With Chef Marcelo Hernei holding the reins, Trattoria offers fine Italian cuisine, a full bar, and one-of-a-kind horse racing memorabilia. Catch up on the day’s races over drinks at our mahogany bar looking out at seven acres of pristine lawns. Listen to the legendary Giovanni Fazio, singer and piano player, as he sings classics and today’s biggest hits. The menu features notable dishes such as lobster and seafood fra diavolo, filet mignon, and broiled Block Island swordfish. Trattoria’s wine cellar offers bottles of wine, champagne, and liquor ranging in price as well as wines by the glass and festive cocktails.

  • "Siro's Trattoria is a great place to drink & dine after the racetrack where you end the night having so much fun! The Italian food is absolutely delicious! This time around, our table raved about the veal chop, lobster ravioli & swordfish. 6 of us arrived for an 8:30pm dinner reservation & didn't leave until almost midnight not realizing the time because of how much fun we had. The entertainment is great! Our Italian waiter had the best attitude too!"

  • "Restaurant with Italian menu in beautiful turn of the century country house in a park-like setting. The food is good but should be better. I had penne alla vodka -- the pasta was cooked just right but the sauce was more like a tomato sauce and there was too much of it. Linguine with clam sauce was well prepared with fresh clams. I've been to this restaurant half a dozen times, and . ambience-wise, it's the best restaurant in Saratoga."

  • "Everything was perfect - from the valet parking to the maitre d' to our waiter to the delicious food. Our out-of -own guests couldn't have been more impressed. The waiter was very engaging and helpful. The food choices were varied. With four different entrees at our table, everyone couldn't have been more complimentary. As it was the evening of the Traver's Race in Saratoga the restaurant was really abuzz. I'm not sure what a more typical night is like. Although the restaurant was very busy and there was a large number of people at the bar, because of the small rooms for dining it was not a problem. Will definitely return"

The service was wonderful, our waiter was spot on with his recommendations.Other staff stopped by to say high and/or talk to our young children - who loved the special attention. The girls also raved about the bolognese!! Not sure how many children eat at Siro's, but the staff couldn't have been nicer. Made for a great evening for the adults too."

  • "A party of 4 went for a later 8:30pm dinner reservation Friday night after the racetrack to celebrate a birthday! For our 1st time there, we found ourselves impressed with the atmosphere, the decor, great food and good tunes! our waiter's sense of humor and at-tentativeness won us over. The food was great even though they didn't have anymore lobster ravioli that was on the menu. Hope when we go back again, they will! The special appetizer of buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, prosciutto & drizzled balsamic was delicious; especially with the warm & fresh bread! The sea bass was fabulous!"

  • "The food and service were excellent. My wife and I both had veal dishes which were moderately priced at $25. The bar noise was very loud, and we had to be asked to be moved from our table near the bar in order to hear ourselves talk. That move necessitated a gratuity. There was not one reasonably priced chardonnay on the wine list. Lowest priced bottle of chardonnay was $45. Other wine types on the wine list did not have that problem. That needs to be changed."

This is a place that is great for a romantic dinner for two or a large family group. If you haven't been there in a while you should revisit as the management and staff have changed."

We also enjoy it's vibrance and spirit of Saratoga when it is packed with the race season crowds.The staff is friendly and attentive. no matter how busy they are. We are excited that our daughter's wedding reception will be held there in September."

  • "We had the pleasure of holding our daughter's wedding at Siro's Trattoria. My wife scoured the Saratoga Springs area for a wedding venue last fall. She fell in love with Siro's. When we booked the reception, it was with the understanding that the General Manager (Kevin Decker), Chef (Phil Fitzpatrick), and Beverage Manager (Fitzie), would be part of the deal. The restaurant business in Saratoga is volatile and we were afraid that the staff might depart. As luck (and the business) would have it, Chef Fitz moved on. The team reunited for the big day and provided us with the ultimate wedding reception. The food was impeccable and the service phenomenal. There is not one thing that could have made the event better! 5 Stars understates!"

  • "We had dinner at The Lodge for the first time recently. The atmosphere was very nice and the waitstaff were friendly. The food was average/good but the prices were very, very high. Dinner for 4 with 2 drinks each and entree (no dessert) our meal was $400 with tip. This was much higher than expected and some of the meals were not priced clearly on the menu. For half the price we could have gone to Pennell's Restaurant around the corner and had much better food. It is unfortunate that this restaurant is so high end. If the prices were reasonable we would go back as the food was not bad, just not different or exceptional. I would expect something much better for their prices. We will not be going back."

  • "This place is a gem and could use a bit more marketing and accessibility. Most people do not even know it is there. On a Friday night, by 10PM there were about 5 guests listening to the fantastic piano player in the bar (which has amazing acoustics) and about 4 dinner guests finishing their meals. It was not exactly the vibrant scene it could have been. The food is very high quality, the homemade pasta excellent, choices and combinations could have been a bit more healthy and inventive. The wait staff was very good, but seemed to be not well informed. With a little effort this could transform into a hot destination in Saratoga as much in the winter as in the summer."

  • "Seated by front door, waiter believes that Risotto is Arborio PASTA, not rice and took issue with our complaint (argued with us) that it was crunchy. Had to send back, waiter did not talk to us again after that, shifting resposbility for our table to someone else. Caesar salad sodden with dressing, flavor out of balance (too much garlic) served with high quality anchovies. Paparadelle with lamb ragu was very good. Overall, restaurant is OK, but unfocused in terms of menu, service and decor. Could be good, just a long way off. Not recommended."

One of our group was a little disappointed that the first courses of pasta were small and not really a meal, which was thoroughly explained by our waiter. Two of us had the two different versions of swordfish which were outstanding. All in all, a very good meal."

  • "The outdoor bar is great for casual drinks and live music while the inside restaurant is more elegant. I've eaten here 3 or 4 times. The food is usually consistent and the wait staff is generally knowledgeable and attentive. The inside piano bar is a fun way to cap the night after dinner."
