After many years of longing for a warm, welcoming place of character to have a proper cocktail - in comes Townhouse 275 : the first Speakeasy & Craft Mixology Bar in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Where bitters abound and spirits are infused in an ultra-dim setting of tin & wood & steel, this destination will be our answer to NYC's best joints for many years to come. Wanna be lounge but isn't quite making it. To become more of a fun lounge, this place needs an update and better drinks along with some basic food! There's almost no food. Spinach pie we ordered was horrible! Drinks menu looks inviting and trendy but drinks were pretty disappointing. Waiter was helpful but overly confident. Cherry mojito was just ok. Tasted a bit like medicine. This place could learn from places like Clover Club or Leyenda where drinks are exciting, new, and unusual.

one bartender also server did it all. no greeting no menu until you walk to the bar and ask for it. if you would like to sit there forever you are welcome nobody cares if you are there just hanging around

Came in for some after dinner cocktails and was not disappointed. the drinks were reasonably priced. the ambiance and decor were pretty good. I drank old Fashioned's while they ladies tried different cocktails involving many ingredients and many steps. The bartender was more than happy to help them decide and accommodate their decisions. The bar was a little dead (i thought) for a friday night, but it was like 10 degrees out. Im sure it does a lot better when there aren't sub arctic temps out. All in all it was a good experience and i'll definitely be back. side note: i left the food score blank as we came in late and only ordered drinks

I visited a friend in Brooklyn last weekend and being a lover of craft cocktails, thought this mm place would be great. The place is warm, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, there was no one else in the place the whole night. "LaLa" told us Friday nights were the busy nights. She makes a pretty solid cocktail. My friends from New York were impressed. I was OK that the bar was empty bc it gave us tell to talk and the bartender played a great Playlist. It is not a huge or "showy" place but I would like to see it thrive. Drinks are not expensive, boozy, and tasty.
