  • "We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints! From cocktails and appetizers all the way through dessert it's always delicious and satisfying!"

  • "Had lunch to celebrate two birthdays and everything exceeded our expectations! Food was excellent and plentiful. Service was above and beyond. Wonderful surprise with complimentary bread pudding at the end of our meal to top off the celebration. Great place to go for celebrations, special lunches or just an awesome treat!!!"

  • "Town's food is always delicious and it's always lively with a hopping bar scene! And ohhhhh the bread pudding is a must for dessert!!! To die for!!!"

  • "If I want to be sure the dining experience is great, then Town is IT! I was there recently with 2 friends, one of whom was celebrating a birthday. I had called Town ahead of time to advise there was a birthday girl with us. They asked for the spelling of her name. When we got to Town, special menus were printed to include a "Happy Birthday Gabriela" at the top. What a nice touch and perfect surprise. Thank you. The birthday girl loves Town's bread pudding, so it was a MUST for dessert. A candle was placed on the plate next to the bread pudding and she was delighted. The food was great, the attention to detail was so appreciated. Thank you for making the evening special."

  • "We went for a birthday celebration. Dinner was fantastic and the service excellent . We were never wanting for anything. A great local gem frequented by lots of interesting people sitting both inside and outside. The wonderful food is what really made it a delightful evening. Great drinks also. They make a good Cosmo!"

  • "Town treated us wonderfully!! We were celebrating Pre and Post Birthdays and the special menu customized to us and the dessert treat was awesome. We have never had a bad experience at Town and the food as always was fantastic. One of our guests enjoyed having so many Gluten Free options with the Gluten Free Menu as well. We have it on our Go To List when in the Peninsula! Thank you again for a delightful dinner and evening!"

  • "Good experience, but difficult to have a conversation. I recommend if you get placed at the table next to the kitchen and bar, don't bring a guest.....unless you don't have anything to say to one another:)"

  • "I am a frequent diner at Town, and cannot offer enough praise. Great menu, excellent preparation, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!! Note: J.J. has been there for years and is a standout Server!"

  • "My husband and I were at Town for our Anniversary dinner. We wanted to have the rib eye steak but it was 20 oz so we decided to split it. Although we ordered appetizers and sides, the waitress wanted little to do with us, I think she thought we were cheap and wouldn't give a good tip. We were treated to a special dessert and she agreed to take our picture, but she definitely had an attitude and we felt it."

  • "The great tasting perfectly cooked bone-in rib eye steak was complemented by two sides of my choosing: caramelized cauliflower and asparagus with parmesan cheese. The warm bread pudding was a wonderful ending to an unforgettable meal."

  • "Had wonderful service and a great time. We had a celebration dinner and glad that we had it at Town."

  • "TOWN has actually always been a good restaurant. There food is great, though the head chef I like and have known to be so consistent wasn't there and the food was a little "off". Otherwise, I still rather promote this venue. The only thing I would have to give it a bad review on is their front desk staff. The ladies are lovely but their attitudes and ability to be customer service oriented, is truly lacking."

  • "Town is always packed and always delivers. The food is good and consistent and the servers attentive. Okay from Turkey is one of the best. Great place for a fun lunch or dinner. The Napa cabbage salad is wonderful."

  • "Took some friends for their birthday and it was perfect. The food was excellent and the service was the best I've seen in a long time."

  • "This is the happening spot in San Carlos. Great food, fun cocktails and good bar scene. Menu is varied with something for meat lovers, seafood or salad for those wanting lower calorie but still delicious options. If you are looking for a nice mid-Peninsula spot, this is the place."

  • "We love Town! Its a fun place on a Thursday or Friday night at the Bar. For lunch or dinner, the food is delicious and consistent which is important. We recently came in on a Sunday afternoon. The chicken and waffles are exceptional - the waffle is lighter than air. The skin on the chicken crunchy and dense - what a combo. The Warm Napa Cabbage salad needs to be warmer but the pit roasted chicken on top was juicy and moist. Don't pass up the steak spring rolls - a must have! Ask for Antonio - he was attentive to the right degree and on his game as a professional server. Visit Town - you won't be disappointed, but make reservations!"

  • "They are unorganized or understaffed. Don't know which one, just know that we waited a long time for everything except the meal. My husband requested a knife and it never arrived. They ran out of the vegetable requested. The drinks arrived 10 minutes after ordering. And we had to flag down people for requested items. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with too many tables to wait on. While at the same time we saw staff standing around in other sections."

  • "Finally got to try the Sunday brunch. And I must say it was very pleasant overall. Our waitress was extremely helpful and attentive too. I took my time to read the menu before making my decision. Very happy with my choice, the Chicken and Waffle. The chicken was crispy/ tasty and the waffle was a plentiful portion. They also included a syrup and gravy like sauce that I used throughout. Loved their bottomless mimosa too! It never reached empty, our waitress was in top of her game. My bf got the Chilaquiles, and said it was amazing too. We also ordered the brown sugar bacon and potatoes as side dishes to share. Before I forget, they customized our menus because I mentioned it was my one year anniversary with my Bf. A wonderful touch!"

  • "There is such a variety of food to choose from, I want to keep going back to try everything on the menu. Don't get me started on those pom martinis the best ever!!!!"

  • "Birthday Party at Town. baby back rib is the one of the best. Sea bass is also great. Highly recommended."

  • "Once again, Town is impressive. We tried something new on the menu--the chicken enchiladas and the meatloaf. Both were excellent. And the california rolls are the best starter! Completely enjoyed the meal!"

  • "Town isn't one of our favorites, but is one of the nicer neighborhood restaurants in San Carlos. Service is usually very good. Their food always pleases. I don't care for the ambiance or atmosphere. Its always noisy. I can take it or leave it. Reservations are required, often a week or more in advance. I don't see what the big deal is, but do plan to wait if you try dropping in for dinner Thursday -Sat evening."

  • "Been here many times. The staff was fantastic, food was excellent, and we really had a nice birthday celebration for 8 of us. We were well accommodated for a busy Saturday night, too."

  • "Been for brunches, lunches and dinners and it's always great. Faves for brunches - benedicts - regular and crab; nutella french toast; lunches - fresh crab sandwich or burgers; dinners - petite filet with crab or scallops with risotto(although they took this one off the menu >=( ) - we'll often do a tapas dinner - just order a variety of their awesome appetizers - esp the sushi rolls, cajun shrimp, fried portabellos, their steak tacos - request medium rare is a must, and philly steak rolls - all so yummy! =)"

  • "Once again Town didn't fail in food, cocktails, and service. No tables - all booths make for a more private dining experience. Can't wait to go back."

  • "Liked the Power lunch. Service a little slow. Liked the booths for privacy."

  • "Our meal was well presented and delicious. The service was attentive but not over done. Menu has many options and both of us enjoyed what we ordered. A very busy restaurant and bar scene. Definitely a place to frequent when you want a good meal and to take a friend out to dinner."

  • "We had a small girls brunch here to celebrate a recent engagement. They had a custom menu for us which had a "Congratulations Vanessa" at the top. Our waitress was very kind and also brought out a free dessert all on her own along with a candle. I am looking forward to my next visit to Town!"

  • "A friend took me to Town for my birthday. It was my first time eating at Town, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the food, half bottle of wine, and the service. Because we had reservations at 5 pm, the kitchen was just opening when we arrived, so understandably we waited a little bit longer for our meal to arrive. When it did, everything was hot and delicious. I would definitely go back to Town again."

  • "The steaks/filet mignon choices and the side dishes were abundant- it was hard to choose. The warm napa cabbage salad never disappoints. Our waiter was attentive and never rushed us. The only thing that can be improved upon are perhpas adding a couple more fish entrees."

  • "Had a wonderful meal at Town. The service was impressive with the waiter catering to all our needs! The bread pudding was amazing...it was light not dense, sweet without being overly done. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Weekend brunch slightly expands the already good variety of lunch selections. My Dungeness crab sandwich served plenty of crab meat on a lobster roll. Two of our group had the steaks, which were cooked as ordered, and the fourth had the waffle chicken. We shared tastes, and all enjoyed each of the entrees. A side of sauteed mushrooms was tasty. Add a small salad and a nice bottle of wine from a small winery, and it was a pleasant dining experience. Our waitress was quite pleasant and quite knowledgeable about the menu and wine options. My wife and I have eaten at Town a few times, and it always shines."

  • "Recently had brunch here for five on a Saturday-- very busy place! The food was excellent-- bellinis tasty. Our service was a bit slow we did seem to wait around for the bill for some time. I will chalk that up to it just being busy. Friendly staff and food arrived quickly."

  • "just fine. Kind of a chain feel to it. Food was fine. Service was fine. It was crowded though and seemed to be a go-to spot for locals as it was packed on a tuesday night."
