Really top notch food and drinks, executed with flair in a classy atmosphere that wasn't stuffy. Our waiter was a great guy who treated us like s friend who was showing off his new restaurant. We will be returning ASAP!

Love Towne and always make it a point to have dinner there when in Boston visiting my daughter. As a New Yorker, it takes a lot to impress me but this restaurant is right up there with the finest restaurants in NYC. Thanks for a great evening!

The food was really wonderful as it has been on our last 4 times there. Our service was not up to par. We had barely touched our cocktails when then salad arrived. We were sharing the salad and the popovers,but the kitchen did not split the salad and we had to track down a busboy to get an extra plate. We had the pan seared tuna special that was wonderful.
After a big gap in any attention from the server we ordered expresso and a dessert. The tine interval was about 15 minutes between the coffee arriving and dessert. The dessert had been sitting somehwere long enought so that the ice cream has melted on the bottom. Someone else got us a check and picked up the card.
SO not a great night out.

The menu offers exciting choices and every dish is outstanding in terms of taste, quality and presentation. The servers know the details of every dish's preparation and their recommendations about appropriate matching wine are on target. We were pleased to see Lydia Shira dining at her restaurant as a sign that she know every detail of her establishment and is present to address any short coimings. Outstanding!

Love the place. From the bar out front, to the other bar out back, the nice quiet bar upstairs and amazing main dinning room. Food, service and staff were great. There was this guy from Ecuador that was in top of everything. Will def go back!

Food and cocktails here were incredible! Service was very poor, our waiter said no one told him we were in his section when he finally arrived to take our drink orders after about half an hour. Too bad he was standing around ignoring us while we were waiting at our table with menus down for about 20 min. Very attentive bus-staff though I have to say. I would have gotten more cocktails and subsequently boosted his tip if he made an attempt to check on our meals at all once we received them, oh well. Overall, go for the food and the ambiance here, it's great!
