As first timeers we weren't sure what to expect, especially with our guests from Santa Barbara who were use to great restaurant options. The food choices were excellent. Well beyond traditional pastas. The presentation was impressive. We had three servers attending to us and they accomodated a few quirks of our guests, on wine selection, with ease. We had a sunny window table which we chose over the more casual outside, sidewalk tables. I'm not sure how we got in at 7pm on Saturday with just 24 hours notice but we were all glad we did.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat find!I wasn't aware of this restaurant, until I searched for "Linden Hills Restaurants" online. We were able to get in on a Friday night. What a great find! It's a lovely restaurant, attached to Turtle Bread on 44th Street. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. We were seated in a back corner, but were approached immediately by a friendly server. We ordered a bottle of wine which was listed as a special - which was wonderful. The menu is a la carte, and not cheap, but the food was wonderful, and well worth the cost. Everything we ordered was lovely in presentation, and phenomenal in taste. Our waitress was energetic and well versed in the ingredients and preparation.
The food was excellent and there was no rush. We brought our own wine but I am not sure what the corkage fee was.
