We ordered the frittata of the day (which had a delicious blend of vegetables) served with a side Caesar salad. We requested outdoor seating which gave us a beautiful view of the surrounding Hershey area. The service was excellent and the staff was accommodating and efficient. Afterwards, we walked the grounds of the Hotel Hershey. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and a hello. We also visited the newly remodeled shops for a few added Hershey treats. I didn't want the theme park as she lives in Orlando. We picked the Trevi 5 because we liked what we saw on the menu.
On arrival she was thrilled with the grounds panoramic view from the deck! But the BEST part was the actual lunch. The wait staff was just the BEST! Friendly, professional, helpful but not invasive. And the food was just out of this world. It not only lived up to our expectations it surpassed them big time! the presentation, the flavors, the serving size, all just perfect!
We will for sure be coming back for a truly WONDERFUL dining experience. Portions are not overwhelming, so that diners can enjoy distinct flavors without overeating. When the hostess asked if we'd like to sit outside, we were unsure. She said, we'll set you up outside and if it's still too warm, we'll bring you back in. Done!
It was a lovely setting. The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the cheese and meats plate. And I was delighted that they gave a generous pour of wine.

The outdoor terrace at Trevi 5 which overlooks the front of The Hotel Hershey, provided a casual, yet classy location to celebrate a special occassion. We loved the menu variety and had a hard time making our choices since everything sounded wonderful. The calamari appetizer is delicious and the cheese fondue, different and tasty. Between the four of us we had the duck, chicken, rizzoto and pasta - each delicious and presented with flair. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert, which is one reason why we'll return. I had plenty of time so it didn't bother me that my lunch took a while but I can imagine if I were in a hurry at all I would be a little annoyed. I was there with family and we had lovely wine and champagne and two courses so it took approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Again we were in no rush and I think our waitress was well aware of that so it was great. The wait staff is friendly, profession and observant of their guest's needs. Our server was able to make excellent recommendations for diners in our party that had trouble making up their mind. The presentation of each dish was wonderful. I myself had a pan roasted duck, which was cooked to perfection. I had the meat and cheese plate for an appetizer, which was delicious! my swordfish was also quite good. My husband and son both got the shrimp bisque, which they thought was good, but there should have been a larger portion. My son loved his pizza, which was a chicken pesto.My husband got the shrimp and scallop combination, which he found delicious.My son and I had gelato for dessert--the gelato was quite delicious and was a generous portion. It was a beautifully decorated restaurant and the food was delicious - we all ordered pasta dishes which we thought appropriate given the type of restaurant. The Spaghetti Bolognese was superb as was the Tortelle (smaller raviolis) with mushrooms in a marsala sauce. I had sausage, fennel, and peas in a cream sauce with a twisted pasta. All were wonderful. We also had a meat and cheese type of antipasta appetizer which was just enough for four of us to give us a taste of everything on the platter. THe brocollini pizza could have been cooked a little longer since the middle where all the toppings were was a little soft. The blood orange gelato was fantastic. Aside from one screaming child, the night was incredible! Service was excellent - efficient and non-intrusive. Food was unique and delicious. Drinks are pricey but wonderful!!! Wide range of menu items and prices, so something for everyone. Portions are a bit hard to predict. One salad and one pizza would have been enough for 2 people. However, an entree of lobster ravioli, for example, was rather small. An entree of pasta bolognese, however was large. The cheese/meat tray was large. The gnocchi appetizer was small. Guess it's best to ask. Leftovers were quite welcome, either way! I also had the Braised Lamb Belly as an appetizer, I had never come across that before, but it was terrific! The sides were also prepared to perfection. The only drawback was the service. Our waitress, although very polite, seemed new and a little uncomfortable. She didn't mention the specials, my wife was a little mad because she overheard them from another server and would have ordered one of them.
