A word from Town Hall - DC
Town Hall has relocated to 2340 Wisconsin Avenue NW in the heart of Glover Park. We provide a warm, comfortable neighborhood experience combining the quality and sophistication of American bistro fare with the relaxed atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern. Secluded booths in the dining room cater to the family looking for bit of well-groomed respite, while flat-screen televisions line the bar for the sports minded individual. Weekend nights also attract a fashionable crowd looking to escape the trappings of the established DC nightlife. Come springtime, we also open our large courtyard for unrivaled outdoor dining in midst of the city.

I went to Town Hall for Sunday brunch. We were a little early and they graciously accommodated us at the bar. Our food was good, but quite under-seasoned. Despite that, I absolutely recommend coming here, and I plan on returning soon.

I don't like the high top tables; I was going to brunch not a pub. We did end up sitting at a regular table. Next time, I will request a booth. The food was delicious! Our server was great, friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.

My two girlfriends and I went here for the first time and left very happy. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. Both of my friends got Mexican breakfast dishes and loved them. I got the blueberry pancakes with hashbrowns. The pancakes were perfect. I will definitely be returning and hope to check out lunch or dinner sometime.

I always enjoy coming to this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere are very good. I was particularly appreciative of the service during this last visit. The owner called me personally when he could not accommodate a request for a table given the restaurant's busy schedule that evening. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and good will. Our meal was well prepared and it was a good evening.

Family came in town for the inauguration and wanted to do brunch in Georgetown. I picked this place on a whim and I can't say there was anything wrong with our meal, service or the restaurant ambiance. Very lively brunch crowd. The menu has all of your brunch staples and a couple of their own dishes at a very reasonable price. It wasn't the greatest omelet I've had but it wasn't bad either. I liked their potatoes a lot. Llike I said, no complaints.

This is a cute enighborhood place with a simple menu and excellent pricing on wine. The service was great, our server checked on us after each course was served and came to refill our water and wine glasses. It was a great meal for a Sunday night, my only complaint is that the music was a little too loud and not all the songs were appropriate for the setting (it was more of an alternative rock mix- Green Day, etc.).

Went to Town Hall on a visit to DC with my husband and daughter. The server was friendly but may have been new as she needed a little more experience with the menu. Nonetheless, she was friendly and attentive to the table. We all enjoyed our meals - the DC Roll app was a hit. Both my daughter and husband agreed that the restaurant was a good choice.

The first time I've been to Town Hall since it moved up the street. My friend and I went for Brunch. Both of us dubbed our entrees delicious! I got the Eggs in the Middle dish -- two poached eggs over slices of sourdough toast with a side of yummy potatoes. My friend's request to make a change to one of the omelet menu items was honored without question. The wine (they offer several by the glass) was also very good. The server was competent as well as very personable.

Solid pub fare food -- I ordered the chef's special, 10 oz steak with rosemary potatoes au gratin. Steak was perfectly done to medium rare. One friend ordered the shrimp sandwich and they at first brought him a chicken sandwich, our server swapped it out and was very apologetic for the wait and delay -- but for that kind of a mistake I expect some sort of compensation -- a free dessert, free glass of beer, some small token. So thumbs down for dropping the ball on that.

This restaurant was like a better version of Chilis. The grilled cheese appetizer was comparable to something I could have made at home. The crab pasta was delicious, yet undersalted. The goat mac'n'cheese was by far the best thing we tasted, it was amazing! They bring you olive hummus and pita bread to start, however it becomes almost too much food with the addition of everything else.

The food was very good, but they have three different bars and there were always people walking back and forth through the dinning room to get from bar to bar. We were there earlier in the night so it wasn't too bad, but I could see this becoming a bigger problem as the night goes on.

The food and service at Town Hall was fabulous! All five different entrees we ordered were a big hit. Especially the flat iron steak and the shrimp entree. (The coconut grits that came with the shrimp was yummy& just what was needed to cut the heat of the shrimp. I would never have expected grits to be so tasty!) And worth mentioning twice, fantastic service!

    OpenTable Diner Since 2007VIP
    Dined on 5/6/2012
I live in the neighborhood and think Town Hall is a solid brunch option. However this Sunday we were not greeted warmly at all. We were told that the high top tables near the bar were not an option even though several were available. When I stated that I had a reservation and would like to be seated at one of those tables, the man very begrudgingly escorted us to one with a scowl on his face the whole time. Other than that unpleasant greeting, our server was great and the food again was solid and arrived very quickly!

The reservation form should say very clearly that you might get seated in the extremely noisy and raucous bar area rather than in the dining lounge. Normally, restaurants don't seat people with reservations in the bar but use that for walk-ins. This was different. I showed up with a reservation for me and my 16-year old daughter and we could barely hear each other during the meal since a bunch of sports fans were yelling to a hockey game in the bar.
