Tres by José AndrésDon't miss Tres!Both the food and the service were absolutely fantastic. It's not often that one can dine in a very hip environment, yet still receive warm, friendly, informed service. Too often the staff decides to wear the mantle of coolness, and forgets that they are there to provide customer service. Not true at Tres. The staff struck the perfect balance - from the waitress (Amanda?), to the hostess, to the manager. We had cocktails, then dinner later, then breakfast the following day - and the staff was perfect every time. Each dish served was prepared perfectly and carried unique features.
