I have been there several times for lunch with a friend. When my wife's relatives came down from San Francisco, we inquired what they would like for lunch, the response was Asian or Italian cuisine. I thought about my previous experiences at Tre Lune and thought this would be a good choice, especially for people who enjoy food and are well traveled. The service was as expected, perfect, and everyone enjoyed their food. I personally like the small restaurant where you can chat and here one another vs. some loud noisy restaurant.

We stumbled upon Tre Lune while staying down the street at the Montecito Inn for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Tre Lune's ambiance, music and food were a perfect combination. We attend many high-level restaurants during our travels, and this is at the top of the list. If you are in the area, Tre Lune is a MUST!

Unfortunately, it was not an ideal experience. The service was slow and we had to ask several times for various items such as bread, water, etc. My appetizer was fine but they never came back around to ask us what we wanted to order for dinner! Not did they refill our drinks. It took so long that we finally just asked for the (overpriced!) bill and left. I'm going back to Olio Limone where the food AND service is very good.

My parents(locals)have been dining at Tre Lune since it opened its doors. It is one of their favorites. In March my mom and I had a wonderfulunch to celebrate her 91.However,this last visit,a special occasion, was different. We were all visiting my mom(from out of state)for Mother's Day andon that evening to celebrate our son's 25 birthday.I had mentioned this in my reservation. Our waitress was more interested in chatting with the celebrity at the table next to us.She was inattentive, actually rude to my elderly mom and frankly"put out"to have to bother with our table. It ruined the entiredinner.Unlike my mother's birthday there was no celebratory dessert, only the first pleasant interaction and smile from our waitress as she presented the bill.

The lamb was was not evenly cooked and the side veggies had too much oil. The crispy potatoes were hard as bricks. For the prices, we hoped for a better meal. Also, the blonde server knows no nuance and constantly interrupted us. We cancelled a future reservation and went back to Lucky's the next night. Tre Luna probably best for a pizza or pasta with a side salad. For Italian I will go back to Olio Limone as the food there is consistently excellent.

Very cute little place! Staff was helpful and friendly. Food and drinks are great, but overpriced. You can get the same things in other Italians restaurants around Montecito and SB for less. Ca Dario has a pasta dish that is exactly the same, but tastes a little better and is more affordable.

Nothing but great food and the best service in the Santa Barbara area. A lot of old money here and there is a combination of business meetings, romantic couples, girls night out and Montecito stalwarts. Great signature dishes, daily specials and wine list. Everything incredibly fresh and they will accomodate any off-the-wall request. Pastas, soups and salads are the best as well as a variety of delicious entrees. Can't wait til my next visit to SB!
