A word from Tre Dici
"Chelsea's best kept secret..."

An unexpected find on a busy Chelsea block, this bi-level gem offers killer Italian fare with seasonal ingenuity in a modern and attractive space overseen by a spot on staff. And the upstairs, speakeasy/bordello-like quarters serves up impressive red meats and pastas in an atmosphere rivaling that of the 1930's. Either way, a sexy vibe and genial staff make either floor a perfect date pick.

We were a party of 2, and they gave us the "Presidential" table in the back that could have seated 6. The server was attentive, gave a good wine recommendation. Oh, and the risotto balls were divine!

I've been to Tre Dici once and enjoyed everything. The drinks were tasty, the food and dessert very good (although my pasta was a little too hard for my liking but still delicious), and the service attentive and friendly. Modern decor and comfy atmosphere.

Turns out a college friend and myself were going to be in NYC the same time. The places I know/normally frequent were not available when we were both free. Found Tre Dici online and the reviews made it sound more like a date place. Went for it anyway and we had a great time. While it would be a good date place, it didn't feel overly "date-ish." So the next time you want nice ambiance and good food...head to Tre Dice!

Great neighborhood find near my hotel. The staff, Katie in particular, provided extremely attentive service. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The ambience was elegantly hip. A great spot for date night or a business traveller dining alone. I will make this restaurant a regular stop when I travel to NY for business.

Awesome evening spent with a great server: Katie LeMark aho was not only very personable but very well informed on the menu and meal preparation. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the Twisted Sister Pasta, while my husband had the Jalapeno infused Pasta dish. Utterly sublime. We'll be back.

I had made a reservation for the restaurant upstairs but on arrival, I was advised that there was a private party and we would be dining downstairs. Because the reviews had stated to be certain to dine upstairs, I was unhappy but had no time to make alternate plans . We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly service . The food was delicious, the menu was broad with selections and when we decided to share two entrees - they suggested plating them separately (four dishes instead of two) . We were not rushed but our server checked in to be certain we had no needs. All in all, a wonderful experience.

We found this small but very fun and contemporary restaurant just searching near our hotel. We will be back, as we were pleasantly surprised by the food. The veal chop parmigiana was outstanding as was the farfalle with lobster. The service was attanrive but not obtrusive. Even though the place is mall we did not feel on top of other diners and were able to have a quiet romantic dinner.

I chose this place because I needed Italian and a quiet joint for an out of town guest to discuss business. It was absolutely PERFECT! A meal is a terrible thing to waste so if I am going out I need it to be pretty good - it was great! memorable, easy, small menu (always comforting) and delightful service. LOVED the roasted stuffed figs and Twisted Sister pasta.

As visitors, found this little gem using yelp. They were gracious about a split meal, no wine. Recommended the roasted artichoke salad and lobster pasta. The angry lobster made me smile, presentation was great and it had amazing flavor. Loved all the subtle flavors present in the Tagliatelle. We had the Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon and Veal T Bone entrees. Loved the refreshing cucumber salad with the Salmon, and while the veal was tender and tasty, my favorite dish was the Chilean Sea Bass with the corn salsa. The perfect ending was the delicious Crepe Cake Service was friendly and well timed. Will definitely return sooner than later.

In the city for just one night and this place is memorable - part of a great romantic evening! Last minute decision based on location to our hotel and reviews online. Knew it was going to be loud and close tables, but OH BOY - we got lucky! We were immediately seated in a cute little booth next to the bar. The high walls gave us some privacy and allowed us to avoid the noise. We shared several plates with healthy pours of pinot noir. Ate the tomato, blue cheese app, Kobe beef ravioli & Chilean Sea Bass. Super YUM! Colleen was our waitress - super friendly, helpful and patient as we took our time selecting our food and enjoying the evening. GREAT MEAL! Just the right amount of food. All waitstaff attentive and available.

Started off with being very frustrated that our reservation was not honored at the time we made it for. They obviously overbooked the restaurant. It might have been a nice gesture for the manager to offer us a complimentary drink. After we were seated, we had a wonderful experience. The kobe ravioli, the meatballs, and the lobster were wonderful. Amazing to be able to get a 1 pound lobster for 18.00. We had the chicken which was one of the best in Manhattan and very large portion. We also ordered the sea bass, which was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. Hopefully the long delay in seating us was a one time incident. I will try going back again.
