Our server was excellent--so pleasant and knowledgable. She spoke slowly so you could really here everything she told us about a dish or clarified ingredients. We will definitely be back and want to try one of their steaks. They smelled great and come at sizzling from the kitchen."

It's a beautifully appointed restaurant with a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Ingredients are ultra-fresh and are part of a very creative array of nightly specials. From the regular menu, the house-made pastas and sauces are not to be missed. The wine list is not long, but presents some outstanding choices at some affordable prices. For a very special day and evening, take in the special history of this little City and cap it off with a visit to Toscano. You'll be glad you did."

If you don't see something on the menu, just ask and you may be surprised to have a dish made for you. I can't say enough about the food - the best and freshest ingredients make everything delectable. The staff is so friendly and focused on providing great service that you will always be treated like royalty - from the minute you walk in the door.   • "I love to dine at Toscano. I have areal problem when a special is double the amount of the usual menu items and they dont tell you or post the price. My friend and I both had the Veal Oso Buca special. After getting the bill and feeling it was more then it should be we noticed our special was 48.99 each Ouch I have never paid that much for Veal Oso Buca even at 5star rated NYC resturants. It might be a while till I go back to Toscano but l'm sure I will one day."

  • "Amazing food prepared with fresh ingredients / this place know what they're doing. Excellent wine list. Staff was amazing. Avoid the back if they have large parties - get's a bit loud. However - nothing else to complain about. GREAT EXPERIENCE - 3 separate times now. Must comment on the EXCELLENT STAFF. Great synergy and unselfishness - water glasses and bread basket always filled. Multiple staff stopped by to see how we were doing - but not to a point were it was annoying. Watched the staff clean and prepare a table - took 9.8 seconds ;-) Kudo's to the management (and of course to the chef's and preparer's - mise en place)."

  • "We went to celebrate our Anniversay on a Tuesday night. I did not know that they had a "Tasting" Menus that night. They have this offering on Monday and Tuesdays only. Not cheap, not too pricey and worth trying. Normally Tasting Menus are small versions of the basic menu and not very good. This one was the exception - regular portions and excellent food. I had a LARGE bowl of crab bisque, a butterfish that dare I say was like butter, and a tiramasu. My husband ordered off the menu - a veal special and eggplant appetizer and chocolate cheescakse with peppermint ice cream. Meal was the best we have had for a long time. Am planning to go again. Would recommed that you ask for the Upper Level when you make reservations."

  • "I've eaten here a bunch of times and always enjoyed the food and the service. I went last Friday and the place was pretty crowded and a bit too noisy. We ordered a nice bottle of wine which the server decanted for us. Nice touch! The appetizer was a tomato, buffalo mozzarella and eggplant stack. Nice juxtaposition of textures. Then the main course. My lady had a butter fish stuffed with crab. Very flavorful and delicate. I ordered the specially aged porterhouse. I'm a steak guy and I know that aged meat is superbly tender and flavorful. The steak arrived done to perfection. Unfortunately, it was as tough as shoe leather. That tells me they aren't aging quality meat, but cheaper stuff. They took it off the bill, but it was a bad experience."

Our waitress was attentive but seating is a little tight so you do have servers bumping into each other as they try and explain the specials. Can get crowded so I would suggest making a reservation.   • "The service and food are always exceptional. It was a Sunday, so we chose from the Family-Style Dinner Menu which I highly recommend for large groups. We enjoyed the Bacon-Dusted Calamari and Italian Eggrolls as an appetizer, Chopped Antipasto, and Penne Vodka. For our main courses we had the Chicken & Shrimp Bellisimo (the marsala wine sauce has such a fantastic flavor) and one of the best Chicken Parmagiana I've ever tasted. And of course, you cannot leave Toscano without having one of their signature desserts. The four of us had the Maple Crème Brulee, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Custard, and Tiramasu. Can't wait to visit again for New Year's Eve!!"
