Dinner and drinks were very good, as was the service. I haven't had such a good passion fruit pisco sour in a very long time, give it a try. Ceviche with tuna and scallops were delicious as well. Mateo and Carlos were both very helpful and entertaining. I will be back.

My wife & I came across Toro Toro on open table and decided to give it a try. First impressions the interior is so retro contemporary, gorgeous. The staff were extremely friendly. Our server Robert, was phenomenal in guiding us through the menu, very knowledgeable. The Managers stopped by few times, very polite and on top of everything. We had the Churazico for two as well as truffle fries, fingling potatoes. For desert Carlos & Gabriel made a surprise finish to our wonderful experience with a La Bomba. WOW!!!! truly "the bomb"! Will most definitely return !

We dined on Saturday night, and as expected the restaurant was busy. Yet our dinner was flawless. Service by Matej was impaccable, his recommendations were spot on. Make sure to try crispy chicharon, and braised ribs. La Bomba for dessert was a great ending to our dinner. Very creative and tasty.

Wanted to visit another Richard Sandoval restaurant after dining at Zengo in Denver a few times; found out he had Toro Toro in Miami and went with a friend. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, like ordering multiple small plates to get a taste of different dishes...great atmosphere, waiter disappeared for long lengths of time at a clip so when we needed something had to flag down another, but all in all very nice!

We were very happy and even more when the manager brought 2 champagne glasses. The server went out of her way to ensure everything we great and we had a blast.

I must say, Toro Toro is in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Miami. The food is superb, we had the ceviche nikkei, Mac & cheese, and Churrasco platter for two, Love love love. We also had a few drinks, very interesting array of spices and flavors, highly recommend the machu picchu. Our server Orlando was very helpful and super kind. The managers came numerous times to check how our experience was, both very nice & charming. My husband and I will be returning.

Went here for dinner on the last weekend of Miami Spice. The Spice menu provided a good sample of Toro Toro's full menu. Overall, the experience was delightful and the service was impeccable. That said, we ate rather early, 6:45, and the restaurant was only a quarter full. For the dinner entree we ordered the churrasco tasting but the waiter informed us that they weren't serving lamb on the plate and that a New York strip tasting was substituted in its place. Unfortunately, the strip steak was rather tough and inedible. There were three other meat tastings on the plate and the portion was quite large so it was by no means a disaster. Otherwise an eclectic vibe, unpretentious atmosphere and fun place.

I went for the steak (filet mignon of course), and it was perfectly cooked - bless the chef. While the Truffle Fries were calling my name, I had to give the Yuca fries a try as I've never heard of them before - my two dinner guests helped me finish those (unique and very light but tasty). They both chose from the Miami Spice menu and enjoyed their choices. I skipped my usual martini and went straight for the wine and our server knocked it out of the park for me with his recommendation - a Malbec from Argentina that was so smooth it went down like water!! The place seemed quiet although we couldn't get a reservation till 9:15pm (it was a Tuesday night), so that surprised us but the service was impeccable which is what matters - well done!!!

I had booked a table for 10pm on a Sat night. All I could get as they are so popular. We sat at the bar and ordered some cocktails which were fab. The blood mojito was a highlight. Our table was ready ahead of time which was great. We had some starters and the mixed grill for 2. Our mistake was having a starter instead of keeping room for dessert. La bomba looked like a must do and we regretted not having anymore room. In short, good food, diligent friendly service and reasonable price tag.

We went on a Saturday before a football game for the taco bar which was fantastic. A plethora of filling choices, all freshly prepared accompanied by beer or a delicious drink (tamarindo?). It was the perfect pre game meal and ended up sustaining us through the game. The thing we found most notable, however, was the service. There was a seeming army of people checking on us, removing plates, bringing libations, etc. Great food, fair price, great service--would definitely go back, maybe next time for dinner
