Tortilla Coast- Logan CircleService made this outstandingWe were a large group of demanding and drinking women on a Saturday night, and each of us could not help but comment to each other how amazing the service was at this restaurant. We had people show up late, we had people order multiple drinks, and we had people with dietary restrictions and our server (Brandon K) juggled it all while keeping his calm and anticipating our every request. The food is good (the guacamole outstanding), the margaritas delicious (if a little weak), but overall I would highly recommend this for a group outing. It is rare in DC to find a place with service this great.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMCoasting! We booked a luncheon reservation using open table for a colleagues birthday celebration. Upon arriving we were quickly seated, given the complimentary chips, salsa, H2o, and our drink orders were taken immediately. Our server was on top of everything....responsive, knowledgeable on all the menu items, offered good recommendations, and was overall top notch. There were only a few other diners - and food was a little slow leaving the kitchen, but upon arrival everyone seemed incredibly satisfied. If you are looking for a true "Mexican" experience, this place doesn't offer that "Southwest" flare - but it was solid. Would definitely go back.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mexican! Very healthy, light and delicious.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGroup o girls happyWhile it wasn't the most trendy scene, the place was hoppin, food and drinks and service all surpassed the typical DC tex mex places.
While Inwas there with a group catching up on old times and slugging margs, there were a couple of kids around which I'll keep in mind next time we r downtown with our crazy toddler. It was honestly so loud I didn't notice the kid til we were leaving.
Great salsa, chopped salad, and ceviche, and the servers were friendly and fast3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
