Trax Restaurant & CafeNoisy but Good FoodTrains rush by too often for comfort. Still worth a one-time visit.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNeighborhood gemTrax came onto the scene early in Ambler's revitalization and has been consistently good. Ambience inside and out is unique in this former train station. Summertime first Fridays now has a band outside starting at 8:30 PM. Diners can enjoy or you can just come for lite fair and sit outside. BYO is a plus.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best byob's around. One of the best byob's around. We love the fresh, interesting food options. Lovely evening!!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMfirst timeMy husband and I had tickets to Act 11 playhouse. We wanted to eat nearby. The food at Trax was wonderful. We loved the menu and had a great time. We certainly will be back.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food!We had learned about Trax from a show on 6ABC. Well, we couldn't be happier! Food was sooooo good. Perfectly balanced flavors, nice serving sizes, so fresh, my salmon practically melted in my mouth. Absolutely can 't wait to go back! You can not go wrong here!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Food & ServiceWe have been consistent patrons of Trax and enjoy the excellent food. The service is always good and the wait-staff is pleasant.. We particularly enjoy celebrating New Years Eve dinners with family at Trax over the past 12 years. The owner, Steve Waxman, greets us in the dining room to ensure we are enjoying our meal.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceIt was our first visit but not our last. Kate was great and we loved the swordfish special. The place is charming but small, so do make reservations. It wasn't crowded when we were there, but I imagine it gts quite noisy on a busy night.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was delicious. PriceFood was delicious. Price fix before 6 Pm a great deal. Service pleasant. Only downside: Hard to have a quiet conversation. Music too loud. Place very noisy when it filled up with patrons.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding food. Fresh,Outstanding food. Fresh, effort towards organic and local. Very good service. Tight quarters but tables well situated and noise level surprisingly low. Meals not inexpensive but with BYOB the overall value was excellent.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved our first visit to Trax. This was our first experience at Trax. It is very small and tightly seated but, if you are looking for romance there are a few tables that call to the heart. If you are headed to Trax for a date night, tell them you would like a table in the alcove by the window. There were four of us for dinner and each of us had something different. Everything was very tasty. The butternut squash soup and the special asparagas wrapped in prociutto with goat cheese appetizers were excellent. Scallops, duck, pork loin and salmon were all cooked just right. Not inexpensive. For the four of us with a tip dinner came to $180. Nice thing about Trax beyond the great food is it's a BYOB. We'll be back!1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
