A word from Tribeca Tavern
TRIBECA TAVERN is a casual grill and bar that just so happens to have a state of the art audio/visual system. Great for the big game? Sure. Great for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch? Absolutely.
Our specialties are burgers, taken to the next level, accompanied by 20 North Carolina brewed draft beers. TRIBECA is more than burger joint though, with a fresh fun menu including appetizers, salads, soups, brick oven pizzas, steaks, seafood, pastas and fresh desserts.

Diner Reviews
  • "I am from out of town and liked the setting of this restaurant. I had the Soy Glazed Salmon which was extremely salty and over-seasoned. The waiter was a little inappropriate in my opinion with how casually he treated us... I expected a little more respect. But overall I would go back to this place again."

  • "The food was quite good but our waitress kept disappearing. We had a gift certificate and still have another visit tomorrow night. We will see if the service is better."

  • "Tribeca Tavern is fantastic! If you are looking for a great burger, go here! It's hands down one of the best burgers my husband and I have had in the area. We also love the fried pickles! The service is excellent, definitely a loud restaurant, and make a reservation!"

  • "I had a corporate lunch event here. The server and hostess were extremely helpful and flexible about seating and worked with the group to provide an enjoyable dining experience. The food was good (and mostly local!). Very recommended."

  • "Tribeca is one of our favorite places in the area for casual dining. We dine there once or twice per month and are always impressed by the quality of the food and service. On this occasion my wife was satisfied with her salad topped with salmon. I was disappointed in the chicken salad sandwich. The menu states the chicken salad contains walnuts and cut grapes. I couldn't find either in my sandwich. The chicken salad was chopped to mush with no discernable chicken chunks. The toasted bread was hard. It looked good upon serving but didn't pass the taste test. We will return to Tribeca because there are a lot of great menu items. Chicken salad isn't in my future, however."

  • "I gave this place a good rating only because the food is always great. We had a party of 7 for this visit and felt neglected most of dinner. We ordered an appetizer of pimento cheese dip which came with just enough bread pieces for each to have one. We asked for more and the waitress tried to take it all away instead. We had half a bowl left. We had to continually ask for drink refills. We stopped another waiter at one point for water and he acted like we were inconveniencing him. I would tell friends about the food with a warning of the service."

  • "I personally didn't like all of the children that were there, it obliviously is a family restaurant but not a great place to go be romantic, prices are very good for the quality of food, i would recommend but not if your trying to have a quite romantic evening."

  • "Great burgers but more than just a "burger joint". Good quality ingredients and most of the menu items I have ordered always been great. Ask for the burger menu, (it's a separate menu with various burgers that is not always on the table). They recently added the "throw momma from the train burger" and it was amazing. We typically take out of town friends here for a good middle of the road place to grab dinner and drinks and everyone always leaves full and happy."

  • "We had the spinach dip appetizer and it was awesome. The lunch portion was big and we could have split a sandwich. I will be back. The staff was great."

  • "Bad night out. Decided to take our parents there because we had had a good time the last time we were there. Our kids had kids pasta that was hard and dried out. They wouldn't eat it and we couldn't blame them so we asked for some toast. They burnt the toast and charged us $4 for the burnt toast. Didn't comp anything -- so we paid $16 for toast & fruit that they could eat. Ridiculous. We will NOT go back. My chicken strips were tiny & dried out as well. Terrible overall."

  • "Have eaten there several times but this latest experience was disappointing. Two of our meals didn't come out the way we ordered them: the steaks were under cooked, and chewy ; and a side dish was missing. It's also very loud because so many tables are crammed together to accommodate max amount of people. It does seem to be a hot spot though and I recommend a rez."

  • "Food was fresh and delicious. The home grown menu was delicious! Many delicious options. We will definitely go back to try other things. The buffalo chicken tacos were a fan favorite in our group!"

  • "I visit TriBeCa on a fairly regular bais and this last time, my party of 4 all expressed disappointment. The place was not as clean as previous visits, two water glasses needed to be switched out for floaters - no apology or concern offered. Wait staff was not familiar with menu items nor could they tell us what the fresh fish special was, how it was served or what it was served with. Wait staff was nice and always said if we needed anything, just ask...but he was very hard to track down. Food was just so so. A real disappointment but I will try again before crossing them off my list."

  • "I booked a reservation for an early dinner on Valentines Day. I was glad we decided to beat the crowd because the dining room had many empty tables. However we were seated on the patio that was a make-shift heated area with tables that weren't set-up for dinner (no utensils, dirty, cramped, etc...). I would've completely understood if it was crowded and/or we didn't have a reservation but that wasn’t the case. The table next to us decided to open the enclosure so we felt all of the 40 degree air. The food was average but the atmosphere didn't help. It seems very poorly managed but has potential. there's too many other choices for me to even think about going back to this place."

  • "It was a very pleasant dinner at a fairly reasonable price and very good service for a busy night. The pasta dish with shrimp and scallops was one of the best I've had recently. And I especially appreciated the split of prosecco!"

  • "We were there last Sunday and was a very nice time spent with the family. Hamburger are gorgeous and with a nice list f cheeses and also the bears list is quite interesting with a lot of local ones. Kinds menu id quite full of options and the portion in good. A nice place for a nice, lazy Sunday night!"

  • "We went to Tribeca to enjoy my birthday reward. Upon entering the restaurant, I heard that the wait time was 30-40 minutes. I was extremely pleased that I had made reservations! We did have to wait five minutes for our table, but I felt that was appropriate. Our waiter was friendly and kept our drinks refilled promptly. The only constructive criticism I have is that he did not check back to ask about our meals. I'm glad there were no problems with the food, or it would not have been easy to get it rectified. Overall, a very nice dining experience."

  • "Food is great. Really good. The wait staff is often blase and uninformed. If they improved this business would be better. We go there often since it is so close to my house, so it is a trend."

  • "We decided to try lunch at Tribeca, having dined on their delightful burgers in the past. We got the 3 slider special and these were just OK. The chicken wing one was on the dry side, the other two were decent but nothing special. The onion strings served with them were not crispy, more greasy. We also had one of the chef's burgers and it was very good as always. We will stick with the burgers in the future."

  • "My wife and I had a great visit during Triangle Restaurant Week. We were our servers first customers and she did a great job. She confirmed she had worked in another restaurant prior, and it showed. Great beer options from the Mash House."

  • "We went during restaurant week and the menu had good selections. The food was served quickly and the wait staff was very attentive. We have been to Tribeca many times and it is one of our favorites. The burgers are great and there are many sides to choose. You will not be disappointed."

  • "We went to this restaurant for the first time hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but we were not. The food is average. Our waitress was very nice. The drinks are so watered down that I do not recommend even ordering one. We sent some of our drinks back. Out of the 6 of us only two people enjoyed their meal."

  • "I can't say enough good things about the service my party received during our most recent dinner at Tribeca. Our server was so incredibly friendly, fast, and helpful. And it wasn't just him! Even the food runners were personable and made sure to ask if we needed anything (and seemed happy to ask). I would definitely suggest the crab dip - it's wonderful. Tried the veggie burger this trip and it was fabulous, too. Probably one of the best I've had in Cary. Absolutely recommend this restaurant to folks in the Cary area. Just make sure you make a reservation because they're often packed (and for good reason)."

  • "A great upper-scale type tavern food. Make sure you have your reservations, as they are always busy. Great food with a great wait staff always watching for your needs, even with the big group of 8 we had!"

  • "This Tribeca Tavern was much quieter than the one across town. Noise was my only complaint regarding the other one but we liked the food so we tried this one and we're glad we did."

  • "It seems to have lost a step. Initially, our first few visits were outstanding. The last couple, not so much. Unfortunate."

  • "Tribeca has been my favorite restaurant in Cary for years! If it's up to me to decide where my friends and I eat, it is Tribeca every time. Their burgers are to die for, and I love the outdoor seating upstairs. The food can be a little pricey, but I've never been disappointed."

  • "We had a family group of 7. They gave us a large round table away from the noise. It was perfect for our gathering. The service was the star. Our server made sure every order was correct, gave us the time to socialize and really made it amemorable experience. The food is aleays great here. Pretty much higher end comfort food with some unique flare. We highly recommend for groups."

  • "Went with another couple, dinner on Saturday night. I made reservations, but I probably didn't need them. They were busy enough, but not slammed. Service was excellent, the Garlic Herb Chicken Wings and Buffalo Ranch Dip were absolutely amazing! Just the right amount of spice; everyone at the table loved them. The beer is good. My favorite was the Mash House Red. The menu has a nice varied selection, but I couldn't resist the hamburgers. They were just too enticing! They support our local farms too! Overall a great find. Cons- Super Hard Pretzels, it's a good idea but ultimately a disappointment. A bit loud for me, not unbearable Pros- Great food Engaged and helpful service Comfortable environment Ingredients sourced locally"

  • "We always enjoy dining at Tribeca and this visit was no exception. My fish and chips were very good as was my wife's turkey Reuben. We were seated at a booth as requested when making the reservation which allowed some privacy in an otherwise lively restaurant."

  • "I requested for a spot away from traffic and we were indeed given a perfect spot. They had great beer and cheese selection. They also had items for our vegetarian coworker. The food was great. Our server was awesome and interactive, giving us suggestions too."
