Since opening in May 2006, Treadwell has become one of Canada's most critically acclaimed restaurants. Located in Port Dalhousie, the restaurant sits on the foot of Twelve Mile Creek and Lake Ontario, offering beautiful views from the restaurant and terrace. "One of the best dining experiences. Beautiful lake view from every table and mimimalist decor. Food was spectacular from the mussels with fennel cream sauce to a wonderful mushroom risotto. I opted for the wine pairings with each course and was delighted with the selection of local Niagara wines. The service was friendly and knowledgable."

"Loved the food. Very quiet (we were there for lunch on a Friday) except for the obnoxious wine snob a few tables down. Owner was chatty and friendly. Great beet salad app and loved the beef pie main. Very filling for lunch. Would love to go back next time we are in the area."

"Took the girlfriend here for her birthday, it was the best dinner she had in a very long time. Even though this is a fine dining restaurant with an immaculate dining room, the atmostphere was casual and comfortable. And although wait staff seemed to be unusually young, they were very professional, friendly, and knowledgable about the menu. Then there was the food - we dined here in February, so kind of off-season but everything we had couldn't have tasted fresher. This place isn't for regular middle-class family dining out, as a full meal (with starter, desert, drinks and grat.) for 2 people will likely cost $150-$200. But in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. Great for a special occasion or impressing a date. Bravo Treadwell."
