"I can describe our meal with one word: decadent! We sampled and shared a number of dishes off the appetizer and entree menus, each was a symphony of flavors featuring fresh seasonal produce. The cocktails were very good as well. I would definitely dine here again when visiting San Francisco."

"I had a disappointing lunch. The best thing about it was the service. The server assigned to my table was very personable and extremely efficient. I had the hamburger, which was good but not great. The menu mentioned mushrooms, but I didn't see or taste them. For dessert I chose the red velvet cake (big mistake) which was very dry. I will go back, because I have a feeling this was an aberration."

"The food was delicious, the ambiance lovely and service very good. The only negative was the very loud music coming from the bar which is right next to it. It could be toned down during the dinner hour."

"I enjoyed my lunch at Trace very much. The new decor is mostly monochromatic but very cool. The entire space sort of looks like a cityscape with the furniture representing tall buildings and the carpet looks like a map of city blocks.

The staff was attentive without hovering over the table. The food was wonderful with appropriate proportions, not too small and not too big, which left me enough room for dessert and a wet cappuccino even after having the burger.
