Though we had to wait a few minutes he offered us complimentary glasses of wine which was very nice. The service was excellent. The food was beautifully presented and reasonably priced but did not taste as good as it looked. We ordered the Antipasta for 2 which was very large but the meat tasty fatty and bland and even though the vegetable tray was dotted with what appeared to be Balsamic Vinegrette it tasted more like plain olive oil. Our broccoli side dish was also very bland. I ordered the Salmon which needed more of a sauce or spice to it and I would say was slightly overcooked. The calamari is cooked perfectly, the homemade ravioli specials are a must, and the consistently tasty rigatoni buttera is one of our favorites! Our server Carlos was very knowledgeable about the food and the wine, making a very impressive wine presentation where he walked us through three different wines, bringing them to the table to explain the style and characteristics of each. The mussels appetizer was superb with nicely balanced flavors. The calamari was just right- not chewy or soggy as is often the case at other restaurants. The meal was timed will between courses with nothing coming on top of each other. Most of us ordered specials which were all great. My last time I have the veal romana, what can I say " excellent" my wife enjoyed penne alla vodka ( she love it). Love to come over any day of the week at trattoria. ( ps. The food quality, taste and presentation is head and shoulders above anything locally. The wait staff are veterans and it shows. The wine list is superb. The food was excellent but most of all the waitress Jennifer was outstanding in her service and attentiveness. She know the menu and made an excellent wine selection.
The only thing is its a bit noisy but that was overshadowed by the fantastic service from Jennifer and the good food!

Our party of six enjoyed a most enthusiastic welcome and overall a lovely dining experience. None of us ordered the same entree yet each of us thought his/her choice was delicious(and best). The wait staff is excellent. They take a personal interest in their customers without being intrusive and their goal is to provide you with the best possible service. All three waiters we have experienced had wonderful personalities. We loved being greeted by the manager who is perfect in his role as the charming and clever host.
