Located at 100 Chopin Plaza, Toro Toro is celebrated chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval’s creative Pan-Latin interpretation of a contemporary steakhouse. This sophisticated and sexy concept is modeled after Sandoval’s Dubai Toro Toro, which was named “Best Latin” and “Best New Restaurant” by Time Out.   • "I was pleasantly surprised at the dining experience here. Normally, I do no dine at hotel restaurants, because typically the food is not great. Toro Toro is quite the exception. Since I am not form the area, I wanted some local, cuban influenced food. From the gluten free yucca biscuits, to the ceviche and grilled octopus, the meal of small plates was excellent . For two people the waiter suggested 5 small plates and that was just enough for dinner. My only regret is that we did not have room for the Boomba dessert. Maybe next time!"

  • "The restaurant is very open with a lot of seating. We decided to dine here since it is rated #1 on TripAdvisor. Reservations were made a few days ahead for a Sunday evening. The restaurant was very spacious which made it immediately noticeable that it was quite empty. Nonetheless, the service was very good. Our waiter was able to make several recommendations which was helpful. We ordered two hot plates, scallops and the octopus, would recommend both. We also order the Waygu beef skirt steak which came with potatoes. Both were overly seasoned with salt, and nothing spectacular. We also order the beef short ribs, which were not the best but decent. Decent wine list to choose from. For desert, we ordered the croissant bread pudding."

Our server Nelson made an awesome recommendation for appetizer, the "chicharonnes de camarones" Make sure you try the Chilean Sea Bass. The sweet sauce was awesome and the fish was cooked to perfection! Having an understanding of how restaurant service works, the staff working together as a team was a joy to watch. The manager Carlos was a "hands on manager". He was walking around the floor and actually helping out his crew and not just the usual walking around asking if everything was ok like what you see in other busy restaurants. Make sure you leave room for dessert. The "La Bomba" dessert is out of this world!!"

From the beginning to end Toro Toro was a memorable dinning experience. greeted by a lovely young lady Tasia which was very welcoming and took us to our table right away. Our server Robert was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some great tapas and drinks.We tried the crispy shrimp, the lomo empanada and swordfish dip. For drinks we all agreed to try different ones. Even their mixologist came to our table and explained how they make their drinks.. to top it off we had their Bomba dessert which is by far one of the most create desserst I've had Toro Toro deserves a five star rating, from their staff to management. Even though the restaurant was a bit empty when we got there, we could not even notice it after awhile. The music was great as well as the vibe. In addition, I would like to say a big thank you to our waitress who surprised my boyfriend with a Happy Birthday dessert. I had mentioned that it was his birthday, but I was not expecting such a nice presentation. As for the food, we ordered the skewer for two, which was a great choice for the both of us. The only downside was the octopus that was a bit burnt. Overall the experience was very good and we both had a good time."

The variety of food is way above the expectation and any other brunch places. All food from cold to hot stations has excellent quality and flavors suiting any tastes. Our server was also extremely attentive and always checked on us for anything we may need. In overall, the price per person they charge for the brunch is defintely way worth it and as a hotelier in an upscale lodging establishment, I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone!"

You ought to try their Smoked Swordfish dip, the braised short ribs and the Chilean sea bass. Drinks menus are great from custom drink to the wine list ..... "
