Trilussa RistoranteHomemade Pasta to die forWent there for Mothers Day dinner with my son. We both had the lasagna and loved it. The shrimp scampi appetizer was a great starter. I was full but got the tiramisu to go! Great evening and would return.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNever a complaintAs an Italian I am always very critical of Italian eateries, but we love Trilussa and are always very happy with our food choices and service. The food is prepared wonderfully and always fresh, hot and delicious. They have a great selection of wines and bar drinks are very well made. The atmosphere is very nice and they have a great little duo that sings old time favorites and really adds to the wonderful ambience. Make sure to visit this gem in Cathedral City. It's worth it.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food and great serviceDelicious food and great service at reasonable prices5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA New FindFor the first time we tried Trilussa and now wonder why we waited so long. Excellent food and service. We were a party of four celebrating a birthday. The waitress made it a very special evening without any advance notice. We all had very different entrees and of course had to share a bite from others here and there. Everything delicious but in my opinion (if you're not watching your waistline) go for the Pasta Carbanara!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Italian. In town with friends and they said let' s do Italian. Not knowing the area, I quickly went to Open Table, checked reviews and instantly made a reservation. Our friends, Italian by descent, were very impressed. My wife and I were stationed in Italy wit the Air Force for several years in the late 60's. We chose a table on he patio . Our waiter, Jorge, was very attentive and gave great service. We began the meal with Caesar salads. As good as they get! We had various pastas, linguini with clams and muscles, lasagne, etc. all were different and all were excellent. They offer a complimentary sorbet and after dinner sambucca. The owner stopped by our table and we had a nice discussion. My impression, you cannot go wrong here.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ate on the patio, the foodWe ate on the patio, the food and service was very good. However, I felt cheated when we ordered the shaved parmesan & kalamata olives appetizer and were only served 3 olives.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMTrulussa is a consistentlyTrulussa is a consistently good restaurant. We have never been disappointed with it.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAs always, we had a greatAs always, we had a great experience. The food was exceptional and the service met all of our needs. The only negative is the noise level. Some of our party was a bit hard of hearing and it was difficult to have a good conversation. I think I'll request a booth next time and see if it is better.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce again a wonderful familyOnce again a wonderful family dinner with the whole family!!!! The menu was varied, both in food choices and price. Service was excellent making the experience one we would recommend to others.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMItalian al frescoGenerous portions of good food, attentive service. One of the best spots for outdoor dining--no traffic noise, and a lovely view of the mountains. Our group was treated to a complimentary after dinner liqueur and biscotti--nice touch!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place, it is ourLove this place, it is our very favourite restaurant in the Cathedral City/Palm Springs area. The food is fabulous! Sammy was mingling that night, suggested an entree and it was wonderful.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMTrilussa did not disappointTrilussa did not disappoint with its homemade pasta and marinara sauce. The Alfredo sauce also exceeded expectations. Service was somewhat off probably due to spring break crowd. However, our waiter worked hard to overcome this problem. Ambiance tended to be directed to an older crowd with the entertainment supplied by some octogenarians, who were quite accomplished. Overall, the experience was worthwhile. Even our 7 and 10 year grandchildren enjoyed themselves.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had visited this restaurantWe had visited this restaurant 2 years ago and because one of our group really was ready for a good Italian meal we chose to return because of the location.

Great Italian food with options for our vegan and vegatarian friends. Good service.2/23/2013 12:00:00 AMSenior set displays dining wisdomFood was great, service was excellent, pours were generous. We hit this place in the middle of snowbird season and were the youngest people in the room. Given that we are empty-nesters, this is somewhat unusual. Live music was talented playing classic 40's-60's sets. Here for half marathon so dined early- atmosphere may change later in the evening.2/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGive your review a title (optional)This was our first visit and will not be our last!
