Tremont 647 offers everything from fun and funky Cocktail Parties, to Backyard BBQ's to large and lavish Wedding Receptions. We will work with most any budget and concept to create an event to remember and Chef Andy Husbands will work directly with you to design your perfect menu. We specialize in Corporate Luncheons, Wedding Receptions, BBQ Events, Cocktail Parties and Formal Gatherings.

We host special event dinners each month. From Tequila Dinners, to Single Vineyard Wine Dinners, to Events celebrating the cuisine of a specific country. They always begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00pm followed by a multi-course dinner.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation so we sat at the bar and had a drink. They actually gave us the tuna tartar for free to munch on while we waited. The tar tar was great! We sat on the Sister Sorel side of the restaurant (request to sit over there, it's a bit more fun and intimate). I had the short rib and he had the lobster mac and cheese with a side of asparagus...both were super good. Ever part of each dish had well crafted flavors that mixed well. The staff was alert and kind when suggesting drinks or meal choices.

I went for restaurant week and it was OK. I had the pork chop with mustard greens and cheese grits. The chops were not tender but they weren't dried out. A steak knife was needed to cut. The greens had an after taste and the grits were fine but I would suggest a tad more cheese. My friend had the braise short rib which was stringy. The best was the BLA, open face sandwich. The cocktails were OK. Overall I'm glad we went but the restaurant was not worth the parking headache. The staff was friendly but rushed the guest to finish. They told us we had a hour and a half for our reservation. While seated the waiter approached the table next to us and told them there time was up. I thought that was unusual.

A great dinner for four during Restaurant Week. Great menu, with expanded options even on the fixed Restaurant Week slate. Appetizers, Entrees and Desserts all top notch. Very loud and lively in the bar area, but that was fine with us. Will be back.

A friend and I decided to try this restaurant for Restaurant Week, neither of us had been there before. I was surprised at how small it was, and at first we were given the worst table in the place. We asked to move, however, and it wasn't a problem. The food was delicious and we barely had room for dessert, which was also delicious (lavender whipped cream? amazing!). Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I don't know if I would come back here for dinner - I wasn't crazy about the size and the noise of the open kitchen. I think I would definitely come back for lunch or late night food and drinks!

Overall, I had a good time and my meal was very good. Being a vegetarian, it's nice to see quinoa on a menu. However, before my date arrived I sat at the bar with my drink and waited. Within 15 minutes, a bartender told me I had to vacate the seat since it was reserved for someone else and she was there. I don't know who this person was is or what she does there but I think this was very rude. Since when do you reserve bar seats and why didn't he tell me that when I sat down?

We had a reservation on a Sunday evening at 730pm. We arrived early and this was no problem, the hostess cheerfully seated us right away. Every employee we passed while being escorted to our table said "Hello" and asked how we were doing. The menu had several great selections. Our waitress was very friendly and was able to make excellent suggestions off of the food and wine menu. The service was excellent. It was not a long wait for appetizers and drinks and not long for entrees after that. The staff keeps an eye to see where you are with your food so that there is not a long wait between appetizer and entre, etc. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is close to the "T". We will definitely visit agin next time we visit Boston.
