A word from Tramontana's Italian Grille
Tramontana's Italian Grille is a dream turned reality for the Tramontana family. For generations, the family recipes have been lovingly prepared, and passed down.
John has always had a passion for cooking, and sharing his recipes with friends and family. His dishes always draw praise, and are always the hit at every party.
At the end of 2011, the family had an opportunity to open a restaurant, and in January 2012 Tramontana's Italian Grille opened their doors. Their dream came true.
Now everyone can enjoy the Tramontana family recipes 7 nights a week, from their signature marinara, to delicious pizza. Johnny's famous shrimp and asparagus, to his mouth watering meatballs!
Gluten free? Not a problem! Gluten free pasta & pizza crust upon request. Vegetarian? No worries, there are plenty of menu options for you as well.

  • "Those of us living in The Verandah are lucky to have Tramontana's Italian Grille as our neighborhood restaurant. The food is consistently good. We have been here only for dinner, but I imagine it must be a perfect lunch spot. A friend visiting from Bethesda was delighted to find garlic soup on the menu and was amazed to see the easy banter between the servers and the patrons. As I was showing my friend one of the many framed photos hanging on the wall of the family, the owner of the restaurant came out of the kitchen and "introduced" us to his grandfather, a handsome young man photographed on a horse. How nice, also, that Diane loves experimenting with different desserts! My friend mentioned the bar is quite nice. Great place!"

The food can be very good, sevice can be spotty, simetimes very slow, sometimes waitress is too familiar and intrudes on the diners. Tables are uncomfortably crowded together. We will still come back because tramontana's seems to have lots of potential. Good luck to them."

  • "We went there because a gentleman recommended it in Jean LeBoef's review in last weeks News Press. Would never go there again. Bread was supermarket bread aisle Italian. No bread plates supplied. When I am paying $17+ for an entrée I expect good Italian bread and a plate to put it on. Caesar salads had large outer leaves of romaine that were hard to manage in the small bowl that they were served in. My husband ordered anchovies that cost an extra $2 and never got them. We didn't think that we were ever going to get our entrée. Chicken and veal were terrible and our entrees were served with the wrong pasta. Wasn't even busy so they can't use that as an excuse."

  • "During this return visit to a neighborhood Italian restaurant, we practically had the place to ourselves, since it is still not "season" here in SW Florida. The waitress was new and did not know that a vegetable could be subbed for the pasta side with the entrees. Our salads, which are included with dinner, came quickly, but then so did the entree, almost immediately after the arrival of the salad! The entrees were okay, not exciting. Tramontana's is good for feeding the family, the group after a ball game, couples, etc with good, well cooked, traditional Italian dishes and pizza. If full, it would be pretty noisy with the newly added tables. All food is cooked to order."

  • "we met friends there who travelled across from the east coast on rt. 80. we've never eaten there before. if we lived in the neighborhood, we would probably choose to go there for a casual dinner. however, it's not a place we'd select to travel to. food was average; dinner rolls were tiny and they didn't put a basket of rolls on the table, you received one roll w/your dinner and if you wanted more you had to ask. service was good and the waiter was attentive."

  • "We live nearby so visit here often. I had the chicken piccata which was quite tasty. My husband and grandson shared a pizza and enjoyed it. My son-in-law had the chicken parmesan and "cleaned his plate". My daughter did not enjoy the ravioli with Italian sausage. Said that the sausage tasted funny. My one request is that the quality of the house salad improve. Greens and veggies should be cold and crispy. We will be back."

Great menu we ordered a bit of everything our food & drinks where Fantastic....the veal so tender, awesome pasta dishes, steaks & seafood it was all fabulous!!! The atmosphere is comfordable & cozy for a couple or a group. Superior service from the owners to the wait staff. We love it here and can't wait to visit again. Certainly a great addition to Fort Myers area that everyone needs to experience!"

The food was excellent, the wait staff friendly and efficient, and the desserts to "die for". The marsala sauce the best we have ever tasted. Try the veal marsala, you will not be disappointed. A bit of a ride for us, but well worth the trip if you like authetic Italian food."

As a person on a gluten-free(GF)diet, the owners bent over backwards to accommodate me. I enjoyed a Caprese salad with wonderful balsamic reduction, a delicious main dish - Pasta with Shrimp and Asparagus (GF,of course)and delicious GF rolls. This is a gem of a restaurant and I would recommend it highly. We will return when we're back in Florida."

The quality and flavour of the food was outstanding and the portions generous, to say the least. The atmosphere reminded us of our favourite Italian restaurant back home in England.
