A word from Touro Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Touro Churrascaria offers a unique dining experience that is unlike the traditional Western-style steakhouse, we use a fixed-price dining concept known as ‘Rodízio’. This service style features continuous table-side service of a wide variety of select cuts of beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and seasonal seafood. The ‘Rodízio’ service also includes an exquisite salad and appetizer island featuring in-house baked breads, cured meats, imported cheeses, and a vast array of greens and vegetables.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "I made a reservation for a 60th birthday, I made the reservation a couple of weeks before and we were sat at a table in the bar. It was not conducive to being able to talk with each other. When confirming the reservation, I asked if there was live music and I was told yes. I did not experience any live music. Your website states there is live music and that is one of the reasons we chose the restaurant. When we asked for a different table we were told not until 9:00 (we were there at 7:30). We ordered al a carte which I think was disappointing for our servers. Our female server was excellent and was the best part of the evening. We will not nor will our friends go to your restaurant again . Sorry"

  • "Everything was good until we were told that there was a 2 hr limit that we weren't aware of to begin with. We were asked to move to the bar if we were staying longer. If we have to wait for our meat selection to be well done, then 2 hours isn't enough. There were other empty tables so why bother the customer when they are paying a $500.00 (+ 20% optional gratuity) bill and are enjoying their dessert?"

  • "Touro was fantastic! Enjoyed the Rodizio service with my family. All staff were kind, courteous, and welcoming. Excellent variety of meat! Atmosphere is not too dim or bright. It can get noisy, depending on the other guests dining - I've only been once and there were a lot of big groups at the time. The cinnamon brown sugar pineapple is perfection! I will most definitely be coming back for the next occasion!"

  • "Meat quality is very good, all kind of beef juicy and tender, lamb leg very juicy too, better than other Brazilian Grill place. However, even we make a reservation 2 days ago, we need sit at the bar area instead the dinning room. And the waitress is new, and didn't take care customer well all the time, i.e. didn't change plate for us and didn't refill water. She seems like try her best, as what I said she's new being a waitress. All over is pretty good and will go back."

  • "the waiter we had was very energetic and if it wasn't for him the experience would have been a lot worse. the meats and chicken were very salty and the sausage inedible. I've eaten in a similar restaurant in Niagara Falls and we were expecting the same - absolutely not. Wouldn't go back."

  • "Touro has a great atmosphere. The decoration and decor is magnificent. The most dishes are Ok, however you need to request more of the things you like. (I.e. Bacon wrapped fillet mignon bites) This request will take a bit of time for it to come back around. Salad bar is very nice. If you have eaten dim sum before this is exactly the same concept except 10x more expensive. Approx. 35-40 dollars per person. Tax and tip included."

  • "Rodizio is a unique and interesting dining experince and Churrascaria does an excellent job recreating this Brazilian speciality here in Canada."

  • "I have to say the idea behind this restaurant is genius. They also pull it off perfectly. Constant food only you dictate when and how much. The quality is out of this world and you can't find it's equal."

  • "We had a great anniversary dinner. You are provided a wine list on an iPad which is organized by region. The appetizer bar is filled with a wide variety of salads, side dishes and vegetables. The meat is amazing. You can choose between medium and well done on each spit. My husband was very impressed as he loves meat. You are able to have a conversation as the waiters quietly ask if you want the meat they are serving and if not, they leave. They try to limit their conversation which is nice as it provides a nice environment for a romantic dinner. That does not mean they are not friendly. The waitress was very friendly and made sure we were well provided for. The grilled pineapple is to die for!"

  • "hostess graciously walked us over to our table. Our server then came and introduced himself. We looked at the menu and we said we wanted a la carte not Rodizio. He right away said that he will need to move us from this table as they do not serve a la carte here. He walked us back to the bar area and made us sit at the bar. My wife looked at me and I asked him if we would be given a sit down table for dinner ? I guess he had thought that we would be okay eating at the bar...I don't think so!! He walkd away to the hostess and in a couple of minutes came back to apologize and said that he will be taking us back to the " same ' table and we will be served a la carte hmm. So this was our first time here and I was not pleased at all.."

  • "Not quite what I was expecting. Offered a good variety of appetizers, not a wide variety of meats. The portions of meat were good, however they managed to serve some lamb to our table which was still raw, which we weren't happy about. For a place that prides themselves on the meats they serve, that certainly didn't do them justice. The service was good at first, the meat was being served promptly, however, within less than a half hour the service had slowed to a point where you had to request what you wanted, and it became hard to flag down a server. Overall atmosphere was good, loud but not overwhelming. All in all, I'd say it's worth a try."

  • "Touro is a trendy atmosphere with sensational service and endless amounts of savoury dishes. It wasn't just a meal but instead an experience! With 12 cuts of meats to decide upon, it's crucial to bring a large appetite. The selection of sides from the open buffet is also remarkable from soups, salads, cheeses etc. I have had lunch and dinner, each time was treated outstanding. Highly recommended. The environment is good for family, colleagues and/or a group of friends."

  • "I have been to this resturant at the NIagara location in a hotel and it was so noisy and crowded there, I could not even observe anything therel. But it was a different experience this time around. THe resturant was very quiet, calming. I loved the atomsphere, the decor and everything with it. There's a party room...i like the fact that they serve the meat at the table, so it would usually be fresh and hot. Great place to go to!"

  • "We used to come to Touro Steakhouse at least once a month however, our last visit was a complete disappointment. We were totally ignored by the waitress and the serving staff. After appetizers were served we sat for at least 20 minutes watching servers who are serving meat going around other tables but ours.We actually had to get up and keep waving for someone to come over. It wasn't until half an our later when the waitress finally decided to come over to our table and ask us if everything was OK. We pointed out the fact that servers are avoiding our table, but the issue has not been rectified. Every time we had to ask her something, she seemed to be annoyed. We called the manager on a numerous times but he or she didn't bother to show up."

  • "Good food, good service with the exception that the host/hostess who were ignorant at best. Salad bar is typical and a bit boring though."

  • "Attended with my family on a busy Saturday evening. The decor is very nice and the restaurant is clean. The food was good not great, however, the service was slightly rude and hurried. The pineapple was amazing. While the evening was enjoyable, I would not be likely return as there are better choices in this price range.."

  • "The atmosphere was lively, decor very open and food was great, in particular the garlic meats, lamb and picanha - delicious! The various types and cuts of meat all made it to our table at least twice during the 1.5 hour meal (so have some patience and enjoy the experience). The lamb had not made it to our table, but the waiter was nice enough to check up on us and make sure that we were served the lamb within 5 minutes. I had a disappointing experience at my last Brazilian outing (at a different location) but Touro erased those memories - very enjoyable!"

  • "When you reserved a table for 7 peoples, it was supposed to have the table ready at your arrival but it was note the case. We we're sit in an uncomfortable table even though they had better tables to accommodate us. As we ordered our drinks it took a eternity to come to our table. The buffet is poor and low quality and do not express the Brazilian culinary and variety given that here in Canada we have all ingredients to make it happen. The only good thing is the waiters and personnel very amicable."

  • "If you are looking for a french fine dining experience with small portions and drizzle on your plate. Wrong place. If you want an unthinkable amount of meat served to you right at your table any time you beckon. Here is the place. There is a small buffet area with some foliage if you need to have your veggies or salad, as well as a few starch items. I think a soup or 2 and a few entree items, but we did not go for that. All the meats are of a decent cut. seemed to be seasoned pretty well, and they will bring you the temperature you like if you just ask for it. Rare, well done, just ask and it will arrive. Not Hy's, but again for what they offer, very good quality and selection Service is always good. and the restaurant is clean."

  • "our server was nowhere to be found after we had settled in the first 15mins. it took forever for a variety of food to be brought around. the meat was dry and salty. it took the server almost a decade to refill our drinks as well; however, he was quite quick to bring us the bill when we had asked for it."

  • "We came on 2 occasions: 1. Chinese New Year. We have a party of 7 and they gave us a private room. Very nice. Plenty of food. Loved the grilled pineapple. Sausages had a bit more salt than we ususally like. But, once a while it is OK. 2. March break brunch, we had less people. We have a 2 year old. We came early at 11am. Service was nice. It would be great if milk or orange juice is part of the buffet. Cold table is average. The beef and chicken is very nice and again the grilled pineapple is excellent."

  • "We arrived at noon, shortly before the rush. My 3 year old had many options to choose from the buffet, and she enjoyed the bacon-wrapped chicken bites and cinnamon-crusted pineapple. (I wish they offered ice cream to go with it!) I was happily impressed with the sirloin, and the ordered omelette - very flavorful. My only disappointment was with their sausages - the ones we got were a tad dry, but they were the last 3 on the skewer. New items (i.e. peas) came out later - so pace yourself we you want to try everything. The lighting in the restaurant is very funky and captivating for little kids. The high ceilings keep the noise levels very manageable, nice ambiance."

  • "There where no washroom signs, I found myself wondering looking while the the washrooms were right beside our table. They also didn't serve any fish or seafood which was disappointing. They had no toilet paper roll despencer in the washrooms, just stacks of toilet paper rolls. Other then that fantastic food, and decor is beautiful! Whatever food we liked they were willing to bring out more and the food didn't stop !"

  • "The Rodizio meat and service was very good. However, the buffet was disappointing since it was not as good as last year. Last year, I would have recommended this restaurant even though it is rather expensive. This year, because the buffet is not as good, I can't recommend it. Buffet has little variety in salad and no dessert."

  • "We like going here with the kids because they enjoy the freedom to choose what they want and don't want from the roaming gauchos. My 9 year old enjoys turning the coaster from green (when he wants it) to red (when he needs a break) throughout the meal. A good option for mixed groups of all ages. The meat is tasty and the sides are plentiful and varied, including both hot and cold options."

  • "Opportunity to try many cuts of meat in the same meal. Kids loved the swords . Whole process was fun. As a vegetarian myself I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and price reduction for non- carnivores. Great wines and desserts too."

  • "Given the high prices, I expected better. The side dish bar was not good. Food was Luke warm to cold. Not much selection. Meat was ok however somewhat tasteless. I don't give this place long."

  • "Poor service, poor selection of food, food was cold, soda was warm. Shouldn't it be the other way around?? Took forever to get served and even took longer to get my bill. Wouldn't go back. Worst Brazilian "rodizio" ever."

  • "I am an absolute meat lover.....I took my boyfriend for his birthday, and he is not much of "beef" eater and he was amazed at the variety of meats that came around....Everything from several cuts of beef, to lamb, to chicken...you name it it came by...I there on a Sunday, which seemed quieter than probably a Friday or Saturday night, so there was no pressure to leave and we stayed for about 2.5 hours which really gave us the opportunity to try everything without feeling pressured. I would definitely go there again."
    Dined on 2/23/2014
  • "I've been to several other Brazilian steak houses and ALL have better tasting meat. Even the salad bar at this place was horrible. The pp cost is also more expensive than other restaurants at 45 a head and for larger groups they automatically add an 18% gratuity??? The service was okay and the decor is nice but the meat is dry and they kept skipping some people at our table. My uncle was getting upset. Never again. If you like good food DO NOT go here."

  • "My parents and friends really enjoyed tonight's dinner here at the restaurant. Jenny was fabulous and took care of us. She was lightning quick with the drinks we ordered and always puts on a smile. She made our tonight really enjoyable! The food was amazing. All of us at least gained 10 pounds. Picanha, Beef Ribs, Bottom Sirloin, Garlic Steak, and the Salmon was delicious! Triple A quality. It was our first time eating grilled pineapple; very unique way of cooking it with cinnamon. Awesome night! Will definitely come back!"
