Service on this visit was very good. Food items were well prepared and some adjustments were made as requested. French fries need improvement. The addition of plain baked potatoes or even steak fries to the menu would be good. The addition of some healthy prepared vegetables would be great.

The restaurant was only half full and we requested a booth beside the kitchen area as the AC vents do not blow on them, which bothers my wife. There were two booths available and the floor manager declined to let us sit there saying we would be fine at another table, my wife was not fine. I asked that my burger not be burned as is sometimes the case, it arrived charred black on the bottom. Half of the french fries were burned, and they were all greasy. Service was erratic and intermittent, iced tea glasses were refilled with no ice, asked that the TV channel at our table be changed and it never was. The booth we requested when we were seated remained empty the entire time during our hour long dining experience.

I have been to TT many times over the years and I have to say that lately it is "hit or miss" as far as the food is concerned. I ordered the chef salad and it was mostly greens with only bits and pieces of meat, bacon and cheese, but it did have one boiled egg and one avocado. I have never been to a restaurant that scimped so badly on a chef salad. The cost was $12 and it had to be nearly all profit. Needless to say I will NEVER order that again!!!

6th visit - arrived at 7:20 for our reservation & the host/hostess knew who we were upon our announcement!! We were immediately seated & within 2-4 minutes we had ordered bev's. & app's. (wings - fantastic, & fried green tom's. - fantastic). There were 7 special burger meals (all different) & everything arrived within a timely manner & piping hot! Having alerted our waitress of my wifes birthday; upon main course completion, she cleared the table & returned with 2 big brownies/ice cream (topped with a burning candle. We passed the sinful thing around the table until it disappeared. The only thing we had to request was extra ice for our bev's. Other than that our birthday burgers were great & the service was outstanding! C U next time!

Met for a small annual birthday dinner with friends. They were very impressed. Portion sizes - great, steaks tasted great. Highly recommend the toasted sesame crusted tuna dinner salad. The table side TV's may be a bit distracting but ended the evening turning it on to"Seinfield". Very kid/family friendly, the noise factor was very low - very, very nice for a change. Waitress was very attentive, server got our plate orders correct and in front of the right person. Beverage refills were not over looked. The cushions in our booth need to be re-stuffed... maybe that applies to all the booth seating. Overall a very good experience. My two guy friends said they would most definitely return. (so would I). thanks Tribeca- Raleigh

I have been to Tribeca before, but this visit was a first for most of our group. The menu was varied and our waitress seemed happy to please special requests. The employees were so nice and we all had a good time. I asked the group's opinion and based on what I heard... we will be back.

  • Very dry pulled pork

This is my 2nd visit to the restaurant, with the first being on Mother's Day. On 07/05/2014, we decided to eat at Tribeca Tavern because they have a nice outside patio area and the weather was beautiful. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich and enjoyed it. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was horribly dry and had no taste to it whatsoever. I had to soak the pulled pork in the bbq sauce to get a little moisture and flavor. I would not recommend the pulled pork to anyone. I was very disappointed. This is the worst pulled pork that I have had in NC.

We made a reservation online because most of the reviews mentioned a long wait. We went on a Wednesday and the reservation was not needed. The restaurant started to get a lot busier after 7pm, we had arrived closer to 6. Our server was great and helpful, I did have to ask for the secret menu but she had it ready for me. Great food and an awesome kids menu selection, the sides are so good, we will be back.

We've dined here plenty of times, but had poor and very slow service during this visit (no food was brought to our table until 45 minutes after we sat down). My burger was overcooked, there was a broccoli stalk in the side dish for my kids, and I had to ask 3 times to get the TV in our booth to a channel that was appropriate for our young children. The managers came and spoke with us and tried to make amends, but it still was a disappointing dining experience.

  • 3 strikes...Tribeca is OUT
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 6/3/2014
My husband and I have given Tribeca on Falls 3 tries since they separated from Rocky Top Hospitality. On three different occasions we experienced painfully slow service. I blame the management and kitchen because each time our servers appeared to be on top of things. Tonight was the final straw. We had reservations for 7:00. We were seated at 7:10, placed our order before 7:20. At 7:45 we still had no salads or appetizers. 8:15 came and went with no entrees. The manager came to the table and apologized but placed blame on the server. I immediately told her that this wasn't the server's issue....if she was truly managing then she should be walking the floor and watching the kitchen, not conversing with the hostess up front. We won't return.

We go to Tribeca Tavern one to two times a year when we have a coupon. We are rarely disappointed with our choices. Their burgers might be the best part of their menu, especially if you ask to look at their extended burger menu. It is still tough to pay $10 to $15 for a burger, but I guess you also are paying for the individual TVs for each table (which we turn off each time). Service was good and we got refills quickly. I would recommend a reservation for sure.

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. The service was horrible, the manager was unprofessional, and they were out of simple things like ice cream (and there is a grocery store 100 yards away). Some if the food ordered was good, namely the calamari ap & the burger. The steak was thin and seasoned too heavily w salt.

We've been going to Tribeca Tavern Falls for several years. During the past few months, the restaurant seems to be going down hill. The menu has changed and the food isn't as good as it was before. During our last 3 visits, my husband has ordered the chicken burrito. The first time it was excellent! The past 2 times, the flavor has been OK, but it's been lukewarm at best. Really disappointing! Don't know what's going on, but something is missing.

Food and service are usually very good. On this visit we ordered the 9 oz. Tribeca Burgers. They were ordered Well and Medium-Well. However, both burgers were cooked Medium, pink to almost raw center. The burgers were also very greasy. Service was prompt and friendly, but plates and glasses were removed before we had finished with them without asking. The asparagus was excellent.

I and my hubby went to the Tirbeca Tavern to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was not what we expected. We dressed up and expected it to be the type of restaurant where you dressed in your nicer clothing, there were flat screen t.v.'s everywhere which was annoying - (so many that it was overkill) it was very noisy and our waitress wasnt very attentive or friendly - she was ok seemed to be in a hurry the whole time she served us. To be honest, I wouldnt mind going back for lunch or dinner with friends but my hubby doesnt plan to ever go back - in his opinion he said he could go many other places and get a fancy burger.

This time I had the fish tacos which were scrumptious but I had to order some sweet potato fries on the side because those are fantastic! As well as their prickle chips with redneck ketchup is perfect. It's a great place with friends, or a enjoyable date night. The drinks are rich and satisfying. Will be back again!

We were looking forward to a return trip to Tribeca. Unfortunately, it appeared they were having some issues. Bar service was so slow that we finally received our drinks just before the food was placed on the table. Our food was not even warm - had obviously been sitting. I ordered their new "throw Mama from the ...." burger and was looking forward to the balsamic caramelized onions on top; there was barely a teaspoon full of onions on the burger. The table next to us sent a taco plate back that was cold and did not reorder because the manager told them it would be a lengthy wait for a replacement. The woman wound up eating chips for her dinner. Not sure what was going on Friday night, but it will be awhile before we try it again.
