    Tramici is involved with numerous local and national charities including the St. Simon's Land Trust, Cystic Fibrosis, and the Boys and Girls Club.

  • Parking Details: Available in front of and to the side of Tramici is a secure, large, well lit parking lot. If you would like to drop off your guests at the front door, pull up under our porte-cochere to keep them warm and dry.
A word from Tramici
What does Tramici mean? It means "among friends" and Tramici is the place where you want to be with friends and family to enjoy delicious American-Italian fare including Housemade Mozzarella with Basil, a crispy 4 Cheese Pizza with Arugula, and your favorite standbys like Spaghetti and Meatballs or Oven Baked Lasagna. This lunch and dinner restaurant is the second venture of Dave Snyder, owner of Halyards and The Halyard Restaurant Group. Chef de Cuisine John Ryan is on hand to ensure warm hospitality and a great experience. The decor is casual and highlighted by a 18 seat bar, 8 tables in our courtyard, and an open kitchen to watch the delicious food come out of the Wood Stone Oven. The adventurous wine list and cold tap beers will pair well with the menu that is changed with the seasons. Tramici is family friendly with a full Kid's Menu and open everyday where tables for walk-ins are available all the time.Continued

  • "One year ago we went with 6 people. Seated late for a reservation at a very crowded booth next to the front and bar. People at bar standing right over our table. Server spills 6 glasses of red wine in the middle of our table. We asked to be moved to one of two other 6 top tables that were open and told they were reserved. Never an apology for the spilled wine or an offer to clean several items of clothes with wine spatter. We returned this year to try again. Very busy. Had to ask about specials and dessert. Very ungracious service. Food is OK nothing special. It appears to be a restaurant that loves the locals and simply tolerates the rest of us. Should add that they were not as busy as they were in the past years."

  • "Three of us dined. Waitress was fabulous and very skillful in advising us what "not" to order. This is important and many restaurants don't acknowledge that a couple of entrees might not be as tasty as others. I appreciate when I solicit advice and actually get guidance. Had the eggplant parmesan and it was some of the best have ever tasted. That is a huge complement! Other two had fish dishes that they loved. Overall, the waitress and her attentive service made this a great evening!"

  • "Waitress was attentive to a fault. Came by twice to recite specials. She did recommend a bottle of wine, which proved to be to our liking. Antipasta appetizer was very good. Entrees, however, missed the mark. Felt menu was not clear. Ordered short ribs with ravioli. Menu led me to believe I was getting actual ribs with a side of ravioli. Very surprised when waitress brought over ravioli stuffed with meat. BTW, the "meat" was not identified on the menu. Beef? Veal? Pork? Believe it was beef. At any rate, menu was misleading. My husband ordered pizza. On scale of 1 - 10 with 10 the highest, it was a 6. We were seated in a booth, as requested, however were by the kitchen/ovens/grille and it was quite warm. Not a real good experience overall."

I had one of the pizza choices - flat, crispy, covered with Gorgonzola, spinach, and slices of Parma. Perfect. One pizza was enough for two lunches. Upon entrance to the restaurant, you see a typical bar scene with TV's on, much like a Applebees setup. I was disappointed in the atmosphere and was hoping for a great meal. The pasta and chicken was not very good. I have had better dishes at home. My wife had a ravioli dish with goat cheese and it was ok. On a positive, the service was great and efficient."

  • "I am allergic to corn, especially corn syrup. It was very easy to find good choices without corn syrup on the menu at Tramici. It is not always the case that food is made from scratch or that all the ingredient are known. Kudos to Tramici and the restaurants at St Simons for making it easy for me. We had a wonderful meal at the bar. We started with a lovely thin-crust Marge pizza and drinks . She had the short rib and goat cheese ravioli and I the sea food Diavolo. The Saturday evening crowd was lively but not too loud, the children well behaved, and our bar companions were pleasant and interesting. We highly recommend Tramici."

  • "We were in town for a conference and stumbled on this place on Open Table. We were trying to choose between this place (Tramici) and "Coastal Kitchen and Raw Bar". We ended up at Tramici because it was closer and I'm so glad we did! (See my review for Coastal Kitchen on TripAdvisor...it was AWFUL!!) Anyway Tramici is truly authentic Italian food, I had the Veal Marsala, DELICIOUS! The desserts were excellent too as well as the Lobster Bisque. Will definitely go again when we're back in town for the same conference!"

The servers are always friendly and continue to come back to the table to make sure you are satisfied, When I come to SSI I meet friends there ,too. The lunches are beautiful and I like to try the different dishes and am always impressed with the unusual combinations; salmon on zucchini patties, etc. Love the presentation,too. I have already recommended the restaurant to friends. I am from Virginia but make a point to come there at least once when I am on the island. Making reservations on line is easy,too."
