My friend had been looking forward to her Osso Buco. The waitress explained that the menu was just changed, but would ask if the kitchen would be able prepare the Osso Buco. To our pleasure the Chef was able to prepare my friend's Ossa Bucco. As well to our surprise a birthday dessert was present to my friend. Good Food, Wine and service. When 2 of our party arrived late (and the rest of us already had our apps), they rushed to get them caught up with appetizers AND ensured their main courses arrived right on schedule with the rest of the table. That is true service excellence!! The service, food and atmosphere was five star. We will return. Thank you for a great night! Literally just a 6 oz medium rare on a bed of arugula. It didn't look like much, but WOW it tasted incredible!
I highly suggest you have the Stick toffee pudding for dessert. Definitely a yummy treat that was beyond our expectations.
Rating a 4 because the pasta special left a lot to be desired. We also had to wait 15 minutes despite having made a reservation. I'd heard about Trattoria Timone and thought this would be a good time to try. We were absolutely delighted by the food, the service, the decor, the general feel of the place and we will definitely be going back! Sat at a table at the back so it was more private and stayed until we closed down the restaurant, much later than the closing time (10:30pm).
