Diner Reviews
  • " every thing perfect, until they show us to the table, the waiter took good 10 minutes to ask us for our cocktails, then it took forever for them to bring them, then dinner pasta over cook, the NY steak, over cook. It was not a pleasure to be there. When I made the reservation throw Open Table, I wrote we were celebrating a Birthday and asked for a cake, of course they didn't have it, they didn't even ask. Then the check, at this time I understood what has happened, the TIP was included, and of course, we we not warned about it, so if you don't review carefully , you double tip even if is not your intention, This policy of tip included might benefit the waiters but in the long run it back fires to the restaurant"

  • "The Seafood Risotto was out of this world. They have a great kitchen. I enjoyed the prefix menu. Every expensive restaurant should have one. I found the lunch menu a bit expensive. $90 for two and we didnt have any alcohol. They have to work on that. Otherwise, its an excellent place. Definitely a do-over."

  • "Burrata and ceviche to start, both were delicious. They served the app and main a little too fast, would have liked some more time to digest inbetween. Competing music from bar across the street killed the ambiance a bit. Overall good service. I would recommend and return."

  • "Food was good, service was some of the finest I have ever enjoyed. We were a quiet table of two on a Saturday night, adjacent to a six-top and a twelve-top with 6 kids. I couldn't have been more impressed by the experience. The kids were young but well parented. At no time did the noise level rise above a dull murmur. Brickell Heights is an upcoming neighborhood, and the locals are lucky to have this fine restaurant among their dining options."

  • "Gotta get the polipo sautéed octopus with Garlic and butter. Amazing! You really cant go wrong here with anything on the menu. Big Fan of this restaurant!"

  • "The food was really, really delicious. Fresh handmade pasta, great sauce, good wine pour. Very good. I wasn't too keen on the decor, I like modern very much, but this was cold and they have a wall of women's handbags, glassed in, which i found odd. I would definitely go back for the food but the place needs a few warm touches."

  • "Clean pleasant food, great selection and something for every palate. Flavor could be enhanced as I rarely add table s&p, which I had too."

  • "Got to try this place out. If you are in the mood for great Italian unlike other south florida restaurants, this is the spot. The Octopus Appetizer is probably the best in Miami. The Masheroni Zuchero unbelievable!"

  • "Homemade pasta was excellent. We tried four different preparations and all passed muster. wine list robust. Service very attentive and pleasant. Salad and starters unremarkable."

  • "The food and service were good, except when my fish arrived there were no vegetables served with it so I had to order them and wait about 8 minutes for them to arrive. I would have appreciated the suggestion from the waiter at the time I made the original order. When they did arrive, they were delicious. Just like the fish!"

  • "Great Wine list and service Food preparation excellent Service was just right "

  • "Great food, excellent wine the only problem, the server thought he was in the army with him being the General and we the soilders. Not justifiable but perhaps because we were a large group. I will not go there again for a large group buiness dinner, though I will return on my own."

  • "Absolutely, by far, the best Northern Italian restaurant in South Florida. The staff, service and of course, the amazing food are never less than exceptional! Chef Julian is truly gifted, an artist without pretense. From casual outdoor lunch or cocktails, to elegant dinners, our favorite place to dine in Miami!"

  • "The food was very well prepared and nicely plated. It was a busy Easter lunch and all our food came at once, but it was delicious. I will definitely return to try more dishes, there were many I wanted to taste. I strongly suggest sharing many of these delicious dishes so you can taste more, well worth it! "

  • "We dined at Toscano Divino in early April and were able to dine al fresco. The restaurant is in the middle of the lively Mary Brickell village so the atmosphere is vibrant. Our server was most attentive and recommended some very good, not over-priced wines to go with our meal. My husband had white anchovies, unknown in our home town as well as the soup du jour, both of which he enjoyed. I had the rucola salad which was delicious. I very much enjoyed the Porchetta, a braised pork which was meltingly tender. My husband followed suit with the Guanciale, a braised veal cheek dish. He enjoyed it too but we both liked the pork the best. Very nice Good Friday meal."

  • "Toscana Divino is a spectacular find - the best Italian food in MIami, occassionaly even better than Italy. All preparations are authentic, the products are high end, and always served with attentive care. The owners and staff are serious about creating a fun cosmopolitan dining experience for knowledgeable diners. Start with a Negroni at the bar, try the pici with duck ragu, don't miss the amazing Fiorentina - expensive but worth it, competes easily with upscale steakhouses nearby. Nice people, great food, fun place. Auguri!"

  • "When we walked to this restaurant there was a large fenced off party in front of the restaurant celebrating st. Patricks day. When the bouncer at the door stopped us for ID we explained that we had a reservation at the restaurant, he still would not let us in without ID, so aggressive. My husband had ID of course but I didn't bring a handbag, therefore no ID for me. We then made our way to,another entrance where a middle aged bouncer let us in, common sense prevailed , but put a bad taste in our mouths before we had even entered Toscana divido. Food was excellent , very good house made pasta and the veal cheeks were excellent."

  • "We had a nice experience. Food was good (though italian pasta should have been more al dente), service was expedite and staff was friendly."

  • "Overall this restaurant was great! The service was excellent from the hostesses to the bus boy and most of all our waiter! He recommended a dinner for two which allowed my date and I to try all of TD best dishes, and that they were, the best. The portions were large which made it worth the price. We even had enough to take home and enjoy the next day. The only minor critique I would give was that the music was very loud and not so romantic. I felt the restaurant was very authentically Italian except the music. The music made me feel like I was back in Miami. Other than that the overall experience was incredible one of the best I ever had."

  • "THE PLACE WAS NICE AND SO WAS THE AMBIENCE BUT THE SERVICE :-/ AND FOOD :( WE WENT FOR VALENTINES AND UGGHHH IF IT WASNT FOR THE GREAT COMPANY I WAS WITH THEY WOULD'VE RUINED MY NIGHT!! OVERALL IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE AND NOWHERE NEAR THE QUALITY I EXPECTED! NEXT TIME I GO WITH WHAT I KNOW….AZUL!!! THE BEST"

  • "First time to Miami, first meal in Miami. Not disappointed. Great wine selection, and some "limited" selections of wine unique to italy. Looked around through reviewed on Open Table and TA. Would highly recommend if you have a spare night in Miami. Make reservations - busy part of town. JAJ"

  • "this was our third time to TD, I do not know what has changed in the kitchen, but the quality of food is not the same ! we will give it anothr try as our previous experience was excellent, maybe just a bad night ! For example the oysters 2 out of 6 were bad, smelled bad, we did notify one of the waiters, the calamari apetizer very bland, and the special pasta (ink calamari/seafood) nothing special. The service excellent..."

  • "Well...we tried this restaurant with some friends that came from another country because we already ate in every other one on the area and we always had very good service in all of them...so why not? But...honestly it was a dissapointing experience. The prices "seem" fair...$12/15 for a pasta dish; $24 for some fish dish...$12 for a side garden salad (overpriced), $15 for a glass of wine (super over priced)....those were the entrees...and when the food arrived to the table: they were the size of an appetizer!!! Definetely we were not sattisfied with it and I am not a heavy eater. The food was OK...per se...nothing fancy, nothing unique, nothing to remember. To sum this up, there are much better options in the area and will not go back"

  • "This restaurant is pricey, but all four of us thought our dishes were excellent. The only item that failed, in my opinion, was the bread--a tasteless white bread. A choice of breads, including a whole wheat and a focaccia, would be much more appropriate given the prices charged here. The service was exemplary and the outdoor ambience very pleasant and quiet."

  • "This is one of Miami's true, authentic Italian restaurants w/ delicious, authentic Italian dishes. These chefs know how-to-cook. Toscano Devino is the Crown Jewel of Brickell Village dinning. Must try some of these fresh, delicious pastas (as well as other less common-in-Miami such as Tuscan bread soup)."
    Dined on 12/13/2013
  • "This restaurant should not accept reservations. They can't handle them. Been there twice, both times with reservations and had to wait for nearly half an hour to get my table on both occasions. When you sit outside there are two bars with competing loud music. Food is ok but not good enough to compensate for the poor service and loud music from the two different bars."

  • "Always an excellent experience. When I want great Italian , I come here. Not Cheap but food is best."
    Dined on 11/22/2013
  • "Great scene, food and service. The pastas are spot on-- pricey and not hugely portioned, but authentic Tuscan flavor and delicious to boot. This ain't a red gravy joint (those are fine too, but this is a different type of cuisine). The pici senesi is a great meaty pasta with duck that is truly one of the best pastas in town. The Florentine steak for two seems a bit on the pricey side until you realize (1) it includes sides, (2) it is huge and you will have leftovers and (3) it is better than any steakhouse and priced competitively per ounce. The brunch is a real winner too-- great Italian twist and not so expensive. I really hope the neighborhood and the city continue to support this sophisticated, unique...and delicious...treasure."
