A word from Triniti
With a nod to the culinary triad of sweet, savory and spirits, Executive Chef Ryan Hildebrand and a stellar lineup of culinary talent have banded together to create Triniti, a progressive American restaurant featuring "California French" cuisine. French techniques, light-handed, focusing on the highest quality ingredients available. Joining Hildebrand in the kitchen are Chef de Cuisine Greg Lowry and Sous Chef, Brandon Soverall and, at the front of the house,Wine Director, Stephanie Perkins and Assistant Manager Sawyer BUnyard.

The restaurant, unlike any other in Houston in both cuisine and design, represents an artistic outlet for all involved. Much attention has been paid to the details – inside and out – from the food, cocktails, open kitchen, commissioned artwork and custom chandeliers, to the tree-lined patio and chef's garden.

It was an eight course tasting menu and really every dish was delicious from the cream of espanol, beet salad, foie gras and shrimp!   • "I booked this restaurant for my friend's Bachelorette dinner. They accommodated a table of 12 very easily. The service from the staff was AMAZING. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was very kind and respectful to everyone at the table. I ordered the baby lamb and it was cooked perfectly to my preference. Splitting the check among 12 girls was not a hassle. The restaurant congratulated my friend and brought us a dessert to share. In addition to that, they made individually wrapped scones for us to have for breakfast the next day. They really went out of their way to make this day special for my friend. Complimentary valet service made this place so hassle free. I will definitely be back!"

  • "This was our first trip. We got their early and started with bar bites and drinks, which were a surprsingly good deal and big. We split a 30 oz. bone-in ribeye and it was great. It came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The potatoes were very good, but the collard greens were out of this world. The best we've had outside of South Louisiana. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. We will be going back."

  • "Great menu, creative, well executed, excellent presentation! Service is pretty bad. The waiter hurried us for orders even though the restaurant was half-full and we arrived two hoursw before closing); bus persons took our plates several times prior to our finishing a course (with food still on plates!) without asking whether wev were finished; bus persons asked twice more to take our plates with food still on them; waiter brought check before taking a dessert order. The poor service is due to training from restaurant managers. If this service is planned then managers and owners need a refresher course from a hotel/restaurant school in how to serve tables."

  • "Fine food to had here, that's for sure, and a good wine list. Two downsides: (1) the seating is all hard wood with zero cushions, so plan to eat quickly before it becomes painful; and (2) the place is busy enough that your waiter may sometimes neglect you."

  • "It is only a few blocks from my house, and I had never been there. I went in the other night, and was totally suprised. Not only by the wonderful NY style decor, but the friendliness of the staff, I never felt as if they were rushing me, and they we so friendly, it made me want to come back a lot. The food was excellent, and some of which I tried for the first time, and was not dissapointed."

  • "Triniti had no crowd at all on Sunday night, granted my reservation was around 9:30 p.m. Two of the three cocktails were really good. The appetizers were amazing, especially the sweetbreads. The entrees were average, actually, the duck left a lot to be desired. The service was impeccable and our waitress was knowledgeable and appeared happy to do her job."

  • "This place never disappoints. Even the bread they provide at the beginning of the meal was delicious. We had the beet salad, a special steak with cauliflower done several ways and then bone marrow mashed potatoes on the side. It was all outstanding. We will definitely go back. This is one of the best restaurants in Houston hands down. The only issue that I would mention, is that we were sat at a table under some sort of vent that ended up dripping on us. When we pointed it out, the waiter said something like "yeah, it does that". The restaurant was fairly empty with only about 4-5 tables full at the time. If you know there is a table where people get dripped on, then why not avoid that table when you have dozens of other options?"

  • "We went late on a Sunday night, and it was quiet. We had excellent service for a romantic anniversary dinner. She got a perfectly cooked filet with bone marrow mashed potatoes and collard greens, and I got the halibut with crab tamale. Accompanied by great bottle of wine and tasty desserts, it was a dinner to remember."

We had the chance to go back for dinner this past weekend -- it was even more enjoyable.   • "I took myself to Triniti for a birthday brunch and I had a wonderful dining experience. I tried the pre fixe brunch menu and I am so glad that I did. The grits, the french toast, the bouchon were simply fantastic!!! My waiter Chris was delightful and attentive without being over bearing. The staff was equally just as friendly. I wasn't a big fan of the scone but that' b/c I don't like raisins. I am definitely going to return and bring friends!!!!"

Food was very nicely presented and exactly as ordered. Filet was very good and properly cooked. Lobster had a unique preparation. Pricing was perhaps a bit on the high end range but not overly so. I would recommend and go back."

Fantastic choice...each dish was a gem and the wine pairings were flawless. In particular, the scallop was perfectly cooked and the beef course really flavorful. We'll be back."

  • "Wonderful. From the stunning yet modest ambience to the incredible food, everything was a win. The staff was friendly and offered some fantastic suggestions when asked. Although we could have chose the tasting menu, we decided the standard menu was the way to go. I ordered the lamb and Michael got the New York Strip with a few sides. We couldn't have been happier. The food was seasoned to perfection and cooked to order. The wine that Stephanie recommended worked well with both dishes and was tasty for the price. Michael was then brought a surprise birthday drink! When we asked about a sherry that was not on the menu, our server asked around found it hiding out at the bar. AMAZING! We will definitely be going back."

  • "I was visiting my parents from NJ and had picked Triniti for a Father's Day brunch after a little internet research. When we got there, we all thought the atmosphere was great. It was a little too cold for our taste but our waiter tried to see what he could do for us. We all ate from the prix fixe brunch menu. With there being 4 of us, we were able to order all the different items and get a little taste of everything! The food was delicious! The portions were the perfect size. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. Especially the grits! They did bring out the wrong item for my friend twice, but the tAste of the food surpassed the little hiccup. Plus there's no way we would get bottomless mimosas for such a great price like that in NJ!"

  • "Double date on Saturday night 730, prime time. Service was really good. Flow of the dish delivery was well timed. The chairs could use cushions. Everyone at my table was pleased with all of their dishes. Crawfish bisque, poured table side was really salty, but I like salty, so I was pleased with the overall flavor.My wife doesn't like salt and she was pleased too.Go figure.Good dish. Caesar salad featured cold smoked romaine lettuce. This was one of my favorite taste experiences of the night. It was a new twist (for me) on an old favorite and it really worked. Smoke flavor with the dressing and fried white sardines was great. Rack of lamb was good, not great. Halibut was a hit with 2 of our party's diners. Deserts were all REALLY good."

  • "My husband and I both ordered the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Each dish was very unique and the servers did a fantastic job of explaining each dish as it was delivered. Of the 8 courses, 7 were amazing with only one being average which is very impressive given the variety of plates we had that evening. The service is tops at Triniti, we had no less than 4 staff members attending to us yet never felt rushed or that we were being bothered by them. The servers were extremely knowledgeable about not only each dish but also about the wine they had paired with each. Impressed all the way around. The only reason I rated them down on ambiance is the chairs are wood and not comfortable at all; other than that, a perfect evening."

  • "The restaurant itself is beautiful, well designed and airy, giving an sense of openess in a small but well laid out space. The staff on entry were very pleasant however, the service beyond that was not what I would have expected given the presentation of the location. After arriving I informed the restaurant that my companion was running late, to which I was asked if I wanted to be seated, great so far, however, I sat in the bar and lounge area for a further 15 minutes without one member of staff asking me if I wanted a drink while I waited. I did get a couple of glances from people who then went on their merry way. The food itself was good, if a little bland however the grits were the best I have every had and I am NOT a fan of grits."

  • "We were excited to try the brunch at Triniti having read many good things about it in various publications. And while we are glad we went, we won't be adding it to our rotation of brunch spots. For starters, we split the "bakery basket"--in our case a cinnamon roll, a cinnamon raisin scone and a raspberry iced donut. They were each pretty tasty and a better value at $10 than $4 apiece. Our entrees tasted good, but for $15, I expected more than a Grand-sized biscuit for the Chicken Fried Biscuit. And certainly more of the chorizo gravy than came atop it. While I don't want to walk away from brunch overly full, for one of the first times I could remember, I walked away still a little hungry. But just wasn't willing to order another"

  • "Food was honestly just OK, maybe I did not try enough items, evening was sort of spoiled by the salty, I don't really care attitude of the waiter, at least have a decent attitude, they were not packed but he seemed to rush everything and they were rushing us out as 5 people in 5-7 mins came trying to clear our plates away even though it was obvious we still had food, the waiter did not seem to have much wine knowledge either "

  • "We had an amazing corn chowder to start! The smoked oyster was the shining star of the dish :) I had the prime burger....juicy, delicious, quality bread. My companion had the chicken and thought it was divine. The service was impeccable throughout the meal, as well. The menu has fewer items than I expect, but they are of good quality. I would definitely eat here again, but probably not regularly due to lack of choices."

  • "Considering the brunch menu and great deals on summer drinks and mimosas, I was surprised not to see the restaurant full. however, the service and food were fantastic. just a little disappointed they did not have the Butternut Quiche that day, but the Huckleberry Pancakes and Scramble that I shared with a friend were delicious. the pre-brunch pastries are also not to be missed, everything from a cinnamon scone to a passion fruit donut and more! "
