We are a Modern American Italian restaurant on Zagat's list of the Top 12 New Restaurants in Los Angeles We have a beautiful design, a wood burning oven and grill, and serious cocktail, wine, beer and coffee programs. Our Cocktail Director was nominated for Best Bartender in America, our Wine Director is Vice President of the North American Sommelier Association, and our Beer Director was called the "Best Beer Sommelier in Los Angeles" by Los Angeles Magazine. We serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, brunch every weekend. We also hold wine dinners, beer dinners and have three beautiful areas for private events. We have free (with some restrictions) abundant parking directly behind the restaurant. Continued

  • "This is our favorite restaurant so I hope the minor issues won't be indicative of a trend. The main thing was that we've enjoyed the grilled BABY octopus since it went on the menu about a year ago. So when we were there the other night with friends, I naturally ordered it--but unfortunately, it was no longer baby octopus but adult octopus--and completely tough and inedible. We did send it back and the server took it off our bill, kindly, and suggested the delicious caprese as a replacement--but I really hope they bring back the baby octopus and ditch the adult version! I also felt the pork chop was not as excellent as it has been (one of our faves, we've ordered it many times). It seemed over-sauced this time, obscuring the grill flavor."

  • "This is my second time dining here. The service is excellent. There's a great wine and cocktail selection; however some wines are only available by the bottle. It can be a bit noisy at the bar if you go earlier in the evening. The service was great in the later evening. I love the beet salad and the Pomodoro (but I'm a vegetarian and that's pretty much all I can eat there). I do like the seasonal menu. And love their desserts!"

  • "...If home is the bar from "Cheers." All that's missing is Frazier & Cliff. A beautiful space, with a historic preservation feel to it. Elegant but informal and a truly enjoyable meal and evening. Service that both friendly and knowledgeable. An involved management and a solid kitchen makes this a must for repeated visits. A good selection of Italian varietals on a compact but serviceable wine list and a similarly compact but varied menu. One could nitpick--as in the Tuscan melon seemed like a semi-ripe cantaloupe--but the butter lettuce version of a Caesar salad with exceptional and the pasta and risotto entrees were perfectly prepared. Highly recommended for a leisurely and satisfying experience!"

Love the ambiance and atmosphere-- it definitely has that upscale feel, with Pasadena charm. It's a real gem. Foodies-- this is an Italian dream.   • "The experience was fine. My bf and I were sat in the far back right outside of the semi-open kitchen and the ambiance back there was not as nice as the rest of the restaurant. It was a bit disruptive w/ people running around, but we still enjoyed each other's company. The food was OKAY. I'm not that particular, but the artichokes appetizer was pretty bad. My bf and I don't like to waste food and we left 75% of the dish uneaten. Our entrees were pretty good, but nothing spectacular (truffle fontina pasta and the Bolognese). Dessert was probably the best part, the Tiramisu was delicious. In the end, we decided we'd like to experience the ambiance that makes this restaurant special so we brought our dessert to the bar & had a couple drinks. "

  • "The 4 of us had various dishes, and we all enjoyed them. I had the pasta bolognese, and it was just the right amount and very tasty. They also offered creative cocktails and a solid wine list. We especially appreciated that management came by to say hello and ask how we were doing. I want to go back there and try more dishes. The only minor quibble is that our table was not ready at the reservation time, but that cleared up relatively quickly. "

  • "If you have never been here, the interior is first rate with optional seating areas. Service was very attentive and professional. My friend and I both had the smoked salmon salad which we enjoyed a lot. It had just the right amount of dressing to flavor the salad but not overpower the ingredients. We had tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. The tiramisu was slightly different than I was used to and found it was based on a traditional recipe. "

  • "Trattoria Neapolis was recommended to me by a friend and I am glad I took him up on his recommendation ! The atmosphere and service were wonderful and made my experience incredibly worthwhile. I ordered the Taleggio Grilled Cheese and paired it with Great Divide Brewing's Yeti Imperial Stout which proved to be a lovely combination; the flavors of each complimented each other well while still retaining their own distinctiveness. I will certainly be coming here again in the future and will definitely recommend it to a friend as it was recommended to me!"
