Tout Va Bien open since 1948 is the oldest French bistro in the theater district. every classic French dish you are looking for you will find for sure!!!! Escargot coq au Vin beef bourguignon steak au poivre lamb chops with garlic just a few examples. Tout Va Bien is now in it's third generation… and keeps getting better year after year. "This is a wonderful, quaint, and authentic French restaurant. Our server was a very attentive young man from Normandy. We had the filet of sole, which was grilled to perfection. We started with the cheese platter, including the most flavorful Roquefort cheese I have ever tasted. The wine, the ambiance, were superb as well. This was a surprise dinner for my birthday. It was perfect."

"Had prefix, only the mussels appetizer was decent. Hanger steak was very bland and thin like the kind from a diner instead of a proper restaurant. Salmon was either too fishy or overcooked. Creme brulee was very good.

Had to remind waited for water, barely got refills. Food took a while to come. Overall disappointing."

"our party of four was quite pleased with the evening at Tour Va Bien, We were there for a pre-theatre dinner and all took advantage
of the Prix Fixe, which is an excellent value. The food was good to very good. One of our party was particularly pleased with the mussels.
The Tarte Tatin was a big hit. The enjoyed the ambience but the eager and attentive staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. We will certainly
return"

"I wasn't too overly impressed with this place, the food was okay but really nothing special. We ordered off the pre-theatre menu, I had the mussels and my wife the coq au vin. Both were very basic with potato only sides, no other veggies. Service was friendly and atmosphere was lively if not a little noisey. Not too bad for a quick, reasonably priced pre-theatre meal, but plenty of better places to go."

"Service was very good, the staff was very nice. I ordered the Coq Au Vin and thought it was kind of bland. I had the same dish at a few French bistros in Europe and they were all very tasty. However, the escargot was good and my friends' dishes were good as well."
