Soup with spinach and oysters very flavorful and the salmon was prepared to perfection (not over-done). Started with the pupu platter that was fantastic. Great view and on a Wednesday night wasn't very crowded. Service was good not outstanding as it used to be. We hadn't been in a few years, but used to come all the time with my wife's parents who knew Freddie Fong a previous manager. Back then the service was impeccable. Trader Vic's is still a terrific place to go. Love their Cosmo Tid-Bits, Indonesian Lamb and the wonderful Snowball for dessert! New menu changes were good- like the Tuna Poke and chicken with lettuce cups! Really worth the trip over the bay bridge from San Francisco! Dinner choices - beware that they are different. They blend curry - pacfic tastes. Reservations are a must as the dining room is not overly large. The view is the marina and we watched the sunset. A little noisey - but also very friendly.

Well I love Trader Vic's, but the Easter Buffet was so so.
The pupus were great as always but the mahi mahi was way over cooked. For 50 bucks a person, it was overpriced, too.
