A word from Triniti
With a nod to the culinary triad of sweet, savory and spirits, Executive Chef Ryan Hildebrand and a stellar lineup of culinary talent have banded together to create Triniti, a progressive American restaurant featuring "California French" cuisine. French techniques, light-handed, focusing on the highest quality ingredients available. Joining Hildebrand in the kitchen are Chef de Cuisine Greg Lowry and Sous Chef, Brandon Soverall and, at the front of the house,Wine Director, Stephanie Perkins and Assistant Manager Sawyer BUnyard.

The restaurant, unlike any other in Houston in both cuisine and design, represents an artistic outlet for all involved. Much attention has been paid to the details – inside and out – from the food, cocktails, open kitchen, commissioned artwork and custom chandeliers, to the tree-lined patio and chef's garden.

Four of us went before a performance to try the fall menu. It was very good and had a lot of new options. One friend ordered the smoked duck and thought it was outstanding. Another ordered the pork cassoulet and though it was not "traditional" he thought it was good. We had the chicken and the sommelier selected a very nice (yet inexpensive) Grenache for us to share. The new bar is lovely but we did not have time to enjoy it this time.

Beautiful decor, great lighting, easy access with valet parking. Menu is a new experience for most but is NYC expensive. Service is good, but one detects a hint of "you are so fortunate to be here, arrogance". Weeknight dinner experience not busy, so servers and kitchen not the least challenged. Have booked a brunch experience for a Sunday, to gain more insight.

When guests from foodie cities come to town, Triniti is where we take them to show them that Houston's food scene rivals that of New York, DC, etc. The food is amazing, beautifully presented, and perfectly apportioned. The create your own drink concept at the bar was very successful with the most recent group we entertained at Triniti. Ask Wenston for something soigne, and you'll be delighted with your drink! Truly one of a kind, and he'll give you the recipe that he's made up on the spot, if you like. All around a fabulous place.

Went there with my girlfriend for dinner and we were blown away by the great service. The drinks were good, priced around $13. As far as food is concerned, I got the blackstrap, priced around $35 if I remember correctly. For the price, the food wasn't all the great/tasty/enough. Ya it looked really good for pictures, but I walked away hungry... I ended up chowing down on the bread because I was so hungry despite eating my entire meal. Service is great, nice ambience, but if you're hungry, this isn't the place for you.

Although our food was the standout, the staff, the drinks, and even the management, all added up the single best dining experience anyone in our party had ever had. Picky eaters, vegetarians, and omnivores, we all left raving. I wouldn't change a thing.

We have been to Triniti for brunch but never thought about it for dinner....all that changed. The food was amazing- unexpected techniques for our dishes elevated the taste and overall evening: Cold smoked Caesar salad, panacotta mushroom dish, and more. Service was good for it being a busy night. Drinks were fantastic, inventive, and delicious (disclosure: we were there for a pop-up cocktail event, so this isn't a reflection of sanctuari, yet). Improvements we'd like to see: Warm the bread before it comes out (if possible). And that's it. It was truly a fantastic meal from start to finish and we'll be recommending and returning.

my family and i are vegetarian and we had a lot of options to choose from, as there is a vegetable tasting menu that is fully vegetarian. we didn't opt for the tasting menu, as it was 6 courses, but did order items a la carte from it. i really liked the vibe of triniti and the novelty of the food (one of the dishes we ordered was a mushroom panna cotta), but it isn't a restaurant i would go to food their food specifically; it was more of a visual experience for me than a gastronomic one, but then again, i wasn't that hungry when we went.

We had a great dinner for four and the food was fantastic, as we've come to expect from Triniti. Tonight, however, the service was "off". First, the wait staff switched around every course (i.e. tried to deliver my food to my husband, etc.). This was not so bad for the 1st 2 courses, since it was obvious that sweetbreads are not beets, and vice versa. But for the dessert, it was a major problem because my daughter and her husband nearly finished off my greatly anticipated warm chocolate dessert before we realized that we had their praline crunch dessert (and vice versa). Also, we saw no sign of our wait person during the main course, when we would have liked a refill on the teeny tiny bread service (same size for 4 at our table as for 2)

Very inventive dishes. The waiter explained that all produce is in season, and all the fish and seafood offerings were fresh. I ordered the King Crab legs ($32). Sounds like a reasonable price. Well, it was one crab leg (about 2" diameter, roughly 5" long, shelled). The side dish was eggplant, with two pyramid pasta noodles. Even though the portion of crab was enough, I still felt slighted in terms of value. I guess I expected a little more than that, but I don't price crab often. I will say it was very very good! The gnocchi dish my husband ordered ($22) was very good as well - very robust flavors, and seemed to be a larger portion. Overall I loved the food -seemed pricey however for the amount you get. I would go for a special occasion.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience and would defiantly recommend this place. The creative drinks were great, the food was good and the ambiance was lovely. My only suggestion about be improving the service. Our server was slow to return to our table but overall not a bad experience.

From beginning to end Triniti was a lovely dining experience. The vegetable tasting menu chosen by two of our party of three was a gratifying choice....beautifully presented and tasty. The amuse bouches (sp?) were delightful and even the take-home scone in it's cellophane wrapper was nicely presented and delicious. The wait staff were friendly and well- informed about the menu choices. They explained every element of the tasting menu as it came out of the kitchen. All of the food was served on contemporary white china.....allowing the colors and shapes of the foods and sauces to double as edible art work. I wish every restaurant served on white china. We had a lovely dining experience and plan to return soon.

This restaurant has been on my radar for awhile. My friend and I decided to go to an early dinner as we had tickets for a show downtown. We were tempted by several items on the menu but decided to try the vegetarian tasting menu. From soup to dessert, this was a memorable meal. We loved the variety of courses, the taste, the amount of food. Each dish had its own charm. The soup course featured an amazing spicy bowl of tomato soup wchich featured apimento cheese kolache resting in the sea of tomato soup. Perfection. I lost count of the courses but the servings were small but perfect. The waiter was cordial and helpful and described each plate and was able to answer all of our questions.
