The food is always excellent. The restaurant is lovely and is perfect for a nice romantic dinner or an elegant celebration. The service is impeccable from the perspective of elegant style but if you like warm, "catering to" service don't go to Tre Monti. Nous avons passé environ 3 heures au restaurant, le temps d'un cocktail, d'une entrée et d'un plat principal... nous aurions bien aimé profité d'un dessert en particulier (coupe de fruits arrosés de crème pâtissière chaude), préparé à la table des clients, mais nous n'avions plus faim.
Ayant des standards assez élevés concernant la nourriture, je dois avouer que tous les mets étaient absolument délectables... incroyablement délicieux! Difficile de faire mieux. Le service était très courtois et détendu. L'atmosphère, comparable à celle d'un autre resto du même style, était bien.

While an evening of dining is somewhat pricy, you get a premium experience for money paid. The waiter knew how each dish was prepared perfectly and from memory. All of the food was outstanding. We had a fish that had been flown in from Hawaii that day that was perfectly prepared. The homemade pasta was delicious, with our favorite being the gnocci. We ordered Caesar salads which was served in a light thin crispy cheese tartlet adorned with fresh anchovies. The gelato for dessert was dressed with a reduced balsalmic vinegar and berries. It too was delicious. The tile floor in the entrance is gorgeous and the same tile work weaves through the bar area. I was not happy to learn that my reservation through Open Table did not earn any points. We had not discovered Tre Monti and were anxious to try it after reading about it in Hour magazine. The restaurant is spacious and tastefully decorated with high ceilings that contribute further to the feeling of having lots of "elbow room". The staff were all very pleasant and skilled. We were able to converse easily at a normal speaking volume. The food was also super - from appetizer to dessert, and the portions were reasonable. We were able to try all courses and leave without feeling overly full. Open dining space is hall like and echoes laughter in large groups. Extremely pricey. 55.00 for a 9 ounce filet mignon with a spoonfull of butternut squash vegetable on top. Two drinks, appetizer, and two nine ounce entree's, 166.00 with a 40.00 tip equals 206.00. Mario, our waiter, was the utmost in professionalism.
Forward my comments to the restaurant please.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Food, Service and Experience.We gave Tre Monti a try after learning it was named 2013 Restaurant of the Year by Hours Magazine and it did not disapoint us. Service was attentive and knowledgeable, did not have to wait long for our food/wine. Food was very good, we started with salads (Campagnola and Alternativa)which were ok/good, then we tried the Risotto Fungi which was excellent and for our main dish we had the Branzino and the La Spigola alla spumante (both are Mediterranean Bass)which were also excellent. For dessert we had Zabaglione which was prepared at our table adding to the dining experience. I recommend it for special occasions unless you have $200-$300 (for a couple) as your dinning budget for one night. Each food course was more delicious than the last and I wish I could have done more damage to the wine list. The only negative was that the pot of coffee we ordered with desert was the consistency of tea. It was our first time there and I had notified the restaurant that it was for a 20th anniversary. I was surprised that there was NO recognition by the staff upon entry or at our table of this event for my wife and I.
