Just like in our name, Tradicao, we stay true to the foundations of the traditional Brazilian churrascaria.



The experience is split up into two parts



Part 1: Salad Bar - After being seated, guests can help themselves to our gourmet salad bar stocked with more than 30 fresh items.



Part 2: Meat - At each of our seats, we include a coaster with a red side and a green side. Once back at their table, guests can start signaling our gauchos (meat servers) by flipping over the coaster to the red side. This indicates that the guest is ready to enjoy the 13+ succulent meats, which include lamb, beef, chicken, and fish. As an accent to the meat, we provide five delicious side dishes.

  • "Took my best friend there for her birthday. She had never been, and she loved it! The food was great. The salad bar was so good it was hard not to fill-up on it before the meats starting coming. The servers were all so kind and helpful. I brought and outside dessert (which was her favorite) and they offered to hold it in the refrigerator until it was time. They even put it on their platter, added a candle and wrote, "Happy Birthday" (quite beautifully, too). The entire evening was wonderful. I would recommend it for any special occasion."

Very good food, very good service and a great feel/atmosphere to the place. In the area - I would say it's one of the better and nicer places. Definitely a worthy place for a good dinner or lunch."

  • "A LOT of food, come hungry......come VERY hungry. You may not like it all, but there is so much to choose from and try that you will find something you like. .....hopefully before you fill up. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. All the staff helped out each other when things were busy. Some might consider it high priced for the Clear Lake area, but well worth it with the quality and quantity of the food and the quality of the service."

  • "I took my wife to Tradicao for Valentines. The restaurant was busy with the holiday rush as I expected. Parking was great since they have valet at the door. We had a drink at the bar and were seated in about 15 minutes. Our waiter was very attentive. The food is unbelievable. Every ten minutes or so someone brings by a skewer of some of the most tender and juicy cuts of meat around. I ate til I hurt...and then I had a couple more bites. The baby beef, the filet mignon with or without bacon almost melt in your mouth. We will be back. Oh, and go in expecting to pay a little more. Its well worth it."

  • "We went for Valentines day so it is hard to really rate a restaurant on a night like that. Inside the restaurant was nice and trendy. The service for a night like that was surprisingly good. It was slow granted but we didn't go without food or drinks long. I was very happy with all the beef and seafood selections but not so much the chicken only because I prefer beef. Everything tasted great. I will have to try again not on a holiday."

  • "We were right on time for our reservations, but since it was Valentine's Day we had a little bit of a wait, but not too much; 15 minutes was not bad. The various cuts of meat were pretty good, but my Spouse says the quality at Fogo de Chao is much better. I'm not a super huge fan of steak, but the sirloin was tasty. I liked the bacon wrapped chicken, and the shrimp, chicken salad and the ceasar salad that I made at the salad bar. The waiters/waitresses were nice, but it seemed as I could never have a good conversation they would keep coming back asking is everything okay ever 10 minutes. The guy with the check just stood there for the credit card. Overall, good restaurant to try out and go to for the the atmosphere and the experience."

  • "We have experienced Brazilian Steakhouses in numerous locals in the U.S. as well as Rio de Janeiro. This was by far the highest priced one to date and the price was not in line with the quality of the food. Although none of the meats were overcooked, every one seemed to be dry on the palette. Also, several of the listed meat selections had to be specially ordered from the waiter because they were not regularly cooked and circulated as one should expect from this type of dining experience. On a positive note, the wait staff were very attentive and worked very hard."

This restaurant was decorated with style and class galore! Everything looked first-class.   • "The house special beef tasted exactly like Luby's roast beef.... And Luby's is much cheaper. Service was initially slow, but improved over time. The place is trying very hard to be an upscale restaurant, but the seating arrangement, noise level, and staff talent level is lacking..... But the cost is upscale. Drinks are way over priced, too. Vodka tonic @ $10+ each."

  • "We were here for NYE, so naturally it was crowded. This place is quite expensive, but the food is very good and the service was prompt and attentive. Some of the items are really outstanding and some are good or very good. It can vary from batch to batch depending on your personal tastes. We didn't have anything that wasn't good. One of the advantages of this place is that when you find something you really like you can tell them and they will keep on bringing it. The salad bar is well appointed and large, with a nice variety."

  • "I set up a reservation for 7 people on a Friday night at 7:15 pm. Obviously there was no need for a reservation because there was only one other table with people at it. The salad bar was a big disappointment. I have been to 4 other Brazilian Steak restaurants and this was the worst one. They show a choice of 14 different meats/seafood that will be brought to the table. We only received 5 or 6 choices. They started clearing out our plates when it some of us were not done eating and wanted more meat brought out. We all felt like we were being rushed. Not how you want to feel when you pay $43 per person. Too many other choices in Houston that do a better job."

  • "Tradicao is a great place for sharing a quiet, romantic dinner with someone special. Be prepared to arrive hungry; once you flip your token over to "green", you are surrounded by a parade of waiters serving every kind of steak imaginable. Don't forget to also try the grilled salmon, shrimp, and lamb chops. The lamb chops are fantastic, and are my personal favorite. The salad bar is also incredible, serving a huge variety of vegetables, cheeses, and salads. In the Brazilian tradition, upon sitting at your table with your salad, you also receive mashed potatoes, grilled plantain bananas, and cheese bread. You will definitely leave with a couple of inches added to your waist, and a smile on your face."
