TRIA - An American Brasserie offers inspired cuisine uniquely prepared and presented in a casual and engaging atmosphere. The seasonal American menu highlights local and sustainable foods. Specialties include Lake Superior Whitefish Taco; Local Pekin Duck--seared rare breast, braised thigh, leg confit, and a tart cherry jam; Brown Butter Seared Scallops; and The Henry Burger with Black Angus Beef; the "Chef's daily Chalkboard" is based on unique ways the chefs use different ingredients such as truffles, Michigan cheeses, or roasted red peppers, to perfect the ultimate special-of-the-day. More than 12 items on the menu are Gluten Free!

TRIA also features a rotation of barrel-aged cocktails created by a special aging process to enhance flavors of cocktails using tequila, vodka, whiskey, rum and gin. To celebrate the grape, TRIA has assembled more than 35 wines by the glass available in four sizes, including an 8 oz quartino meant for sharing.

  • "I usually avoid hotel restaurants. This one is an exception. We had an early dinner here - so early we were allowed to choose from the lunch and dinner menu. I had a vegetarian portobella mushroom panini sandwich and a wonderful grape arugla fig (cheese can't remember the type) salad. The food was spot on. Waitress was attentive. there were some minor misses thus not all 5s but well worth the money and visit. Oh wine pairings were good too as recommended by their electronic menu which i found to be useful."

This is not your average hotel bar and restaurant, the wine list was very comprehensive and approachable, the staff was over the top, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend!"

  • "Tria is a typical "trendy" restaurant in a big suburban corporate hotel. The food was pretty good, and the table service was friendly if not too polished. We were met by a grumpy hostess who led us to our table without a word or a smile. The menus are on iPads which was both clever and annoying; not sure that's a trend that will really take off. The restaurant was busy and full of corporate workers after a day at their boring hotel conference, so the dining room was very noisy with office drones letting off steam on their expense accounts. The meal stretched to over two hours with four courses, which was fine as we had lots to chat about. But this is really just a decent restaurant in a big corporate hotel, nothing more."

  • "This was a last minute find, while on a business trip and we all were overwhelmingly surprised. From the drink selection, to the appetizers, to the meals (Hallibut got me and steak for my companion) it was stupendous! This is wonderful for a group or a quiet evening. Be prepared than when you fit down they will have you a tablet so you can seer every thing you are going to get. Tria truly sets the standard for what all hotel restaurants should emulate."

  • "My husband and I dined at Tria for the first time, based on the Open Table reviews. We were not disappointed!. My Cosmopolitan was perfect (drinks are strong and wonderful), the Tria dips with pita chips were fine as was my baked chicken dish. There is a Middle Eastern flavor in the menu (Dearborn is quite Middle Eastern) and the dates with honey and Lebanese flavored chicken dish were excellent. Our waiter Allan was always close, but never obtrusive. At first, I was surprised because the menu seems a bit limited. It turned out that every single dish was excellent. The reason the menu is limited is so the food can be first-rate. We will be back!"

  • "We visited Tria for breakfast, celebrating Mother's Day (one day early). We were treated like royalty! The host took such a shine to us, especially our 9 year old son. He talked with us and made us feel so welcome. After our delicious breakfast we enjoyed viewing all of the artwork, and the host then showed us some more special pieces which were hanging in various meeting rooms - we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and we are already talking about other occasions when we can visit again."

  • "Loved the iPad menus, ambiance, food and prices! Although the service was excellent the waitress neglected to tell us that she added on a 20% tip to our bill. We had a group of 8 and had no problem tipping 20% although I've never seen an automatic tip higher than 18%. My only gripe was should have pointed it out when she brought the tab. We almost missed it and came close to adding another tip."

  • "What a disappointment! Food took forever! Burger ordered medium well arrived medium rare. I'm cool with the mistake, but it took another 30 minutes to get it replaced. Of course my dinner companion has long since finished his meal when mine arrived! Thank god we enjoy each other's company! Of course they comped the burger, but it ruined the evening. It seems with a mistake like that a manager should have dropped by with an apology? No second chances here, I won't be back."

  • "We have dined at Tria many many times and generally have had a great experience. This time was different. First, we were not told that on Sundays there is a "reduced" menu. Second, that menu doesn't contain any vegetarian options. Our guest had virtually no options until the wait staff brought over the general menu and said he could choose from that. Third, even with fewer patrons the service was very slow. The food we ordered was cold and unappetizing. All in all is was a very disappointing experience."

  • "We frequent Tria for their Brunch buffet. Although they run this seven days a week, we usually go on Sunday for $23 per person. The buffet includes an assortment of continental items, traditional breakfast items, unlimited Mimosas, and made to order omelets and Belgian waffles. The atmosphere is generally reserved which makes it great for groups. You can also order breakfast off the menu. The menu entrées are also of equal quality. The French Toast is a must try."

  • "This was my first visit, the scenory was very beautiful, I had a reservation with the open table for 15 ppl for a birthday celebration. the hostess was very nice and friendly. the two servers were cool (Alan. the lady from Muford). the food was great, the seating was perfect. overall i had a great time and so did my husband and guest, i def. recommend this place, because im def coming back."

  • "Tria is my "go-to" place for business lunches with my Dearborn clients. Great service, and accomodate either a relaxed lunch or if needed a quick turn around to make a meeting on time. And, I've been there so often it feels a bit like my club...they remember who I am! One of my favorite "comfort" foods there with a gourmet twist is the tomato soup with grilled cheese."

The hostess asked if this was a special occasion and we said no but the gift card we got from our friends was for our 50th anniversary and we didn't think nothing of it. But after we finished dinner, which was just great, we ordered a dessert and when they brought it they also brought a plate with 2 little desserts sitting on top of a happy 50th anniversary icing written out. We were really surprised and want to thank you for that."

  • "All food, wine, soup, salad v.good, except; lamp wrapped with spinach, seemed rare, and hard to chew. Never once did our server ask "how is your meal". I would have told her, as a few pieces were not able to be chewed and ended up discreatly hidden in my napkin. O5her that that, v good. We had valentines day 6:15 reservations."

  • "I was so happy to see that Marty was still working as the valet/bell hop. The decor of the old Ritz Carlton lobby , lounge & dining room was modern, contemporary, & hip. The food was good, the server was average, expected better. Maybe she was just inexperienced. Loved the pianist! So nice to hear live beautiful music while enjoying dinner. Will return for dinner & possibly to fill out an application for a server, since they seem to need help. Have already given good reviews to friends on the positive points I mentioned. See you soon!"

  • "Tria is a gem! We had a wonderful experience. We were greeted upon arrival by a friendly hostess. The décor has a lot of beautiful art work throughout. The atmosphere is intimate and warm. The menu offers very interesting dishes, not your run of the mill items. The stuffed banana pepper is wonderful if you like spicy. The Swedish meatballs were delicious. The Smores cocktail is a must. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful recommending dishes. The menu was on an ipad, which allowed you to click on the item which brought up a picture and description. Marty will have your car warm and waiting, if you valet!"
