A word from Towne House Restaurant at Wine & Roses
Towne House Restaurant at Wine & Roses is a legacy to the country farm it once was. Magnificent trees and gardens remain at the heart of the land and embody the essence and authenticity of our heritage. Our inspiration comes from our childhood, our neighborhood, and our experiences.

Our cuisine is simple, but creative. We celebrate with fervor our terroir, our farms, our ocean offering a farm-to-table experience with products sourced from local and area farms, as well as our own garden. Our cuisine is made for sharing.

We believe dining should be fun with freshness and surprises in the menu, and warmth in the dining room. We love what we do and are devoted to creating and sharing the joys of food, friends, and family.

The Towne House Restaurant offers an exceptional, intimate dining experience and cozy evenings in the lounge where music is at the center with Kim and friends.

Haven't been in Lodi in decades and was very pleased to find this contempo restaurant and menu. Prices are awfully high for the region but they're making an effort to raise the bar in the area? I'd go back for a special occasion but not for regular dinner out as now there are so many nice dinning places in town that provide great food and service at a more affordable price.

The best boutique hotel in central California. This place is really cool. It appears very exclusive and makes you feel like you have accomplished something in your life. It is the place to take visitors to, especially when they are from out of town. It reminds me of a small village in the mountain tops of Scandinavia. Although it is in the middle of a small town, it has the ambience of rurality. Simply exquisite.

I surprised my wife with a birthday dinner and a night stay at the hotel. The restaurant was quaint and romantic. The food and service was excellent. We will return for dinner not only for special occasions but for an evening out. In fact my wife is planning a birthday dinner for me next month at Towne House Restutant at Wine & Roses. Thank you for a great evening

We have been coming to your restaurant for years and it always comes to mind when there is a special occasion in the family. Your cuisine is always innovative and fresh and delicious. We especially appreciate your servers' extensive knowledge of your wine and cuisine and their attentiveness to our every need. We will be back again and again.

I am always taken a bit aback at the beauty of this restaurant. Upon entering I always expect the dining experience to be just as wonderful. My husband and I have dined here a handful of times over the past few years and find the food to be mediocre. For us the food just simply does not match the quality of the venue. The food is always good, but nothing spectacular. We expect a venue of this magnitude to serve creative specials, instead of the same stable menu. This said, our food was satisfactory and wine excellent.

Three of us had lunch recently at Towne House and it was superb. Two of us had the salmon with green papya salad and coconut rice. The combination of flavors make me want to return soon and order the dish again. My dining partner had the Tamale pancake. It is also a perfect lunch. The service was excellent.

Towne House at Wine and Roses is firstly a fine setting for both the hotel, and the separate restaurant. The location is a verdant beauty that makes you feel good about horticulture at its best. Even more importantly, the restaurant menu, food and particularly service, are uniformly outstanding !

Our wedding was at wine & roses last year. It was so wonderful I'm still in awe about it. Unfortunately, our last lunch experience ruined that for us. We were hoping we could return every year for an anniversay lunch or dinner. The food was so plain and the service was just okay! For an upscale restaurant that we spent $88 for 2 people, we were so disappointed. :(

    OpenTable Diner Since 2005
    Dined on 9/19/2014
We have dined at the Towne House Restaurant for over 20 years. Last Friday, we took guests for dinner and were extremely disappointed in the quality of the food preparation. There was one standout dish on the menu and that was the clam chowder. some of the best we have sampled. The Deconstructed Beef Stroganoff was heavy and the mushrooms gamey and chewy. The scallops were almost tasteless and what taste there was left an odd metallic aftertaste. The Kobe Sliders were greasy and the bun over cooked, not to mention the taste was off. The part of our experience that lived up to our expectation for this restaurant was service which was truly excellent, and the ambiance which remains superb, especially as we were seated on the terrace.

Great place for a special occasion....My birthday! My seared ahi salad was yummy & my husband loved his Reuben sandwich. In spite of the very hot day, the lush plants & vines on the patio kept it cool enough to enjoy. The setting makes it feel as if we had stepped back in time. The house and all rooms are immaculate.

I have lived in Lodi my whole life and knew of Wine and Roses B&B. My wife and I have dined everywhere and FINALLY decided to try W&R, specifically The Towne House. What we found was a very comfortable upscale bar/lounge. It appeared to have a few local regulars. There was piano music and the pianist actually talked one of the 'regulars' to sing. They were both very good. The menu, though not extensive had some great items. Mid size plates, upper end pricing... $25-$50. Our waiter took care of us quite well. Overall, a VERY good dining experience. Why we never took advantage of W&R is still a lively topic of discussion.

I chose this place for a bachelorette brunch for 6 girls. This was my first time at Town House. I ordered the Florentine omelet with potatoes. While the omelet was decent and average, the potatoes had this odd fishy taste, as if they were cooked in the same pan/dish as fish was (or in close proximity?). I couldn't quite place the distinct taste. That said, the ambiance of the outdoor seating area was wonderful and I would come back here to try different dishes. Also, the service was great.

We were scouting this restaurant / location for our wedding venue and arrived with high hopes. From the start the place was beautiful and just absolutely breathtaking. We took a look around and were completely sold on the look of the place. But when we started dining at their restaurant, all other venues were no contest at that point. The service was so accommodating to us, seeing as we had a pregnant woman with us who was getting a little nauseous inside. They let us sit outside even though we were the only ones out there. The food was absolutely perfect, all 4 dishes tasted absolutely amazing and were all cooked and seasoned so perfectly. The bill was pretty high but it was well worth it to have an experience like that.

What a treat. My sister and I met in Lodi--a halfway distance between our homes--and we stayed at Wine and Roses. From entrance to the hotel's restaurant we were welcomed to great smiles and were sat in the dining room. Views of trees and a garden. Immediately were offered drinks and we chose a fresh blackberry Lemon Drop. Highly recommended! We split a Caesar salad which was tasty. My sis had a pasta dish with tomato stew and fresh mozzarella. Sooo yummy. I opted for chicken with a lemon gravy and whipped potatoes and creamed corn. Ohhh so good! Too full for dessert but sad we live so far because it's all craveable food!!

Both the Wine & Roses Inn and the restaurant are fantastic. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and found both meals to be perfect. We had the chicken for dinner and it was one of the best chicken meals we had ever tasted. Along with terrific corn and some super puffed mashed potatoes it was a meal to remember. The presentation was also beautiful and the amount of food perfect. The service was great and the view of all the gardens was beautiful.
