A word from Triniti
With a nod to the culinary triad of sweet, savory and spirits, Executive Chef Ryan Hildebrand and a stellar lineup of culinary talent have banded together to create Triniti, a progressive American restaurant featuring "California French" cuisine. French techniques, light-handed, focusing on the highest quality ingredients available. Joining Hildebrand in the kitchen are Chef de Cuisine Greg Lowry and Sous Chef, Brandon Soverall and, at the front of the house,Wine Director, Stephanie Perkins and Assistant Manager Sawyer BUnyard.

The restaurant, unlike any other in Houston in both cuisine and design, represents an artistic outlet for all involved. Much attention has been paid to the details – inside and out – from the food, cocktails, open kitchen, commissioned artwork and custom chandeliers, to the tree-lined patio and chef's garden.

Diner Reviews
  • "The food was good but not great. The service was good but not great. Don't let the "5-course brunch" fool you - the 1st course is a beverage and the second course was the smallest scone I've ever seen. Third course, cheesy grits, was the best item. Fourth item, Triniti's version of eggs benedict, was only fair. About 1/2 the size of a typical eggs benedict portion. Fifth item, ice cream sundae, was two small scoops of ice cream with less than a handful of berries, so I'm not sure how this can be called a sundae. Overall it was a 3 1/2 star experience. Not bad, not great - somewhere in the middle. Would I go back again? Probably not."

  • "We tried vegetarian tasting menu which was great, including wine pairing. Service was ok, bit chaotic but very friendly staff. We will go back here."

  • "Our meal was exceptional: Baby lamb from New Zealand and Striped Bass. Portion size was terrific, not too much, not too little. The bass came in a plastic bag, snipped upon serving, keeping the fish hot and juicy. The rack of lamb was delicious, with a sprinkling of pea gnocchi. For dessert we went with the sodachi semifreddo - something we had never heard of before. Delicious. The dessert came out on this enormous plate and took up 1/8 of it. Despite the appearance, it was the perfect portion. We had to ask our waitress a lot of questions. Example: "foie powder"? You will most likely end up leaving having tried something for the first time. The amuse bouche, pralines, and wrapped scones were welcome surprises throughout the meal."

  • "We lucked out and had the best waiter in the restaurant, Jase! The attention to detail all the way from the service to the food to the restaurants decor was impeccable. Even the bussers and runners had their jobs down to a science. Triniti greatly surpassed our expectations."

  • "My wife and I went for a special night out, and we both found the food to be outstanding. I had the tomato small dish and the halibut, and my wife had two small dishes. The tropical parfait at the end was really great. We especially liked the way they combine different flavors and textures, which makes the food memorable. Our experience was somewhat undermined by the staff, who seemed to rush us through our meal. The ran off with our bread bowl before we were done, and one of them even tried to take my wife's dinner plate when she was still eating! I have never experienced that kind of treatment at such an expensive restaurant (entrees above $40). I wonder, did anyone else encountered this problem?"

  • "The dining experience was very good. The wait at the bar got us off to a very poor start. The service at the bar was very slow and unfriendly. However, once we got to our table, things turned around. Our waiter was good and the food was quite nice."

  • "My husband and I got the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairings. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented, served at a perfect temperature and perfect portion size. We will definitely be back!"

  • "We did the 8 course tasting menu and had wonderful food. The wine pairings went well with the food too. At the end we were full but not stuffed. All the food was of local origin to top things off."

  • "I had the five-course and my husband ate a la carte and every bite was delicious! Waitstaff was very attentive. The music was just a bit loud, but excellent. Great ambiance. The price of the meal was very reasonable. Triniti serves some of the best coffee in Houston! We'll be back!"

  • "A group of about 10 girlfriends and I enjoyed the price fixed brunch on Sunday. Everything was delicious, the live music was a great touch and for the most part the service was quick and friendly. The only thing that disappointed my group is that we partially went there for the "bottomless mimosas" but they did indeed have bottoms. Perhaps they were losing too much profit on our on our large group, but the carafes of mimosas disappeared from our table towards the the middle of our meal and we had to pester to have our glasses refilled. Other than that, I would recommend it and I myself hope to return to try their dinner menu. Nice spot!"

  • "I have wanted to go here for a while and am glad we finally wen for my birthdayt! The food was almost perfect and the waiter was very kind and helpful. The size of the small plates we ordered were as big as our main plates. They were both small/medium sized and I'm glad we each ordered 1 of each. We still had room to split a dessert after too!"

  • "The menu is changed seasonally. Trying to figure out where to go on Friday night, we decided on Triniti. We were very happy. The squash and kale appetizers were fantastic. The squash appetizer was a trio of roasted squash with quinoa. The kale was servied in a kalamata vinegarette wiith pancetta and anchovy. Best appetizers I've had in months. The Atlanta Char and Escolar fish dishes were incredible."

  • "The food is quite good except for the Agnolotti which is pan fried and crispy and thus tastes not wonderful. Ordering this dish is a mistake. Otherwise the food is lovely and the service was wonderful. The cocktails and wine are divine. My friend's duck and my mother's steak were perfectly prepared. The squashes appetizer was extraordinary as was the corn soup. Would definitely recommend to a couple or colleague entertaining an important client. The check for three people each of whom had an appetizer, dinner and dessert plus 2 glasses of wine and 2 cocktails (4 drinks total) came to just under $250.00 so keep that in mind. This is upscale dining in a very current setting."

  • "I took my wife for our 18th anniversary and we both had a wonderful experience at Triniti. Food and wine parings were phenomenal. Service was quite professional."

  • "I had a great experience at Triniti in December, but this past weekend was just okay. This is a VERY noisy restaurant no matter where you sit, so if you are trying to have a conversation or have any trouble with background noise, think twice. Also, our service was very slow - I didn't feel like they had enough waitstaff for our area. For a rather expensive restaurant, that was disappointing. Most in our group liked their food."

  • "The Santo Sangre was the best cocktail I have ever had!! The tasting menu was an excellent experience. For me, 5 was enough, but I would have like to try the 8. The lamb and cabbage appetizer was phenomenal. I can still taste it!"

  • "First off, the food was fantastic. Great presentation, very inventive use of ingredients, never too heavy or overwhelming... all excellent. The part that really got me was that I really wanted an 8 course dinner and my wife wanted the 5 course. I can eat more and the dishes sounded more appealing to me. No... not going to happen. Apparently, to allegedly protect our dining experience, they only want you to have the same. So, instead of us both getting 8 course dinners and clearly spending more money, we both got a 5 course dinner. That's less of a dining experience for us and probably an $80 difference in the bill. That's also a lower tip from me since I was not feeling as generous since I could not order what I wanted to order."

  • "I was really disappointed by my first dining experience at Triniti and I have had this urge to leave a few observations down. My wife's birthday falls on the day before Valentine and is our tradition, we usually have Valentines dinner at our favorite restaurant and try a new place on her birthday. This year I settled on Triniti. Things I liked: Food was very good, Ambience was tasteful Things I disliked: Dining seating was uncomfortable and bar service was very unequal. There are not enough characters to share the sequence of events that transpired with the bar but to summarize they were extremely unhelpful after it was brought to their attention how they had served me two identical drinks one after the other yet HALF the volume in one."

  • "Triniti is ridiculously overpriced for mediocre food. They're obviously overcharging their customers to pay for the fancy decor. We left still hungry. There are much better restaurants in Houston."

  • "Went on Saturday night (night after Valentine's Day). Reservations for 7, seated promptly. Ordered the 5 course tasting - each course was excellent, thoughtful design, excellent preparation, visually pleasing, properly served. Cauliflower soup, kale salad with egg, risotto with pork belly, duck and desert - all excellent. First class service, knowledgeable and unhurried. First time visit and will absolutely return."

  • "I had been wanting to try Triniti for a while, so I decided to go for Valentines Day. I had to make reservations a month in advance, but it was worth it! There was a pre-determined 6-course meal. I had never done anything like this, but it was amazing! The waiters were very helpful in describing what each plate contained. I got to experience dishes that I never had before. The entrees included the amazing stuffed and grilled lobster, duck meatballs and noodles, quail, and (my favorite) filet mingon. The appetizers were a little unique for me, but the strawberry and chocolate dessert was pretty delicious. Great portions of each dish and I would recommend for anyone to experience this great restaurant."

  • "We dined on Valentine's Day when there was a special fixed prix menu and chose to add wine pairings. Each course was creative and delicious and the wine pourings were very generous. I am a pescatarian which they accommodated and they honored our request for as quiet as possible table. We could easily enjoy conversation. It may have been noisy if seated elsewhere but it was Valentine's Day and a full crowd."
