  • "This was our second time dining here, and the experience was just as good. The food is delicious, something for everyone. Our server was good, she forgot a couple of items that were ordered, and was mistaken on another, but she corrected her errors quickly and without being flustered. We were also comped a couple of items to make up for the errors, we appreciated this, even though we didn't expect it. Standout dishes: Crawfish Beignets; Frisee Salad; Shrimp, Crawfish and Andouille with Creamy Grits; Lime and White Chocolate cheesecake. Excellent cocktail menu. Will definitely be back when we return to Seattle."

  • "We went to Toulouse to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. Our experience started off bad, and went downhill from there. I reserved a booth for 7, but when we arrived, we were told that the only booth was being held for a party of 8. Instead, they crammed us into a table meant for 6, without any apology or taking responsibility for their mistake. We all ordered appetizers before the main course. Before everyone was done with their appetizers, the wait staff begain to bring out main courses (not enough room on the table for 6), rushing those still eating their appetizers. To top it off, 2 of the main courses arrived cold. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Overpriced, terrible service, and poor food. Stear clear."

The crusty bread is served with real butter, not the ubiquitous olive oil one now finds. Wait staff is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. A great find and we will recommend."

The wait for food was longer than usual, our 2 steaks came overcooked, and our waitperson forgot a glass of wine order completely. However, our steaks were comp'ed, the rest of our meals were divine and we will still come back!"

As a native of New Orleans, I was surprised to see a restaurant offering so many creole/cajun items...which led me to consider whether the chef knows the difference. 'Crab Maison' was decent, fried pork cheeks a bit overcooked. The blackened yellow snapper over grits was excellent...very nice seasoning. The service was abysmal. Asked for a drink menu with my entree and the waitress finally came back to take my order after I had finished my meal. Sat with empty plates in front of us for 10 minutes before the waitress returned with the check! Never asked if we wanted dessert. How rude! Skip this place. Go to Pink Door instead. "

  • "We visited happy hour and went on to dinner....hard to do once you are stuffed with the finds to had on the extensive and budget friendly happy hour, not to mention the excellent (and not too sweet!) Hurricane cocktails. Dinner itself was very nice, I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a side of greens. I couldn't finish (afore mentioned Happy Hour was the cultprit) and my only quibble was that when packing up my leftovers, the server left the greens behind. All in all, this is a busy, vibrant and fun spot for drinks or a meal. I recommend it."

  • "My wife and I ate here before attending the opera. First there was a mix up with our OpenTable reservation. The restaurant reserved us a table in the bar area, to compensate the loss of a table in the restaurant. This was nice, versus not having a table, but meant we were sitting on bar stools for the meal. We started by sharing a beet salad, which was mediocre in quality, and over sauced. My wife had a charred white fish (too salty) and I had the fried chicken (too small). The chicken, which was advertised as 1/2 of a petite chicken, ended up being 2 wings and a slice of breast smaller than a wing. I also had a single cocktail. Total bill was over $70, which is too high given the lower quality of the food or our experience."

We ended up having to eat our main course in 15 minutes in order to make our theatre curtain time. Some of the food was cold, though my pork porterhouse was perfect. I would come back because of the extensive menu, but I may have to plan more than 1.5 hours if I'm on a tight schedule. "
