Interesting Food, Unusual CocktailsWe went to Trillium with a group of 8, and everyone enjoyed the dinner. The menu is quite different, featuring a Swedish influence with lots of seafood, which was all good. Some of our party also had pork chops and steak and were all deemed good to great. Most unusual, however, were the cocktails using various flavors of akavit. All together a new, different and very nice experience.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMgood food but too priceyThe food was good, but not excellent.
The cocktail was good.
I don't feel too much scandinavian theme in the food as it advertized.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodFood was fantastic. Everything ordered cooked perfectly5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMEclectic Trip NorthUnique and delicious dinner for two, contemporary with Nordic overtones, presentation lovely, service attentive. Really enjoyed trying new flavor combinations, redolent of briny, ocean climes. Oysters were amazing.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDate nightWe went last Saturday night for date night. Excellent food. Nice choices for wine. Easy to get to. Can't beat it. Go there!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMPlease last!Trillium is a MUST for anyone who loves food and is curious about Akavit! Then again, you don't even need to like Akavit to have some unbelievable food and even better service. My husband is a Sweed and Trillium delivered tastes from home without alienating those of us less interested in Raaka (it was amazing, order it). Matthew was our server and he was wonderful and never steered us in the wrong direction. And yes, the Akavit was a hit despite hesitations! They spend time infusing the Akavit with lemon, blueberry and or beet juice to bring the licorice flavouring down a tad. The interior is open and welcoming, tables are well spaced. Nice bar with hidef TVs too in case you want to watch the Rockies lose.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful evening overallI went to Trillium the other night with co-workers and other business associates and we all had a wonderful time. The ambiance is great, the food was wonderful and the service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend Trillium and hope to be back soon!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMMenu is unique, fun, imaginitive.Menu is unique, fun, imaginitive. Portions adequate, not overbearing.
Suggest not going during Rockies baseball games as parking virtually nonexistent.
Experience quite good.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMImpressed yet againThis was my second time dining at Trillium. As with the first time, I left very impressed. The service was exceptional. The food was incredible. My steak was cooked perfectly.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMKnowledgable and friendlyKnowledgable and friendly staff. Great service and delicious food! Desserts were fantastic! As a large group we were able to try almost everything on the small plates and dessert menu. Surprising combinations that we really loved--for example the carrot custard. I'm still craving the deep dish sugar cookie today!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNever a bad experienceWe have visited Trillium three times for dinner and have never had anything but fantastic meals. Our latest visit occurred during a Rockies night game which filled the neighborhood with people. Other than the expected parking challenge, we had a great experience among the crowds. (Get a reservations if there's a Rockies game!) The food was creative and delicious. Our party of 4 was prompted to take take bites from each others plates to share the glorious tastes.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMA very good dining experience! The food was great! Creative a with well thought out flavor profiles. I had a few of the smorgasbord. The air cured beef tenderloin was absolutely wonder and the mustard side is brought this home as my favorite. My husband had the New York and it came cooked perfectly medium rare. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. A very good dining experience.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great experience!Always a great experience! Great food - I had the cured beef tenderloin to start and the open ravioli with prawns as my entree. Very unique, deconstructed take. Less impressed with dessert but will still absolutely be going back.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers DayGreat food choices. We will be back!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent MealIt's been more than a few years since I've been out for fine dining. Trillium was the perfect place for a return to the excellent dining Denver has to offer. I like that they offer tapas size portions along with appetizers and the main meal. It allowed us an opportunity to sample many different flavors while not leaving uncomfortably full. The portions are ample enough. The restaurant has a good energy about it and wasn't too loud for conversation at out table. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious!!!! Crisp, flavorful, bright, and fresh are the immediate words that I'd use to describe the dishes. A great way to return to the fine dining in Denver. Thanks for a lovely evening Trillium!!!!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Service, Good Food but.......The service was excellent, attentive and responsive. The food was good with a few standouts. The beet salad was amazing but the steak was just okay. The restaurant looks good but it is very loud and difficult to talk during dinner.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI love you SmorgasbordGreat! Great service, even better food. Main dishes look delish! But I and your taste buds will concur after, spend your money on multiple small plates and Smorgasbord/Tapas plates, no regrets I promise. Although heard that steak is tops, but...I stll rather try 4 new dishes to one.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was wonderfully preparedThe food was wonderfully prepared and very flavorful. We will be back!Blessings, Nan3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique Dining in DenverMy husband and I tried Trillium during Restaurant Week and loved it! We took our foodie friends back so they could experience this restaurant and they were similarly impressed. The food is unique and perfectly prepared. Our server was knowledgeable and timed our courses so that we had just enough time in between each course. We never felt rushed, nor did we feel like the kitchen was backed up. Boompa's Swedish Pancakes are a "must order" for dessert! Trillium has definitely been added into our rotation of favorite restaurants!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMTrillium took my expectations,Trillium took my expectations, then blew them out of the water. The waitstaff had perfect timing, and made wonderful recommendations. If I could give them more stars, I would! I will be back.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMMust experienceFantastic! Different and refreshing. We should be proud to have a place like this in Denver.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMSecond time here and bothSecond time here and both times they have ranked as some of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. As a fellow service worker well done!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique and tasty. Wouldn'tUnique and tasty. Wouldn't change a thing. Also loved that they had several wines you could order by the half glass for exactly half the cost of a full glass rather than marking it up. Was tempted by the cocktail flight too. I'd definitely go back.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOur server recommended a coctailOur server recommended a coctail (Root of All Evil) and it was amazing - earthy, spicy, sweet; and the perfect start to our meal! Everything that followed was even more delicious, especially the foie gras mousse and the blue prawn ravioli. We are going back next week with our out-of-town guests.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good food. Waiter wasVery good food. Waiter was very informative which helped us select from the menu. Would definitely go back.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough we didn't know whatAlthough we didn't know what all the foods offered were, they were amazing! Everything was beautifully paired and served. The steak was the best we've had in years. Every bite was an amazing flavor.3/7/2013 12:00:00 AMA Class AboveFor our 1st 5280 dining experience, I ordered the Steelhead Trout Raaka, Foie Gras Mousse (extra), Steelhead Trout, and finished with Ginger Panna Cota. The Raaka was spectacular and melted in my mouth. The Foie Gras Mousse was more of a cheese texture than mousse and blended beautifully with the strawberry balsamic coulis. The main course Trout pan roasting gave a wonderful crunchy texture layer above the trout mixed with delightful winter veggie chowder. Every server was knowledgeable and a delight with servings timed perfectly. Spectacular and romantic!2/24/2013 12:00:00 AMMy go-to for cocktails. SuperMy go-to for cocktails.
