lunch. Went to catch up with a friend, and ate and gabbed for 2 1/2 hrs. We were never rushed. The server was attentive, but not overly so. I ordered the tomato soup that was very good. It had a grilled cheddar slider on the side. I also had the composed beet, roasted cauliflower and strawberry "salad"/starter. It was also very nice. My friend had the flank steak salad, which she enjoyed. Would like to go back for dinner and cocktails.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding! The food and atmosphere were outstanding! I will definitely go back and highly recommend it!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMthe cold lobster corn bisquethe cold lobster corn bisque special was delightful, but the portion seemed a bit small.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMHappy Birthday!I took my partner and two friends here for a birthday celebration. The food was very fresh, even some raw choices and a lovely amuse bouche. At the end, they brought 4 small lemon cookies with rasberry jam and 1 candle. Very understated and discreet. Loved it.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time diners there, weFirst time diners there, we will be back. Great service and wine list. Decor was extra surprise. Probably
best time to go is early in the week as this place should always have a crowd..5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMTrendy cool decor. Nice barTrendy cool decor. Nice bar area. Celebrated a friend birthday here on a Monday and place was nicely busy but not crazy. We had the five course and five course chef tasting menu . It was great that we could sub in a beet salad from the menu.....and it was good. Presentation was beautiful and good was fresh, tasty, and unique . Filet mignon n halibut was fantastic. Dessert was exceptional. Overall highly recommend this restaurant .5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner was pretty good....The minute we walked in we were greeted warmly by the hostess, and then our server for the evening. He was great throughout the dinner too, as he gave us prompt service but without being too pushy. I think it was an older gentleman with glasses named Mike.
The food here was awesome! We ordered the Lobster and Fois Gras appetizers. And for entrees, we had the Escolar Almondine (which tasted delicious and felt like velvet and butter on the tongue!) and the Chicken. I was impressed by the chicken that we even took it home...But it wasn't until the next morning that I realized that the uneaten part (there were 2 parts) wasn't cooked all the way! I was a bit disappointed by that. Desserts were both very delicious.
Overall, great experience.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThere was an event going onThere was an event going on when we were there, but they set aside a room for guests to still come. The starters asparagus and beets were wonderful. The waiter told us the chicken is surprisingly good, which was true. He also suggested the tuna, but it was okay. We got the salmon and it was excellent! Overall, the review as wonderful and the food was good. I went Triniti in the evening on my first visit and the ambiance was beautiful.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best dining experiences! The portions and presentation were outstanding! Diverse and interesting menu. Exceptional wine list. Service was impeccable, particularly the sommelier, Sean.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and excellent service!Great food and excellent service! We really enjoyed the evening.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat wine and serviceWe wanted a sauvignon blanc to pair with our seafood, but are not experts in wine by any means. Our waitress brought over the bartender, J.C., to help us with our selection and we ended up with a fantastic bottle (Merry Edwards). The wine really made the meal at this place, though the food was delicious and innovative as well. An overall very good experience.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent dining experienceAnother couple plus ourselves tried Triniti for dinner Friday night. The food was out of this world. We had great service and the manager stopped by a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying our meal and experience. We had such a great time, we didn't realize that we were there over 3 hours. We never were rushed. Everything was superb; the food, service and ambiance. We'll definitely be back.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, wonderful decorGreat food, wonderful decor but the service was extremely slow.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome NightWe had the 5 course tasting menu. It was fantastic. Only complaint would be our meat on the main entree was slightly overcook to our liking. I would say it was slightly over medium and we were expecting medium-rare. Other than that, we had a fabulous time.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous Chef's Table ExperienceThe Triniti team was outstanding tonight with an impeccable 8 course tasting menu at the Chef's Table. Chef Ryan Hildebrand & his team members have created a superlative culinary enclave with vibrant ambiance, excellent service & glorious wine pairings.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved dining at TrinitiWe loved dining at Triniti and would recommend it to our friends in a second.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Celebration DinnerTriniti was our choice for a special celebration dinner and it did not disappoint. The five course tasting menu was wonderful. Portions are small, but it is a tasting menu. The wine list was great and when our first choice of bottle was not available the waiter did an excellent job of finding a good replacement at the same price. Triniti was an overall great experience.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWine tasting with food pairingMy husband and I had reservations here for dinner. The GM called earlier in the week to see if we wanted to participate in a wine tasting/pairing that was going on in the restaurant that same evening. We decided to do the wine tasting/pairing and it was an excellent choice. The wine was wonderful (Frank Family Vineyard) and the food was delicious. The service was excellent. The tables were set up "family style" and at first I wasn't so sure about sitting next to strangers but it was a lot of fun and we met and socialized with some very nice people. We will be back for dinner or another wine tasting.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWe celebrated my son's birthdayWe celebrated my son's birthday recently at Triniti. The food was wonderful and the service was awesome. Great time!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMexcellent food, excellentexcellent food, excellent service. Great evening.Alex - our waiter was outstanding.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWill definitely be back. DuckWill definitely be back. Duck was amazing so does everything else :-)4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMnice place for surea very nice place, but personally I prefer smaller places and this place got around 25 tables so one looses some of the intimacy that you get in a smaller place. Having said so very nice food with godd wine pairings.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have eaten at Trinity severalWe have eaten at Trinity several times and the food is always great. The combinations are very creative and surprising tasty. The staff is very friendly and professional. We really enjoy Trinity.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways superb!!This is the second time we've been to Triniti for brunch. It has been terrific both times. The selection is diverse, the food is very good, and the service is excellent. This time we took some friends with us and they were very impressed with the restaurant. We will definitely go back numerous times.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was my son's 25th birthdayIt was my son's 25th birthday celebration. Table for five. The menu was fresh and approachable, the food flavorful and the atmosphere elegant but not stuffy. My filet was very tender and buttery. The desserts are truely amazing. They included appetizer tastes and a muffin to take home complimentary. Pricey but worth it for a special night.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMStand out restaurantI've been here for brunch and dinner & I love this place! First off, the drinks are unique and delicious. The bloody mary I had for brunch was one of the best I've ever had. I found it difficult to make a selection because everything sounded wonderful. In the end, everything I've tried has been great. Dishes are plated beautifully. One stand out is the service is very educated on the dishes & can give some feedback if you're debating on what to order. In general our waitresses have been very friendly and detailed, switching out a white napkin for black in order to prevent the white rubbing off on our black clothing etc. We also received a complimentary amuse bouche, dessert bite, and carrot muffins to go during our dinner experience on Sat.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMNot a big menu, but good diversity. Not a big menu, but good diversity. Food was good, except for sharing the all-too-common tendency to apply salt as though every diner really likes it, and its absence would be a sin against gastronomy. Good ambience, excellent server. Will go back and try to remember to say: skip the salt.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMTriniti Brunch is amazing!I already love Triniti, never had a bad dish there and brunch there was no exception. The bread basket was really delicious and worth paying for. Stand outs were the pound cake, biscuit and cinnamon roll. My monkey bread french toast was amazing... might be the best in the city. Very nice crunch on the outside and when you bit into it, luscious mascarpone cheese give the toast a creamy center. It had just the right amount of syrup so that it didn't get overly soggy. I ordered a perfectly cooked crispy side of bacon. Some friends brought their 2 yr old son & the staff was very accommodating and great with him. There were quite a few children there and it was nice to see such a nice restaurant be so relaxed with kids4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMI think this is my favoriteI think this is my favorite restaurant in Houston. The food is fantastic (fancy breakfast tacos - YUM!). Service is always friendly. I don't often go back to restaurants here because there are too many choices - but I've been to Triniti 5 times!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGetting to be one of my favorites.Getting to be one of my favorites. It was my first brunch there and had one of the specialty cocktails which was delicious. Had the scramble and some grits, all of which came out perfect. Decor is relaxing but energizing, and the staff is always on point.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went there for Easter brunch. We went there for Easter brunch. It was a bit pricey, but the food was very good. Service was very good and we enjoyed have the complimentary valet parking since it's hard to find a parking space in the area.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing beyond words! ChefAmazing beyond words! Chef Ryan has created a masterpiece. The brunch Benedict is a must have. Wine list can stand against the best. Bartenders are creative and host Jessica is the friendliest girl next door you'll ever want to meet. My favorite is the happy hour. Can't believe the prices.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe got the Chef's SelectionWe got the Chef's Selection and absolutely loved it. Our waiter, Fred, was great. I loved the decor as well. They even made it special for our anniversary. The only drawback was that the booths weren't very comfortable.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI thought the food was absolutelyI thought the food was absolutely incredible, the ambience and service were similarly great.
