This was a repeat visit for us.
Our biggest complaint was the noise level which made conversation difficult. The wait staff did their best to be helpful in spite of a very large crowd. We all enjoyed our entrees consisting of Cod for the women and Pasta for the men.. They also had outdoor dining. It's a fairly small dining room with tables close together but energetic and enthusiastic crowd."

My husband and I went to Treva for
lunch. Fantastic menu selection. Food was amazing. Service was good. The only thing I didn't like was the small table we were seated at, the people next to us had to move their table to get in and out."

Solid Italian Food in West
Hartford. Dinner was very relaxed and the wait staff very knowledgable."

We absolutely love the restaurant
and it is so obvious that the owner takes pride in his work. Homemade asparagus prosciutto ravioli was amazing!"

This restaurant exceeded our
expectations in all respects. The service, atmosphere, and food were great. We especially liked the emphasis on simplicity and quality of the offerings. But what set Treva apart in our minds was its attention to people -- we were tastefully engaged by the owner, manager, and bar manager in a manner that suggested Treva enjoys a regular crowd."

It's a very cozy place with great
people and excellent food!"

We have always been pleased with
our meals at Treva. The pasta dish was excellent and the pork was very tasty. The bib lettuce salad was excellent. The service was good, but not outstanding."

We sat at the bar area. Very
friendly, helpful and professional waiter guided us to choose from many delicious sounding entiries. Scrumptious food served promptly. My friend had octopus that was devine, my salad with beats and blueberries was incredible. Burgers were cooked just right and juicy on top of a hand made buns, which were sooo delicious. Did savor each bite. Will go back soon."

Treva has been consistently great.
We always enjoy the vibrant atmosphere , but the food is always the star from a great assortment of appetizers to superb fish & meat entrees. Fantastic wine list too."

The food here never fails to
please me and my friends. As long as you don't sit near the back door that detracts from your dining experience when they let people enter and exit, you will enjoy the experience."

I never mind spending money on
good food when the food is actually worthy of the price. I found the Flatbread at treva to die for but everything else was just Okay and was not worth the hundred dollars I paid."

Great food! We had several
appetizers rabbit sausage was delicious, the burrata was creamy with a tasty condiment. Riboletta soup was flavorful. The pasta dishes were very good. the main reason I was drawn there to celebrate our birthdays, was for the panna cotta : my favorite dessert, I was highly disappointed that while it was on the restraint menu, they did not have any...the honey budino and affigato pretty much made up for it. waitress helped select a wine, I wanted sweet red which they didn't have but was happy with what was suggested. Yes I loved it and I would definitely return: only this time, I'll call I advance about the panna cotta!! An excellent meal with excellent service comfortable but classy ambience . Highly recommend!!"

There were four of us and we all
enjoyed our meals very much. I asked for a modification; the staff was very accommodating and the dish came out exactly as I asked. The bread was just o.k. but other than that we thought it was an excellent meal."

Nice variety for the luch menu.
I've also had dinner her and it was delicious."

First time at this restaurant and
the experience was great. We has three entrees that were great and the service was very good."

The dining experience at Treva's
is comparable to dining in a quaint little local restaurant in Italy. Everything is prepared to perfection and after the first bite you automatically slow down and savor..."

I had scallops, which, might have
been sitting at the chef's counter too long. They were not served hot. My wife said her gluten free pasta was partly good, but a lot of it was undercooked. We shared a Caesar salad, to start, which was excellent."

We went to Treva for an
anniversary dinner with another senior couple. The menu offerings are very appealing and offer a large variety to choose from in addition to the daily specials. All of us we happy with our choices. The fish dishes were fresh and served attractively. Salads were generous enough that they could be split for two at no extra charge. The prices are reasonable for the quality and size of portions. Will not break the bank. Noise level is energetic but not annoying, especially if you sit away from the abr. Friendly service. Our waitress was a little too busy but once we ordered the food arrived in a fair amount of time. WE never felt rushed. Will return as Treva is a great restaurant bet in WEst Hartford Center."

We enjoyed new year's eve dinner
at Treva. Food and service were excellent--the scallops with polenta and wild mushrooms are to die for! My husband had the squid ink pasta with calamari and said it was fantastic. One person in our group had a dairy allergy and they had no problem making appropriate accommodations for him.The noise level was a little high and it was difficult to converse with friends, but I guess this is to be expected on a bustling new years eve."

Went to Treva with my wife for a
late New Years Eve lunch. Had a great meal and the service was good. We both started with the ribilotta soup - just wonderful on a cold day! For some reason I was in a fish mood and ordered the trout which was fantastic. My wife had the chicken saltimbocca which she also enjoyed. We had dinner at Terva a few weeks ago and had an OK experience - concerned that perhaps the new sister restaurant (A'vert) was a distraction. But it must have just been an off night. Our late lunch was great and the perfect way to start the New Year Eve's festivities!"

We had been to Treva for dinner
twice about two years ago and enjoyed it both times. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. We invited some friends there for brunch last Sunday and I am a bit embarassed for having brought them there. It was surprisingly not at all busy, yet the service was surprisingly slow. The staff was cordial and attentive when we arrived, but after we ordered it seemed as though time stood still until our food arrived. Then the food. How does one make a lousy Bloody Mary? To find out, order one at Treva. To be fair, other cocktails were fine. The steak, ordered medium rare in the steak and eggs, came nearly well done . They gave us one complimentary dessert to makew amends. Thanks, but try harder."

Treva is one of my favorite
restaurants. The food is always excellent and there is wide range of selections. I always find it difficult to choose just one entree. And because I've found a few that I really enjoy, it's a stretch to try something new, but it has always been worthwhile to select a "new" dish. Service is always attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance is somewhat upscale (as is most of West Hartford) but quite comfortable. I don't think it's possible to go wrong here!"

I've been to Treva 5 times and
each time it never disappoints! Food is fabulous and service is wonderful. I took a co- worker from St. Paul and she said it was "one of her favorite meals out". I look forward to my next outing there!!"

Went here for a work dinner after
an event in Hartford. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and wine list. The waiter was very attentive and knew a lot about the menu and made suggestions for things that weren't even on the menu."

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at
Treva and have already recommended it to others. Set in the middle of a bustling West Hartford center, Treva is a gem. Our special appetizer of stuffed squash blossoms was excellent and all three of the pasta dishes my table ordered were delicious and unique. The stand out of the evening was the special salad of bib lettuce, Gorgonzola and sliced pears dressed with a light lemon vinaigrette. Service was friendly and attentive, prices were within reason and my affogato with vanilla gelato was a great way to finish the meal."

I meet two friends once a year for
lunch and we have chosen Treva as our restaurant of choice. The food is great."
Dined on 9/30/2013
The food is excellent. The
homemade pasta is especially delicious. The wine list is extensive, and the bread comes with olive oil! Two options for outdoor dining - sidewalk and rear deck. Would definitely recommend it!"
Dined on 9/5/2013
This is a pricey restaurant with
adequate food served in a noisy unattractive space. Our server was untrained and inattentive. Nothing appeared to be house made - the server admitted so for desserts. The caprese salad had cherry tomatoes. This place is not of the caliber of Max or Briccio or even Rizzutos. Using Italian to name your dishes does not make you an Italian restaurant."
