The food, service and ambiance was wonderful. Really enjoyed it. Have been before for breakfast and dinner was just as good. The only disappointment was when we booked our reservation it asked if we were celebrating anything. It was my Birthday and it was never acknowledged in any way. A little disappointing.

We were a party of 6 & some of us arrived late and we were all needing to get to a show by 7:30pm. Our waitress and other wait staff handled everything with ease, friendliness and great attitude. The atmosphere is romantic yet lively with hundreds of actual (not battery operated) votives lining the walls. The menu is hugely diverse which made us nervous, but all of our food (and drinks) were good.

Always a fun and flavorful eating adventure with wide range of food options. Service was impeccable from waitress, sommelier and servers. They were very busy on a Friday at 7pm but food was timely, not rushed nor delayed and uncompromised as to tastiness, presentation and warmth. Drinks and wine great. The slice of pecan pie that finished the meal was huge but luckily there were four of us to share. We do find the bistro noisy atmosphere a bit of a distraction and the installation of some acoustical softening would be our only minor suggestion.

Toulouse Petit never disappoints. And sometimes even surprises me by taking their service to the next level. This visit, in particular, we had outstanding service and attention to our 2 & 4 year olds. While not ideal to bring the little ones with us to dinner, we couldn't avoid it on this bustling Friday night. However, our server was instrumental in making it an easy experience. Right when we sat down, at the same time she delivered our menu's, she verbally listed options for the kids & put their order in immediately. Our most noteworthy dish this time was a dessert: bananas foster. Wow. So good! We all agreed we'll need to come back and try their "french toast" version at brunch! Overall wonderful meal & experience. Love this place.

Our server (Steichen) was fantastic. Traffic was brutal in getting their: we had 45 minutes to eat when we were sat. We informed the server of this, and she rocked it. We each did three courses and they could not have been more perfectly timed. Dinner was good: really creative and flavorful.

The food is great, with pairings that are surprising but excellent in taste. The wine menu is almost overwhelming. At no point do they pretend to be authentic french (which is good) but the influence shows in a good way. the service for a full place was very good. the only draw back was the very loud music and everybody trying to talk even louder to compete with the music.

Pro: We had a table of six and everyone liked their dinners. The service was spot on and the menu had enough items for everyone to find something they liked. Faux Orleans, mostly. Con: Remarkably noisy. It was tough for everyone at the table to hear anyone but the person directly next to them. The staff cleared plates so quickly it felt as if the priority was turning over the table, not the dining experience of the customers. Not really New Orleans beyond jambalaya on the menu and some marketing.

We come down from Edmonds every couple months to eat at Toulouse and we've never been disappointed. They have a large menu, but skip to the last page for the real stuff (Gumbo, Jambalaya, and all around Creole goodness). The cocktails are first rate, especially the Hurricane.

Our party of five came separately (in two cars). One car got stuck in traffic and these guests were quite stressed by the time they made it to the table (and were probably wondering why they agreed to come in the first place). After five minutes, their stress dropped away as they read the menu and were offered lovely cocktails. By the time dinner arrived, the traffic was a distant memory, and everyone was having a terrific time. The seating was comfortable and conducive for group conversation. The desserts were amazing,(must try the bananas foster). We had a good time and hope to go back when we visit Seattle again.

3.5 stars for the entrées (the gumbo and jambalaya were both only alright), 4 stars for service (waitress could've been a bit more attentive but she was patient in explaining their specialties), and 5 stars for everything else (the house hurricane, the crawfish beignets, and the mixed berry cobbler were all superb)!! Coming from Germany, we reserved a table already well in advance. We liked the name and the description of the restaurant in the internet very much. We met friends in Seattle and had selected this restaurant to start our common vacation. The meal and wine was delicious, the service very attentive and we enjoyed the evening. The only minus was the noise level (maybe due to Friday night?), being 4 people it was sometimes quite strenous to talk to each other. But we enjoyed our stay in the restaurant and always compared the service received with the service of other restaurants during our travel through Washington and Oregon. We were sorry that before flying back to Germany we had no possibility to enjoy the Toulouse Petit once again.

The overall dining experience was much better than a regular dining experience at Seattle restaurants. Oftentimes I find local restaurants either have wonderful food with small portions or very average highly expensive food. At Toulouse, the food design was healthy and filled with a variety of wonderful spices and sauces. I had the Jumbalaya, my dad had the burger, can't remember what my wife and mom had (maybe fish) but they loved their food. We each had salads. The wine/drink list was well designed and complemented the food well. It's a great neighborhood restaurant as well as a destination restaurant. I've eaten there after events before and the food has been very consistent.

We sat down to our 9:30pm reservation with high hopes. The menu looked absolutely amazing. The noise level was high, and the music being piped in was a very loud pop selection, which didn't add to the candle-lit, old-fashioned New Orleans feel. That didn't bother me much, since it was a late night on a weekend, so the party scene was awake! However, with being so prepared for the busy night, you'd think they would have staffed accordingly. Over 45 minutes after we were seated one of the wait staff finally seemed to notice we hadn't been helped and took our order. The food and drinks arrived in a much more timely fashion, and were exquisite! The jambalaya was the best. Our server was very sweet, I just wished we'd met her earlier.

The Pre-Fix Menu is always a nice offering and draw to this restaurant! We had a party of 5, we all ordered off the pre-fix. All was good, accept I was a bit disappointment with my scallops, 3rd course. The scallops where not seared nor cooked to perfection on the raw side and saturated with oil or like water logged. Two scallop 3rd course prep to choose from, and mine was not acceptable to my standards as for shellfish preparation goes. Another dining with me also ordered the other scallop 3rd course, and I tasted this as well and the same, scallops were not a good sear & oil logged. Overall we enjoyed the selections, etc. I was happy to pick up the bill, but wished I had mine re-cooked to my liking.

Keep trying to find a great restaurant near Seattle Center because we are frequently there. This was our second try @ Toulouse Petite, because the first there was an hour wait, so this time made a reservation. The ambiance & wait staff were all very friendly & took the time to answer all our questions. Food was timely & absolutely wonderful. We had pasta dishes, crab, & the lamb burger-presentation was beautiful & the flavors out of this world. Drinks were delicious but slowin coming. In all, loved dining there & plan to return again & again.

started with the pear a dox, yummy, light and refreshing. both girls had the cauliflowered, asparagus and truffled oil soup with the crab and chervil, the creamy texture and the light truffled accents were superb, our favorite for the night. Shared the crawfish beignets, fried green tomatoes (tasty and crisp) and crispy fried pork cheeks (a little dry, somewhere between crispy and melt in your mouth, perhaps on a thinner slice of bruschetta). limited on time, open tabled reservations and dined and made it to Benaroya in plenty of time. many thanks.

After reading reviews, we had great expectations. On the good side, the wine list IS amazing. The food had inspiring ingredients but in some cases fell short. Example: prawns with red basil and coriander that was so salty you could barely taste the flavors. The pecan pie IS awesome, though. I would go again, but not expect perfection. :)

Chose Toulouse as it was close to the hotel where out of state friends were staying. I arrived early and from the minute the valet took care of my car and the bar tender mixed my drink I was enjoying the restaurant. Once we were seated, which was spot on the time of the reservation, our server Heather made our dining experience great. She made several "personal" favorite suggestions after we had all decided to go with the fixed price menu selections. Even the fixed price menu selections were extensive. We all ordered something different for each course and they were delivered in a timely manner, never felt rushed at any time. It was a busy night but we felt treated like long-time regulars. Great food and service.

Not all customers are on the same level. You have "A-Hole" Kids (21-25) that destroy the ambience for professional adults looking for a professional dining experience. My fault for going to a top 10 restaurant I guess. Food was as expected although, when I ordered a rare filet, (Explained that it must be “rare/cool in the center”) I was more than disappointed when it came out medium to medium well $60.00 is an inexpensive price but only if it’s done right. I here breakfast is better!

We (a middle-aged couple with adult son and girlfriend) enjoyed a great meal at Toulouse Petit on a Monday evening. The food was great - beet salad a highlight. As were the drinks - especially recommend 'Atomic Orange' for a refreshing summer kick. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the 3-cheese plate; the cheeses were all wonderful, but the portions very tiny. And the reason for 4 instead of 5 for ambience is that it was a bit loud to have a conversation at times. However, if there was an option for 4.5 out of 5, I would have gone for that for both.
