We had a combo of the $29 3- course dinner and an a la carte choice. Great value for the food provided. Delicious piniolli-encrusted seafood was excellent and well prepared, although very rich. Nice pinot noir by the glass, but white wine was warm. Host is very customer-focused and is the heart of this operation, from a customer perspective. Service can be slow, which is fine, but some request is often forgotten (i.e. request for a diet coke, or ground pepper). Staff is sincere but not on their A game. I tried it because of another rave review on it, and it did not disappoint. They had a kale salad as a special, and I tried that too. Very unusual, and very good. The staff was very attentive, the Rioja wine I had was excellent and I will definitely go back. It is a little hard to find, I guess that is why they always try so hard to please. The food is always fresh, beautiful and delicious. My last visit I tried the homemade silk lobster ravioli with mascarpone, it was feather light and absolutely sinfully delicious. Equally delicious is the veal osso buco.
