A word from Town Hall - DC
Town Hall has relocated to 2340 Wisconsin Avenue NW in the heart of Glover Park. We provide a warm, comfortable neighborhood experience combining the quality and sophistication of American bistro fare with the relaxed atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern. Secluded booths in the dining room cater to the family looking for bit of well-groomed respite, while flat-screen televisions line the bar for the sports minded individual. Weekend nights also attract a fashionable crowd looking to escape the trappings of the established DC nightlife. Come springtime, we also open our large courtyard for unrivaled outdoor dining in midst of the city.

Town Hall is located ¾ mile from the heart of Georgetown but is worlds away. Avoid the congestion and bustle of Georgetown and take advantage of our relaxed atmosphere in our friendly, inviting neighborhood.

Diner Reviews
  • "We were looking for an early dinner on a Friday night and made a reservation for 4 at Town Hall. Because it was earlier, it was still very quiet. We shared a quick appetizer, and each had a delicious dinner. The menu was pretty standard, but the food was a delicious and interesting variation."

  • "Quite often, when I want to impress someone new to the town, I will drop in a "Have you met my friend Town Hall?"...Once I have taken the person to Town Hall, the cycle continues."

  • "We went for brunch. It was good but not great. There was a young crowd & it wasn't too loud. We didn't hate it but I don't even remember what I ate."

  • "In a world where most moderately-priced restaurants provide a veneer of attention to detail and customer-care, this place shines. Our brunch entrees were lovely, well-prepared and tasty. Mine was below piping hot, so I summoned our waiter. The response was solicitous and professional. It seemed a matter of personal pride for both waiter and manager (who appeared with new entree within minutes) that the food at Town Hall is never served below their own high standards. The added (and unnecessary) offer of a comped dessert and coffee is rarely encountered in mid-priced establishments. By the way, my order was a very original presentation of huevos rancheros, with crisp, freshly fried hot corn tortillas layered between the eggs and beans. Yum."

  • "A novel take on American bistroism. Some of the food choices were unique especially desserts! s. Presentation was thoughtful. Service was just right. Would return and recommend."

  • "This is a casual restaurant. Nice brick facade, layout, and bar. We ordered two three appetizers, the Tartare, chips and onion dip, and brie. The brie which I am not normally a huge fan of, was quite good. The tartare had a great guacamole with the tuna. While this isn't unusual, their creation of the guacamole and seasoning of the tartare was quite good. The chips were good, but the dip was not to the taste of myself or my guest. But it was clearly well made. Recommended."

  • "A good compromise if only one person wants to watch the game and the other wants a real brunch. Food was great, coffee free-flowing."

  • "I didn't really care for this place, I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. I had the porkchop, it was huge and the apples on top were piping hot, the porkchop was luke warm. The goat cheese mac and cheese was a little dry for me, not bad but nothing spectacular. My boyfriend had the chicken. The vegetables were really food, but the chicken could have used more seasoning. Ambiance had a few too many college crowd folks for me, and my boyfriend felt uncomfortable. Average food, ok ambiance-- just too many options in DC to come back here."

  • "Great small town rustic feel, especially during the fall! Just a short walk down the hill to Georgetown for shopping. Would definitely recommend this place for a day of brunch, walking, and shopping."
