  • "I went to Tribeca Grill for my 3rd Anniversary dinner last night! I was so happy to have picked this place for me and my husband's special night. From the service, food to the ambience - everything was to the perfection. We went to Eleven Madison for our 1st anniversary, Le Bernardin for our second - Fo our 3rd year, I thought why not take advantage of restaurant week and try Tribeca Grill, somewhere I have been meaning to go to. I don't regret for a moment for booking this venue and I have much to thank Tribeca Grill for taking care of us so well. I won't get in to the details - but just wanna say both me and my husband enjoyed our dinner here last night and thought "this was a great pick of venue!" So thank you!!"

  • "Food was very, very good. The only reason I don't give it an "excellent" is because we were rather limited in what we could order, due to ordering from the special Restaurant Week menu. Therefore, the selections were not elaborate. But I do most definitely recommend the restaurant."

  • "In Tribeca on Greenwich, close to where we were staying at the Conrad. We enjoyed the meal and the service. The patio seating was what I've come to expect in New York. Lots of traffic noise even though it's on a relatively quiet street. But we could hold a conversation, so it works. The food was excellent. It was restaurant week (?) so we ordered the pre fix menu and got beet salad, a main course that escapes me right now, and a peach tart for dessert. We split one pre fix between the two of us and it was just the right amount of food if you are only mildly hungry."

  • "Restaurant week. place was 30% full so basically empty. Tuna tartar tasty but disproportionate chunks of veggies in the tartar overwhelmed it and made it taste like a hurried dish. Main course I had the Ribs and my buddy the Mahi. Both overcooked, chef clearly lacks the finesse to finish a dish. dessert was good (the chocolate cake) I really don't like this place food wise. Thank God it was $38."

  • "Everything we had here was really delicious and our server was great. We had salad and short rib pierogies to start, and then scallops and salmon for dinner. Delicious mustard vinegarette on the salad, wonderful short rib meat in the pierogies and delicious dough. The salmon was cooked perfectly atop white beans and a wonderful puree. Scallops seared perfectly atop mushrooms and asparagas. We also had a side of mixed mushrooms that were roasted and the best I have ever had. Outdoor dining is really nice here, although inside is good too. Casual but nice. Would definitely come here again when I am in Tribeca."

Now that I have, I don't know what took me so long. Extraordinarily good food, presented well with good service (waiter could've been a little better). Gotta have the banana tart for dessert too.   • "my wife's scallops were the high point of an odd evening. after the dessert order, servers and service disappeared. dessert arrived without the requested coffee. ice cream was melting after 15 minutes of waiting. I signaled to a server who came over and assented to bring our coffee, never to be seen again. finally, I reached out to a bus person and again requested our coffee. he had difficulty with english and brought just one. I sent him back for my wife's which came within minutes. the restaurant was barely 1/4 filled. the servers clearly got along well as they continued to socialize."

  • "I had scrambled eggs with gravy and a biscuit. The eggs were eggs, the gravy was alright (although the cubes of meat in there were weirdly chewy/spongey), but the biscuit was just awful. Not in a question of tastes, something was actually wrong. I think they mixed up baking soda and powder or just loaded in the soda. You'd think they'd test one before sending it out (we were the first ones there). My friend had ravioli, which weren't as bad but the tomato sauce was very watery and the goat cheese didn't taste like goat cheese. Service was pleasant. All in all, I don't think I'll be returning."

Both of us really enjoyed our food, drinks, and the ambience, etc. Our only issue was just early on the waitress was a little slow to get our drink order and deliver them, but after that the service was great, so may have been related to another larger table or something. I would recommend to others to give it a try. P.S. i would have given Ambience a 5 star if I would have seen Robert DeNiro :)"

  • "Most people go to Drew Nieporent's signature restaurants for the ambience, fame and glory, I was not an exception. TG was nonetheless no lacking in the culinary department. The pork chop and salmon were some of the best I ever had from dinning out. Those 2 meat groups are not the easiest for chefs, many a times they are over-cook. At TG, they were done just perfect. The taste easily exceeded the presentation which was top-notched."

  • "I chose Tribeca Grill for its wine list. It did not disappoint. Incredible range and you don't have to pay exorbitant prices for really great wine. We had a 2005 Trimbach Riesling with our appetizers and a 2001 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 with mains. My octopus salad appetiser and baby lamb chops main were very good. Two small things put a blemish on the experience : 1) the waiter didn't offer us the wine list to see if we wanted wine with the main course 2) I found the list of sweet wines by the glass to be weak and completely out of character with the superior wine reputation. During service the sommelier was very attentive and always ensured the wine glass was topped up. One of the best I've experienced in this regard."
