We enjoyed a wonderful experience having dinner at Trevi 5. The entire staff was warm, welcoming and very friendly. They had many options to choose from on the menu and thr food was prepared perfectly. Great wine list along with a very attentive bartender! A perfect compliment hidden in the Hotel Hershey.

  • we didn't get entrees

We were there on a Saturday evening. My husband and I with our two year old. We ordered apps one for my daughter one for us (meat and cheese plate I'd highly recommend it) a caeser salad to split- two duck entrees and a kids meat pasta. The server wrote down the order, but somehow didn't get the two duck entrees. By the time our daughter got her entree and we realized we weren't getting ours- it didn't seem worth mentioning the mistake. I'm not sure how a server forgets entrees- apps, dessert, drinks- that happens, but the actual meal? I get the impression that the service there is lacking- if I went back I wouldn't go on a busy night. But the food was good and it was child friendly.

I came here on my second night at the Hotel Hershey for dinner with my boyfriend. I got the bruschetta for an appetizer and was saddened when the topping (caramelized onions, butternut squash) was cold! If something is described as cooked I always expect it to be warm, but it was evident this was made earlier and stored cold. I ordered the duck breast and was disappointed when it came out because the fat under the skin hadn't been rendered out properly and made it tough to eat. I ordered the Trevi 5 Iced Tea (which contains alcohol) and found it to be exceedingly strong. I couldn't drink it. The cherry port reduction sauce on the duck was amazing and I wish there was more, and the Tiramisu was divine!

We went there as our first night out as husband and wife. They treated us wonderfully. They gave us a little plate of cupcakes with a "Congratulations" on it at the end. The front management stopped by several times to chat and see us. She was so sweet. Our server was lovely and checked in regularly. The food combinations were unique and not priced as high as you would think for a place inside a hotel, especially a private hotel. The wine list was small, but offered something for everyone. The cocktail list was nice. The beer list, much like the wine list, was small, but still had a little of something for everyone. If you are staying at the hotel you have to try this place for dinner.

My family has eaten here several times. The restaurant is nice, great patio for outdoor dining, good service, family friendly. But it comes at a steep price. I ordered the linguine with clams for a dinner entree, and got an appetizer-sized portion (for $21.99 GASP!!) I literally got 3 bites of pasta & clams. It was good, just not enough to call "dinner." My husband ordered the tuna (for $29.99) and got 4 bites of tuna with 3 spears of asparagus. No salad, no side dish, everything is ala carte. Just not enough bang for your buck. I left with both my stomache and my wallet empty.

We had dinner at Trevi 5 on 6/21-it was a very quiet evening, and service was rather slow, although friendly. The food was good, although my husband's duck was over-cooked. On our previous visits, the food quality was a bit better, as was the service. It might have just been an off-night.

We enjoyed a nice lunch at Trevi 5, however when we arrived, there was very loud music (radio-like) playing and my friend asked them to turn it down, which they did. I prefer soft background music and this was pop with loud base, even after the volume was turned down. My guess is it is a generation thing. Waitress was very nice, food good and when they found out it was my friend's birthday, they brought her 2 chocolate covered strawberries with Happy Birthday written with chocolate on the plate.

This is the second year in a row we've eaten at Trevi 5 and it's a very nice restaurant. The only point where improvement could be had is in the service. Our wait staff were all quite attentive - there were just too many of them and that made service somewhat erratic and uncoordinated. We noticed quite a few folks standing at the front desk who didn't seem to have enough to do. However, our questions were answered promptly and the food we received was delicious. It's a pricy restaurant in a very wonderful hotel. The other Hotel Hershey restaurant, the Circular, is a better choice for fine dining. For the money, I'd stick with Trevi 5 for lunch and save my $$ for the Circular.

We live a few miles away from Hotel Hershey, decided to check out the Saturday night Jazz in their Iberian Lounge so beforehand we needed a place for dinner. We decided on the Trevi 5 because of the beautiful weather and getting a table available outside on their veranda. The service was great, the food was also great but the view, you just can't beat it. They cater to families because of Hersheypark, so it's not the best place for a romantic dinner, but if you want to enjoy a semi-relaxed dinner it's perfect. We had time after dinner to walk down and enjoy the Hershey Gardens before the Jazz started, the Hotel and it's grounds are beautiful!

We've been here several times, this is the first time we were disappointed. The margherita pizza was tasteless because they used "micro basil" which basically was a bland herb with less flavor than parsley. I'm assuming it is cheap or they an out of real basil. I could have brought some from my own herb garden. The grilled octopus appetizer was overpriced with exactly 1 small piece of octopus. After we got past that point, the entrees were fine. They made a nice celebration out of our birthday guest, and the service was superb. Overall I was wishing I had gone with my first idea of going to Devon for our family get together, because Trevi was unimpressive this time.

My husband and I had (a Mother's Day) dinner at Trevi 5 this past Saturday, and as with our last visit in December,2013, we had a great dining experience. We were seated promptly, service was friendly and efficient, and the food was wonderful. My husband had the whole roasted branzino as a main course, and I had a light Spring ravioli with a Caesar salad. I had the cheesecake for dessert (luscious!) and we both had cappuccino. We consider this restaurant to be far less pretentious than the recently renovated Circular Dining Room ( we used to dine there...not any more!), and we highly recommend Trevi 5 to diners who visit the Hershey area.
