2nd visit; ordered entree not on menu & they accomodated. Food, service, atmosphere is great. I do not live in NY - travel there frequently for business. Even with all the fab resturants in NYC, I have gone to the Tre Dici Steakhouse (upstairs) twice in 2 weeks. Love it!!!!!!!

We came upon this restaurant on open table. It was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. We went on a Saturday eve which can always be nuts in NYC. Well we found the food, service and over all experience to be outstanding. Its a great neighborhood gem.

The food was delicious - we had the papardelle and the kobe beef ravioli, with the crepe cake for dessert. I also really enjoyed the Super Tuscan wine. The only issue was that our little table was situated right next to where the host/hostess' station as, and we went early (6pm) to make a show so it wasn't very crowded yet, and I felt like it was so quiet that we were at the children's table with the adults hovering nearby.
Otherwise, a pleasant experience.

We made a last minute decision to dine here after "Yelping" the area we were in. It looked nice enough online and the menu looked decent. The place was bustling when we arrived but we were seated within 5 minutes. The portions were large and the food was amazing. We ended up chatting with the food runner as he is from the same hometown. The service was wonderful all around. This is definitely a little neighborhood gem that I'd like to return to!
